Before Maria could even look around a strange pink hedgehog ran up and screamed in her face, "HI!"
"EEEEK!" Maria shrieked as she fell toward the ground.
"Oh my gosh!" The pink hedgehog exclaimed as she helped Maria up. "I'm sorry! Sometimes I get overly excited! Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine," Maria said as she smiled at the girl. Wow, she looks a lot like Rosy.
"You're Maria Robotnik right?"
"Um, ye-"
"Great! My name's Amy and I'm here to show you everything in this school!"
"Oh, okay, thank you." Maria smiled again. Great, She thought sarcastically, She's extremely peppy.
"So, let's start with the cafeteria…"

Maria was completely worn out. Amy had literally shown her everything. Even the dead fly in the corner of the girl's locker room.
Why did grandpa build such a gigantic school!? At least I met a bunch of people. In fact, I think I met everyone.
"Wait; there are three more people you need to meet!" Amy said after she recounted everything.

Amy looked around for a while when she finally spotted what she was looking for. "There they are! Oh, how could I forget about my precious Sonic?"
Maria turned around as she tried to contain her laughter. Precious Sonic? She almost notice the three boys immediately and the first one she noticed was a black and red hedgehog with pure red eyes.
"So that's Silver." Amy pointed to the smallest one, "He's a sophomore. Rumor has it that he has never been seen without his brothers before! Oh, and he has telekinesis, so I would watch out if I were you."
Telekinesis? Maria thought as she glanced at the ivory hedgehog Is he from the future or something? How did he get that?!
"And that," Amy said, snapping Maria out of her thoughts, "Is Shadow," She pointed at the hedgehog that Maria had noticed earlier, "He's a senior like us! He's basically a loner, he doesn't really like to talk to people other than his brothers, and most people have only heard him say "hmph".
Oh great, a bad boy. I hate him already…
"Anyway!" Amy started again, making Maria jump, "I've saved the best for last, Sonic!" Amy's eyes sparkled with happiness as she fantasized about her and Sonic's eventual first kiss. "He's SO nice and SO athletic!"
He's not that great… Maria thought as she looked at the blue hedgehog. Normal shoes, normal gloves, he just looked painfully average compared to the other two.
"He's SO great! The star of the athletes AND he's super nice to his brothers!" Amy went on and on about how great Sonic was, but Maria was no longer paying attention. She was examining the brother's appearances, and they all looked completely different.
They don't look like brothers to me…
"Quick!" Amy suddenly screamed. Maria was having a lot of heart attacks today. "They're coming this way! Act cool!" Amy quickly ran towards the lockers and leaned back against it.

"Hey Ames, what's up?" The blue hedgehog greeted with a friendly smile and Maria instantly knew that he was the nicest out of the three.
"Oh hey Sonic," Amy said casually, "I didn't see you there."

"I was just showing Maria around." Amy gestured to the human girl.
"Hi!" Maria said sweetly.
"'Sup!" Sonic greeted cheerfully, "I'm Sonic! Sonic the hedgehog!"
Really? Maria thought sarcastically Thank you for pointing out what was so very obvious. "I'm Maria!" She said cheerfully.
"These are my two brothers, Silver-"
"Hello," The white one said.
"-and Shadow."
"Hmph." The black and red one crossed his arms.
Gee, nice to meet you to Shadow.
"So, uh, it's cool that you came just before the play!" Sonic attempted to end the silence which was so very awkward.
"Yeah," Maria said, remembering how Amy was talking about it being two days away. "No offense, but you and Shadow don't really seem like the kind of guys that would like plays."
"None taken! Shadow and I usually hate plays, but Silver's in Drama and he's playing the male protagonist. What was his name again? Uh, white? Grey? Blue-?
"Ivory." Silver spoke.
"Right! I knew it was a color."
"So… What's it about?"
"Well," Sonic seemed to be doing all the talking today. "It's called '2006 Ivory's Story'. It's actually about the future, but it's called that because the play was written before 2006."
"Ivory's story?" Maria questioned, "Are there more about other characters?"
"Yeah, actually! It's a trilogy; the others are about these guys named Shade and Cinos. They chose Ivory because Silver looks identical to him."
"Hm, sounds interesting. I might come!"
"Cool!" Sonic said brightly, "You could sit with Shadow and me!"
You and Count Dracula? No thanks.
"That sounds like fun!" Maria grinned.
"Hey! Class is starting soon!" Amy suddenly said, "Shadow, you have Tower for history right?"
Shadow crossed his arms and nodded.
"Great! Take Maria with you!"
