Puss in Boots is down to his last life and is terrified as he now has to battle his greatest foe yet: Death! Spoilers for The Last Wish.

What if instead of "I laugh in the face of death", Puss' signature phrase was slightly different? - Death watched as several dogs at a card table bared their teeth at an orange cat, and was about to leave, but the next words stopped him dead in his tracks. "I do not fear death." The cat proclaimed with a confident smirk. Death felt his heart beat for the first time.

After his encounter with Death and Artemis, Puss is visited by one of the God's of Olympus...who has an interesting offer.

"Team Friendship" is in Far Far Away to celebrate Christmas with Shrek and his friends and family. But Perrito's never celebrated Christmas before and is unsure what it all means and is too timid to ask Puss or Kitty about it. Donkey finds out, however, and takes it upon himself to educate the little dog all about Christmas. But will he give Perrito the wrong idea?

On the way home, Puss and Kitty decide to talk about the event that separated them for several years - Santa Coloma. What conclusions will the infatuated couple come to?

Puss in Boots ultimately loses the battle against Death in which his last nine live were at stake. What sacrifice will Kitty be capable of to save the Cat?

For centuries, Death had taken the souls of the deceased, and he can't and wouldn't ask for anything better. However, this all changes when he loses his terrifying power that makes him honored.
