5. Remember the name

As Ling left Lan Fan try to rest. She wanted to be on her feet again, by Ling's side to make sure nothing happens to him

I wonder if he has a replacement shadow. She thought. He was probably offered one. Most likely rejected the idea though.

Thoughts filled her mind. Endless theories and situations of Ling being hurt and harm, of her not being able to protect him. But she tried to push all the thoughts aside so that she can rest her body.

But as she fell asleep a name crept into her mind. And as the darkness of her powerful memories overcame her, the name was carved into her mind.
