Weapons and Red Water

Chapter three: Two sets of eyes and marriage.

Winter ASC. 99

Onboard a mid-sized Fire Nation hybrid military/transport vessel named the Raven Pack Wolf, a young fifteen year old boy is lost in dream. The dream the boy was having is a memory from his past.

Dream…

"Father please forgive me." The boy says as he falls to his knees in front of Fire Lord Ozai.

Ozai was partially obscured by the light of the setting sun. The sun also glinted off his triple bladed spear. The spear had three blades were placed with their edges parallel to each other. (Think Wolverine's claws but strait.) But you could make out the man's upper body. Ozai's arms looked to be as wide as a tree trunk, well his pecks and eight pack abdominal muscles looked like they were cut from granite.

"Stand and fight Sokka." Fire Lord Ozai says with rage barley detected in his voice.

"Father please forgive me, I must duel the Fire Lord as I have shamed both you and myself by speaking out of turn and not trusting in the wisdom and love the Fire Lord has for his nation." Sokka states to his father as he bowed deeper.

"As your father I forgive you for being forced to defend your honor in this way son. But as the Fire Lord only battle can redeem your honor, so stand, and fight Crown Prince Sokka of the Fire Nation." Ozai tells his son with a smile after realizing what Sokka was doing.

"Uncle Iroh I know this will be painful to watch, with cousin Lu-Ten's birthday being so close but I ask that you, do not look away." Sokka says as he stands up holding his trident at the ready.

"One shall stand, one shall fall." Sokka states traditional line a Southern Water Tribe member states before a duel.

And with these words father and son begin a brutal duel. Only when one of their weapons tasted blood would the duel end. Although Sokka was only twelve he held his own with his father who was not only a master fire bender, but he was a master of the spear as well. In the end their duel ended in a draw with Sokka receiving three slashes to his right eye, well Ozai received a cut along one of his lower ribs, tracing the bone itself. A true scratch compared to the wound his son received. Ozai ignored his flesh wound to check on his son.

"Let me see your eye son." Ozai says as he kneels by his son setting his spear down as he did.

Sokka was holding hands to his eye yet he did not weep despite the great pain he was in. Sokka removes his hand from his eye letting his father see his eye. Ozai observes the wound as blood pores down his little boys face and Ozai sheds tears for the first time since his beloved mother died.

"Iroh get my medical bag. Piandao get me a blood transfusion kit form the medical wing. Sokka is losing blood way faster than he should be." Ozai says as he rips his cotton pants so he can apply presser to Sokka's eye. The last thing Sokka sees are his mother's worried blue eyes. Normally his mother keeps her eyes gold when she was awake, so Sokka found it odd that they were matching the eyes of his little sister who was standing next to his mother. Katara liked her blue eyes so she kept them blue most of the time.

End of the dream…

Sokka woke with a start sweat pouring down his topless upper body. Unlike his father's rock like build Sokka possessed a build more like that of steel cables. Sokka's muscles were well-defined and strong, yet flexible. And like steel Sokka was able to absorb a great punishment, well dishing out even greater punishment to his enemies. But Sokka's most startling features were polychromatic eyes. His left eye was blue as that of the water tribe and his golden right eye was always noticed first now a days, because of the three diagonal scars going from right to left, half an inch above his eyebrow to the bottom of his cheekbone.

Sokka was lucky that his father's blow missed his pupil but still scratched his eye's lens. That wound was the single most painful thing Sokka had ever felt. He had to have his eye covered for two months well it healed. Sokka joined the Navy shortly after that. Thanks to his cunning mind Sokka was put on the fast track and at the age of fifteen became the youngest Admiral in the history of the Fire Nation. Sokka also did this mostly by his own merits.

"I hate that dream. At least we learned that I was poised by an anticoagulant by admiral Chi-Sheng in an attempt to purify the bloodline of the royal family. The Stupid elitist bender, but thanks to a blood transfusion from his father, uncles and grandfather I lived." Sokka thinks out loud as his stomach growls.

"Well let's get some breakfast." Sokka tells himself as he puts on a short sleeve shirt and heads for the galley.

"Hello Uncle Piandao and Uncle." Sokka says to his uncles.

The three men were heading to the Southern Water Tribe after making an accord with High Chief of the tribes of The Southern Water tribe. Sokka agreed that the Fire Nation would give aid to the villages as long as the Southern Water Tribe only defended the waters of Chameleon Bay, the only route by sea to Ba Sing Se. they also agreed that if Ba Sing Se should fall, Hakoda would be allowed to duel Ozai for the fate of the Southern Water Tribe. The only reason the Southern Water Tribe was allowed to keep defending the waters of Ba Singe Se was because they were hired to by the Head of the Dai Lee, Long Fang as mercenaries to defend the bay.

After the duel regardless of the outcome, the surviving water benders of the Southern Water Tribe would be released from Dry Rock. Sokka was bringing the first of the relief supplies to the village Hakoda came from himself, not because he needed to, but because he chose to. Sokka wanted to see the village of this mother's birth after all. His ship was carrying not just food, but medicine, letters and gifts from the men of the Tribe to their families.

Another reason why Sokka was doing this himself was because Hakoda had surprised him by taking him iceberg dodging using a suitable replacement. Sokka with the help of his uncles earned the mark of the wise. Sokka also liked Hakoda's sense of humor. Bato stated that the he and Hakoda seemed to be like father and son in that way.

"We should be arriving at the village in a few hours. That was some phenomena last night. I thought the Celestial Lights no longer occurred in the South Pole." Iroh told his nephew with a joyful grin.

"Who knows what the heck that light was, Old man. What's for breakfast I'm hungry?" Sokka tells his eldest uncle in good humor.

"Roust tortes chicken, after breakfast we will be sparing together Sokka." Piandao tells Sokka with a smile, Sokka was far better warrior then he was now.

"Yum, any word from Ray-Min, she just found out she was pregnant again before we left Uncle Iroh?" Sokka asks his oldest uncle.

"She asked me, to ask you, to let me return home when this mission is done. And I would like to be with her. After all I do miss my daughter and granddaughter along with my dear wife." Iroh tells Sokka.

Ray-min was about fifteen years younger than Iroh. He had a five-year old daughter with the woman and another child on the way. Iroh was shocked when he received a letter for Lu-Ten, the day after his death informing him that his son had a pregnant wife waiting for him in Yu Dai. It was one of the things that prevented Iroh from falling in to a deep depression after his son's death. Iroh did politely refused to take the Throne from his youngest brother, when he returned to the Fire Nation to find his father had retired and made Ozai regent until his return.

Sokka's Gramp-Gramp was currently living on Ember Island with his second wife Ning and five-year old daughter Ting. Ting was quite a shock to the royal family do to the age of Ning.

"Well woman do outnumber us men in the family since there are only five of us. When are you going to find a woman Uncle Piandao?" Sokka asks the youngest of Azulon's sons.

"Shortly after you find a girl that can handle your personality quirks Sokka, maybe you should stop dating you sister's friends and date her enemies or something." Piandao tells Sokka with a smirk.

Sokka had only dated two girls in his life and both broke up with him. His first girlfriend Mai a gloomy girl just did not connect with the Sokka and broke it off with him. Sokka's second girlfriend was a flexible and bubbly girl named Ty lee who broke up with Sokka so she could run away and join the circus. Both girls were his sister Katara best friends and still friends with Sokka.

Two hours later in Hakoda's village

Zuko was a sixteen year old boy standing at about five foot seven inches tall and dressed in the wolf armor of the Southern Water Tribe. Zuko had lighter skin then most of his tribe, which he inherited from his mother and the blue eyes he got from his father. But his most noticeable feature was the light burn scar covering his left eye. He received this scar five years ago when he got hit by a stray shot of fire during the last raid on the village. Zuko hated the Fire Nation ever since, unlike his crazy sadistic sister who wanted to see the land of their mother's birth. (It's a white scar since the fire was not as hot as Ozai's. so it is not as bad as cannon Zuko's scar.)

Zuko watched as the large ship crashed through the wall of the village destroying his watchtower. A boy with skin only a shade lighter than that of the Water Tribes people, came out of the ship wearing cold weather garments of Fire Nation origin. He had a sword strapped to his left side and some kind of scythe strapped to his back.

"Sorry about that my ship's…" Sokka starts to say before he had to dodge a spear thrust from the boy. Sokka deflects the spear strike with his gauntlets before sweeping the attacking boy's feet out from under him. Sokka quickly draws his sword and points it at the boy's throat.

"Calm down boy I am not here to…" Sokka is cut off again, this time by a blast of red water.

"Get away from my brother, I'm the only one allowed to humiliate and hurt him." a girl dressed in a red version of the southern water tribe's stander garments states with a glare that would make most men shit themselves on her face.

Sokka watched as the girl, whose skin was only a shade darker than most Fire Nation woman picks up his fallen scythe, which was knocked off his back when he was hit by the water blast. He could not help but notice the girl's eyes mirrored his own. He also could not help but feel attracted to her. The girl had nice C-cup breasts, long legs, and wide hips. Sokka could not see it but the girl had a large heart-shaped ass that was second only to her mother's ass.

'I like this weapon but it is a bit heavy for me.' Azula thinks as she holds the scythe.

"Hay I did not come here to fight, I came here to deliver aid to the village as agreed between the Fire Nation and High Chief Hakoda. As proof he gave me this." Sokka says as he pulls out a boomerang from inside his coat.

"That's my father's boomerang, but how do we know you did not just kill him and take it." Azula asks as she steps up to the boy.

Did not show it but he was quite intimidated by this girl and she was a head shorter than him.

'He is cute. Did I just think that?' The girl thinks to herself.

"He told me that he had a daughter named Azula. He told me she has the same eyes as me only mirrored and that she liked to wear red. I take it that is you and the guy with the bad temper and the scar is your older brother Zuko right." Sokka tells the girl as he stands up.

"Ok I believe you for now but you better tell me your name." Azula says to the boy, holding the scythe's point to his neck.

"Forgive me where are my manners. I am Admiral Sokka Crown Prince of the Fire Nation and it a pleasure to meet you." Sokka says as he takes Azula's hand and kissed it. Azula's face goes bright red.

"I am Azula daughter of High Chef Hakoda, it's a pleasure to meet you Sokka." Azula tells Sokka with a smile.

"Get the fuck away from my sister you ash sucking ghaaa." Zuko yells before his sister traps him in ice.

"Stay out of this Zuzu, you already attacked a man flying a white flag and I had to make matters worse to save your butt." Azula yells at her brother as he melts the red ice he is trapped by using water bending.

"Now let's talk about how we will fix this little problem with the attack on you Admiral Sokka, have you had lunch yet. Here let me dry clothes for you." Azula says as she grabs Sokka's arm after she gives him back his scythe and she pulled the water from his clothes using water bending.

Azula then begins to lead Sokka into the village by holding onto his right arm.

"This is my mother Ursa and my Grandmother Kana, Sokka." Azula says as she introduces Sokka to her family.

"You can call me Gran-Gran since everyone in the village does boy." Gran-Gran tells Sokka with a small smile on her face.

"Do you mind if my uncle Iroh comes along to lunch, well my men unload the supplies?" Sokka asks.

"That's fine Sokka. Are you by any chance related to a woman named Kya?" Ursa asks.

"I take it you're the Fire Nation Water Bender my mother tried to kill right. Mom gave me this letter before I left the Fire Nation with the supplies. Before I forget we also have letters and gifts sent from the men of your tribe. My Uncle Iroh has the letters from your husband." Sokka tells Ursa as he hands Ursa the letter from his mother.

'It seems my little girl has a crush on this boy. I hope he can handle her, after what she did to her last boyfriend when he broke up with Azula. The boy left two weeks before the rest of the men to get away from my little Azula.' Ursa thinks to herself. She then reads the letter.

'I challenge you to a duel Ursa. I will be in Ta-Non port when Sokka docks I look forward to seeing you there. Prepare to lose, Kya.' The letter reads.

"Min please make sure the girls get there letters." Ursa tells one of the woman of the village.

"Yes mam." Min replies to Ursa's order with a salute.

Min was a tall woman standing at five foot, seven inches tall. She had long wavy brown hair that was pulled back in a loose pony tail with two braids framing her face. She had modest B-cup breasts, but she did have a nice large round ass that seemed to jiggle as she walked and nice long legs with wide hips. Min wares a white fur shirt made from a wolf pelt and had her long parka open. Strapped to her side was a jian sword with a three foot by three inch blade.

At thirty-four Min was still a knock out, but she was also the only woman of age not married in the village. This was because as the best swordswoman in the south she would only marry a man who could best her with the sword. She proceeded on to the ship were Piandao was standing with his four-foot by three-inch jian, held in his left hand.

"We would be happy to have your Uncles join us for dinner. Zuko be on your best behavior, I know you do not like the Fire Nation but we need to hear them out. As for your mother's letter I would be happy to give her a rematch but I will need a ride there and back." Ursa tells Sokka in a voice that scares the crap out of him and Ursa reminds him of his own mother when she is mad.

"Well I would be happy to take you there and will arrange transport back home for you." Sokka says as he waves his hand signaling his men to start unloading and his uncle Iroh to join him.

Before he can introduce his uncle Sokka suddenly grabs Azula and throws himself to the ground covering the girl with his body, as an orange and yellow blur crashes into the ground were they were standing. Sokka stands up pushing Azula behind him and draws his sword.

Before Sokka can do anything, Azula hits what Sokka can now tell is a boy in the head with her hand.

"What do you think you're doing Aang that was rude of you, now apologies to Sokka, right now?" As Azula says this before they hear some of the soldiers and woman cheering.

"Does anyone on your ship carry a sword around?" Ursa asks Sokka as he puts his sword away.

"My uncle Piandao does. Why?" Sokka asks confused.

"That's not Sword Saint Piandao is it?" Ursa again asks Sokka.

"Yes he is and again why are you asking?" Sokka asks having one of his naïve moments.

"Well I should not have sent Min to help with unloading of the letters she is probably fighting your uncle right now. We might as well watch." Ursa says as she walks to the circle of soldiers and woman, Sokka, Azula, Zuko, and Aang fallowing close behind her.

After pushing their way through the crowed the small group watch as Piandao disarms Min by cutting her blade half.

Earlier with Min and Piandao

Piandao was watching the men unload when he heard a woman's voice.

"You there, how good are you with that sword?" Min asks Piandao after she sees the sword in the man's hand.

"I am pretty good with it, why do you want to spar?" Piandao asks noticing the sword woman's waist.

"Yes I do." Min says as she grasps the hilt of her jian Piandao noticed that the pummel was a lucky cat.

"Let's step off the ship so we can have some more room." Piandao says as he walks down the gangplank Min silently fallowing him.

Once the two are a ways away from the ship Piandao turns and waits. Min makes the first move rushing Piandao and with lighting speed draws her sword slashing at him. Piandao mimics her movement drawing his blade with the same speed blocking the blow and his blade cuts into the woman's sword. Piandao quickly fallows up by swinging his sheath at min who twists her sword blocking the blow well still holding back Piandao's sword. The two break their deadlock backing off. With the element of surprise lost Piandao sticks his sheath in the ice taking his sword in both hands.

The two then clash several times as the woman and soldiers gather to watch. It was not every day you get to see the best swordsmen in the Fire Nation spar with the best swordswoman in both Water Tribes. The two's swords both take a lot of damage as the clashed. There match got to the point were no thought was need and they began to understand each other with each clash of their swords. They were quickly falling for each other with each blow, blocked and counter.

Their swords were beat to hell on one side, taking advantage of this Piandao switches his blade around before he swings cutting through Min's sword. Piandao stops his blade just before it could cut into the woman's shirt.

"Marry me?" Piandao asks Min with a smile as he lets down his sword.

"Yes I will." Min tells the man before grabbing him and giving him a kiss.

To be continued…

Azula has had more interaction with boys her own age, being from the Southern Water Tribe so she is not as clumsy with them as cannon Azula.
