Chapter 3: Reuniting (Amy)
Place: Paris, France
POV: Amy
Amy was told that they would be going to family in France who had some rare antiques. Amy wondered if it was one of the Cahill families. Although, when Amy tried to ask, they only replied with a "You'll see when you get there." Right after landing, and leaving their things in the hotel, they immediately went. When they arrived Amy noticed the Lucian symbol and the words Kabra Residence on the name plate in front of the house. Amy gulped. She did not want to see Ian Kabra again; especially after that weird dream and feeling she had felt the other day. Amy sighed. Why was fate so cruel? Although, other than that, there was no reason that she had to hide from him anyways.
Amy followed with her workmates and start walking into the mansion.
"Are you okay Amy, you seem… a bit pale…" Crystal said to Amy.
"Eh? I'm fine, maybe just a bit jet lagged." Amy replied.
Amy smiled after that, she had met Crystal during her first days of work, and she had helped her though the ropes of her work, and not before long they became close friends.
"Okay then, don't push yourself too hard." Crystal replied.
The mansion was beautiful in every detail, the front garden was very impressive to her, but Amy saw no servant, not a single person. Did Ian and Natalie do this all by themselves? No way, they would never, right? But, what did Amy really now about Kabra siblings…? Everyone has secrets they don't want other people to know…
Before Amy knew it, they were at the front door. The leader, Mark, explained everything before ringing the doorbell. They would be separated into different groups, and exploring at different times. Luckily, Amy got placed in the same group as Crystal.
"The Kabra family is being very generous into letting us see their antiques, remember not to be rude in any way." Mark reminded one time before officially ringing the doorbell.
To Amy's surprise Ian was the one who answered the door. She was surprised when he slightly paused a moment and slightly blushed, when their eyes locked for that short moment. Amy looked away instantly, not wanting to make attention. Amy could tell Crystal knew something was going on. As they entered the mansion Crystal gave this mischievous smile like she expected something, but Amy just looked away and kept quiet.
Amy looked around the mansion as Ian led them to the third floor. The place was huge. She can already imagine herself getting lost, not knowing how to get back. Her group seemed to be first to go visit, while the others were led to another room with more common antiques. As they continued walking, Ian explained more about what they were going to see, but Amy couldn't seem to pay attention to his words. She was distracted by how handsome he looked, but then mentally slapped herself back into reality as she continued listening to Ian's explanation.
I am back! I know this chapter was meh, but I promise the next chapter will actually contain 'romance' between the 2. :3
