This might be late. I'm writing as we speak... You see, I have an infamous habit of doing homework at the last minute. It doesn't work well. Enough about me, except I might upload stories later considering my family does not approve of my grades, onto the story!

Chapter 13: Just one visit

Start:

Natsu woke up from his bed. He felt dizzy, but not hangover dizzy, more like I-need-a-few-moments dizzy. When he usually went to the infamous Blue Pegasus he would drink beer, wine, and go home. As soon as he did on those days he would sleep and wake up with the biggest headache in the world, and when that happened, he wouldn't even bother to remember what happened since he knew what he was going to do it again.

This time, instead of expecting the biggest hangover, he felt fine except for a big bump on his head which began swelling as Natsu rubbed it. It was probably one of those fights at the bar. After all, he did remember going to the bar along with... He couldn't bring an image to mind about the person who was with him. The person was blonde so it must've been Sting last night. Still, he remembered feeling a powerful spark last night. Natsu yawned as he stood up in bed when a knock came before the door opened.

It was Mirajane with a bright smile and a tray of food in her hands. "Am I late for breakfast?" He asked, keeping his double life in top order. She didn't reply but just put the food down on a table, go back to the door and locked it with a key. "What are you doing?" Natsu cautioned. The way she was acting was strange. Strange meant bad for MiraJane.

"So Natsu, where did you go last night?" The beauty began asking. "To a club" He answered honestly. "So you did, and do you remember who you went with?" She pressed further. "I don't have time for thi-ssss" Natsu froze as Mira went into her Demon form. "Let me ask again. Who did you go with?"

Natsu, in a state of terror, gulped as he tried to backtrack his memories. "I went to the club...with...Sting! I remember going with a blonde and he's the only blonde I know." Natsu answered.

"Are you sure. I'm positive there are other blondes."

"There's Laxus, Gramps when he had hair was blonde, Lucy, and..." Natsu began taking count. When he said Lucy something became clearer in his memory for a split second.

"Natsu...You asked Lucy on a date, remember" Mirajane pressed on like an interrogator. Natsu, the interrogatee in this scene, recalled he did ask Lucy on this date.

Oh yea...I did ask Lucy... As he remembered it. Mirajane looked expectantly at him. She eyed the dragon slayer waiting for a reply. Instead she got an action. Natsu, who was sitting up in bed, let his self fall back onto the bed.

"You remember?" Mira pleasantly asked, still in her Satan form.

"A-A-Aye" Natsu half stuttered and half whispered.

"I wasn't there and Lucy didn't tell me anything... She gave me my phone though. Which also contained the recording of the car ride. Let me add some things. You do not call my sister a 'skank' or 'slut'. That also goes with Lucy and any other girl you call. Second, I will put my phone here so you can listen to the recording yourself. Lastly, my sister is coming to visit the prison. I think you can keep the end of your bargain today.

With that, Mirajane changed back into her phone, put the cellphone on his bed and left with the door unlocked.

Natsu stared at the ceiling. He remembered it alright. Every single detail. He sat there, half naked with his gray pajama bottoms. It was so clear and crisp with words messing around.

He sat up and took the phone and pressed 'PLAY' on it since it was on the record screen.

The audio started. It began when Natsu started to compliment Lucy. It then went from Lucy trying to ask about Lisanna and where Natsu continued to not be himself. Finally it reached that point where the icing on the worlds worst cake was overlapping.

"What happened to the marriage... Why did you start flirting with other girls? Also, why did-"

She got cut off and Natsu remembered why. He had kissed Lucy. It made him feel sick. Not because of the kiss but because he forced himself on her. The sound began to get more scratchier.

"I'm not Lisanna...Those girls aren't Lisanna..."Lucy's voice began to say. Obviously trying to catch a breath. When she did say those words, it phased Natsu now. She said it. Nobody would dare say it to his face. Much less behind his back."I don't give a fuck about Lisanna! She's a slut like you" Natsu had said in the recording. Natsu was tempted to click the pause button. He didn't want to hear this but he MUST hear it. It wouldn't be right for Lucy or himself.

Finally, Natsu in the phone had said "So you want to play rough.." before noises of a quiet scream and the loud footsteps thundering past by."It's your fault. You did this to yourself." Natsu had said. It wasn't, it was Natsu's.

"N-Natsu..."

"I'm taking you back, don't you dare say anything about this" Natsu was bellowing now. "Deal...Let's make a deal" Lucy had said. "What are you talking about?"

"Go and talk to Lisanna..." This made Natsu freeze for real.

"What's in it for me".

"I'll do whatever you want"

"I already have 10 girls at my feet, what makes you special".

"...I'm a virgin". The Natsu in the video was laughing. Natsu in the present, listening to this, had to admit, it was a hilarious declaration.

"I've always wanted to go through the virgin road but you could ruin that" The Natsu's both (Present and in the video) laughed even more at this.

"...pshhh hahahahah! J-Just let me ask you something... Why didn't you scream when I did that to you?"

"Because...you always said that somebody would come and save me if I screamed. It would be useless If that person was the one doing it." Lucy answered. Natsu narrowed his eyes. He did say that... He looked up.

"Fine...Just don't regret it. Also, how do you win?"

No answer. Natsu had thought it was that the recording time on the phone has timed out but Natsu realized it was still going. He realized what her answer was.

He had to talk to Lisanna. Not to take advantage of Lucy. For his own good.

Lucy was eating in the cafeteria. Constantly letting her eyes dart back and forth. Most of guards were in the front lobby, apparently someone important has arrived in the lobby but Lucy didn't pay attention to who it was. The only thing she was paying attention to was when 'that' person would come.

Lucy's ears perked up as a loud commotion came up. She turned around to see almost all of the guards making a circle around something while moving towards the cafeteria. She turned back to see Natsu coming her way. Lucy stood rigid still. He mouthed something "We need to talk" Lucy, at first, thought it was for her. It wasn't since his eyes didn't meet hers. It followed behind her and towards where the huge crowd was once ago. Lucy turned around to see the crowd disperse in front of her.

Erza spoke up "Minna(Everyone!) Meet Lisanna!" she shouted to all of the prisoners. Of-course, the prisoners were really friendly since they were placed in an over-friendly prison.

Lucy took a good long look at her. She was beautiful. Short white hair that reached her neck. Her blue eyes shone a bright blue that it was glistening a deep blue. Heck, she even had that friendly aura that could brighten anyone's days.

This was Lisanna. Natsu's ex.

She walked a bit off considering she was injured since a long time ago and seemed to be going in Natsu's direction. Lucy followed her figure towards Natsu until she realized Natsu was now staring at Lucy. He looked pained. Was he feeling uneasy about the talk? Or was he feeling remorseful about last night. Lucy chose to not answer. Instead she avoided his gaze until she was sure they were gone before looking at the direction they went.

"Hi Natsu" Lisanna began. She looked healthy and well compared to Natsu who was constantly getting himself ill with beer and might've had herpes from the women he had before (Just a note, he does NOT have herpes)

"Lisanna..."

"I heard some things were happening these past days". Natsu wondered if Mira showed Lisanna the recording. Probably not.

"Lisanna, listen. What I'm going to say is not your fault. You always take the blame and I don't like that so just listen." Natsu sternly said. Lisanna nodded with a serious face. Her serious expression proved she would take it seriously. "I won't interrupt" She whispered.

"Remember when we broke up that day... Well, I was an ass and started going to BLUE PEGASUS for the wrong reasons. Guess I hated the drama that had happened. So I did what any dumb shit would do. I drank, don't worry, I didn't smoke. I had sex with other women." Lisanna's eyes twitched a bit. After all, Natsu had never kissed Lisanna so them having intimate moments were very out of the question. In a way, Natsu was a traitor to Lisanna even though they broke up.

"What made you realize it" Lisanna patiently and softly said. This was what Natsu liked out Lisanna. She was caring and understanding. She also never jumped to conclusions whenever something happened unlike himself. "Simple. I hurt someone close to me mentally and physically."

"Not every girl is me, Natsu" Lisanna calmly replied. Someone would say that she was too full of herself but Lisanna had knew it the moment he explained it.

"Funny, that's what she said when I forced myself on that person" Natsu replied in a dream-like manner. They were both in Natsu's room and sitting on his bed with Natsu lying down and Lisanna sitting up cross-styled.

"You realized it?" Lisanna tested. Natsu nodded.

"Hey Lisanna? Have you moved on already?" Natsu asked suddenly. "Natsu, I realized my love for you was different. So yes, but I am currently single and not looking for a relationship. Why have you?"

Natsu looked the ceiling. "Hmm... Would you get mad at me if I moved on uncertainly?"

"Uncertainly?"

"How do I put this... I'll move on but is it okay to be uncertain about the relationship?" Natsu asked. Lisanna pondered a bit. "I was uncertain about our relationship... I guess being uncertain is normal, especially when starting out" She answered.

"Starting out..." He whispered.

Knock Knock...

The door gently knocked. "I should go, I have to meet the rest of my family" Lisanna said before stepping out of the bed and exiting through the door.

Behind it was a blonde, she was glistening and looked like an angel. "You must be Lucy" Lisanna said. Lucy nodded faintly. "Hope we can meet again formally" Lisanna murmured as she walked past Lucy.

"Hey Lucy, what'cha doing here?" Natsu asked nonchalantly.

"You talked with Lisanna right?" Lucy's voice blurted out as if it was a taboo topic. Well it was but not anymore. "Yup" Natsu said as he began to sit cross-styled on his bed. Lucy closed the door behind her and started walking towards Natsu's fine silk bed before finally getting on the bed.

Natsu, a bit perplexed by her actions, opened his mouth to say something but Lucy spoke first. "BE GENTLE" She blurted out once more. The blonde was blushing massively while shaking timidly which then reminded Natsu of the bet they made. Natsu began to smirk.

"Be gentle with what?" Natsu asked, obviously lying at the oblivious blonde.

"T-The bet..." Lucy said, much softer this time. "Oh yea I forgot" Natsu replied nonchalantly while narrowing his eyes towards Lucy to see her reaction.

Lucy blushed even harder. "you forgot"

"Yup"

"WHY YOU!"

"Did you actually want me, hmm?" Natsu teased with amusement in his eyes at the expense of Lucy.

"NO!" Her reply came suddenly and shakily. Natsu this time, narrowed his eyes.

"Lucy." Natsu's reply was serious and unlike him which caused Lucy to sit still.

"I won't tell you what Lisanna and I talked about but we made up. She told me that uncertainy is normal in a relationship"

"Your getting back together?" Lucy asked with sudden interest. It would be great if they did.

"Nah our love for each other were different to start with. Hey Lucy?" Natsu began.

"Hmm?" Lucy hummed.

"Is it normal for a relationship to start out with uncertain feelings?"

"I haven't been in one, but I guess. It's taking a chance to date someone else and see if it'll last good or end badly" She responded. After all, Erza was taking a chance no matter how hard the complications. "Still, if you get over the uncertainly, you'll become stronger". She finished to see Natsu staring at her. "Nani...(What...)?"

"Lucy, I've decided something." Natsu replied with a smile as he started leaning closer to Lucy.

"Yea, what is it" leaning a bit farther away while Lucy said that, a blush growing on to Lucy.

"I'll be a good boyfriend to you from now on." He said with his signature smile before jumping out of the bed and heading towards the bathroom. "Oh, I think Erza was searching for you a little while ago. Said something about meeting someone." He added before closing the door to his bathroom.

Lucy stood still. Her heart beating wildly and he didn't even touch her! Just those words repeated in her mind. I'll be a good boyfriend to you from now on.

Late...School...is...a...pain. Also, Natsu isn't head over heels in love. Yet. So yea, cliff hangerish and enjoy!
