The Doctor's Battle

After the events in Mercy, the Doctor falls ill and is unable to contain his darker side, thus the Dream Lord is released. Now it's up to Amy, Rory and a weakened Doctor to save the victims of the Dream Lord, namely the Doctor's past companions including Martha, Mickey, Jack, Donna and Rose. The Dream Lord is playing a game and it's all about not losing your mind. Can they do it?

11. Excuses (AKA: Why I haven't updated)

Hey guys, remember me? It's... been a while hasn't it?

To cut a long story short, a lot has happened to me in this past year and, well, a close family member of mine has passed away.

I'll spare you the details, because really, what'll that do?

All I wanted to say is YES I'm fine and NO I haven't abandoned this fic. Not completely. However, it WILL take me some time to get back on track as I've been away from it for so long.

For the moment, I'm just cleaning up some mistakes on my old chapters (you may notice that I've marked these chapters by mentioning the date they were updated in bold.)

Anyway, in a day or two I'm being flown off to Australia to see my family and just relax for a while, so I won't be around for 2 months. After I'm back, things will get a little dizzying as I have a lot on my plate to do for my gap year, but I promise I'll start working on a new chapter when I'm back in the good ol' UK.

Until then, I hope you'll accept my most gracious apologies for leaving you hanging for practically a year and I'll see you guys soon some time in 2014!
