Sooooo…. Sorry for the long wait. I had to think of suitable pranks and such. Can you imagine? A month!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

CHAPTER 13: THE MAD MAN

Louis cocked his head to the side, twirling his finger around. Hailey sighed dully and complied, doing a three hundred and sixty turn.

Louis was currently judging whether or not the disguises suited the girls. After all, he is a photographer, and he knows disguise more than anyone else do.

"What do you think, James?" he asked, turning to his cousin, who was yawning out of boredom. They were all still in the girls' room, of course. James did a once- over at Hailey and nodded. "I don't get the fuss, Louis. They're just going to buy some materials anyway."

"What do you think?"

James waved his hand nonchalantly. "The usual. Just that, she's uglier now, compared to her normal appearance."

Hailey stared him down. She quite liked the war her hair is chestnut brown with reddish highlights, but then she kept her purple eyes, so it quite did not match. And the ever- clever James Sirius Potter is insulting her again.

"Shut up, Potter. Just because I'm in your house doesn't mean I won't do anything to you." She grumbled, tucking a strand behind her ear.

"Really?" he mocked. Hailey reached up and whacked his head hardly. "How about that?"

"Why you—"

"Hailey! We need to go!" Rose called from not- so- afar.

Hailey glared at James as she passed, running to catch up with Rose and the others.

Rose had her hair blonde, and her face slightly less resembling her mother.

Ginny had her hair curled into black, giving it a wavy aura and a more mature ambiance.

Hermione had her hair dyed red, her face decreasing off the freckles and such.

"You got the list?" Hermione whispered to Ginny, who nodded meekly. They passed by the Halls quietly as they could, avoid interrupting the meeting that was going on with the adults inside the kitchen.

The night winds blew dryly against the girls' faces. Rocks rolled by the pavement, creating toppling noises that slightly startled them. Cars passed by occasionally, and 12 Grimmauld wasn't really that far from the Grocery store, but it peeved Hermione to get out of the House during night time against the rules. But a part of her was thrilled too. [Talk about teenage maturity.]

It was only six o' clock—people might be only returning from offices to their homes.

It wasn't long after that they reached the Grocery store, with Ginny bringing up the list. She smirked as they crowded over.

"Flour, corn syrup, feathers, glitters—"

They rattled off the items, picking the best brands.

After going to the Grocery, they dropped by around the curb, each of the girls had their own bags, when a man suddenly grabbed Hailey's arm, which caused her items to spill.

"YOU!" the man shouted. "You're not from here! You're not supposed to be here! Danger! Danger! You belong to another timeline!"

Hailey's jaw dropped in shock. She looked at her friends in panic, her eyes wide open.

The man has muddy blonde hair, definitely old, and a mustache that has not been shaved. He wears torn and dirty clothes, mud smearing his face.

Despite this, Hailey tried to act nonchalant. "Excuse me? I don't know what you're talking about!"

The man seized Hailey and Rose's arms, speaking to them directly. Unfortunately, they were far from the houses, and rarely do the cars drop by around this area. "I can be not wrong! You have used the mirror! You have unleashed evil!"

Hermione drew her wand and quickly whispered, "Petrificus Totalus!"

The man dropped, frozen on the ground. Hailey staggered back in shock. "What the—"

"Let's bring him there." Rose stated, talking for the first time.

"But Rose—"

"Look at this man! He knows something about the Mirror, and he instantly knew that we were time travelers. If we let him loose, if he's a Death Eater, the information will get to Voldemort. If we let him stay, we have plenty Order members at home—surely they can handle one Death Eater." Rose pointed out, grabbing one of the man's arms. Ginny did the same, holding out her grocery bag to Hermione.

Hermione grumbled. "We better do this quick, lest the muggles see us."

"James, where are the girls? Dinner's ready." Harry said, entering the girls' room with a frown on his face when he found Louis, Fred, George, and James inside.

"Aren't they in the attic? They were not in here a while ago." James answered innocently, hoping the innocence cover will work temporarily this time. It did.

"No, they're not there." Harry replied.

"Basement? The drawing room? The bathrooms? The other bedrooms?" Louis suggested randomly. Fred and George kept their faces straight, seemingly engrossed in their own conversation. If they have one.

"Fine, I'll check there. Why don't you four help me? You seem to be enjoying your free time too much." Harry muttered. James waved a hand. "Sure dad, we're coming."

Once Harry was out of earshot and the door was closed, the four pranksters started laughing.

"I can't believe he was easily deceived by that one." Louis sniggered, wiping a tear from his eye.

"He's only fifteen, cut him some slack." George reasoned, although he was laughing as well.

James stood, stretching up. "Well, shouldn't they be back by now? I mean—"

"JAMES! FRED! GEORGE! LOUIS! COME DOWN HERE NOW!"

"Do you recall—"

"—anything we have—"

"—done yet?" the twins asked in confusion. Slowly, the other two shook their heads, and then quickly hurried downstairs.

There, in the kitchen, were the girls already in their normal appearance, the other Order members around a man tied on a chair. After reviving him, Professor Snape pushed down Veritaserum down his throat and nodded his head at Professor Dumbledore.

"Care to explain what happened?" James whispered to Hailey, who looked at him worriedly. Hailey recounted what had happened to them, one by one. James cocked his head. "How about the supplies?"

Hailey sent him a look, so he decided it was better to shut his mouth.

"Who are you?" Professor Dumbledore asked plainly.

The man looked up and, with equal blankness and stoicism, he answered. "Leonard Laurent."

How about that? It's not my best chapter, I know.

Actually, I already finished this story in my head, although I have trouble getting it into words. So I keep on updating late.
