Gary couldn't have been more wrong.
He strolled happily through the Town, ignoring the few people who tried to stop him for an autograph, making some story up about how busy he was, even though he felt his troubles were over.
He suddenly got a call on his phone. He took it from his pocket, seeing it was Agent Twee, who he had run into earlier.
He answered it, "Hello?"
"G, there's a problem for you at the Ski Hill," she said, a hint of annoyance in her voice. In the background, he could hear arguing.
Sighing, he said "okay" and hung up, teleporting to the Ski Hill.
Twee stood there, arms crossed, tapping her foot impatiently. When he appeared, she pointed at Gariwald and Garianna, who were yelling at each other.
"I can't believe you would do something so dangerous! You could have killed all the people in the school, along with yourself! It's so stupid, I would have expected better from you!"
"As if you're one to talk! You make people go out and find ghosts and keys just to get to you! In the process they could get lost in your stupid mansion or something!"
"HEY!"
Garianna and Gariwald were silenced by Gary's shout. Twee slid down the Hill to prevent penguins from coming up and interrupting.
"You two, can you just stop fighting? There are many differences between you two, but you're still family! You guys shouldn't be at each other's throats every second of every day! It's terrible! I've heard the story, and it's ridiculous! There's no reason you two should hate each other so much! Gariwald, the only reason you dislike Garianna is because she's accomplished something you can't! And Garianna, the only reason you hate Gariwald is because he's had more fun social interaction than you! Get over it! Go out and do something! Both of you! Leave each other alone or make up!" Gary had balled up his hands into fists, breathing heavily after he was finished with his lecture.
The two were silent, until Garianna spoke.
"I really am sorry, Gary. I had no idea we were putting so much stress on you over the short span of a few hours. You should have just told us in the beginning."
"She's right. We are being petty. We're fighting over nothing, really. I guess after the hate dissipated, we still wanted a reason to fight but didn't have one. I too apologize, Gary," Gariwald said.
"So is the fighting finally over, or will I have to deal with this again in a few months?" Gary said, relaxing his hands and shoulders and sighing once again.
"We're done. I'm sorry we put you through this," Garianna said softly, hugging Gary. He returned the hug, nodding.
"I'm fine now. I just need to rest."
"But it's only 5 PM."
"I don't care anymore."
