Jane sat in a park, leaning against a tree. She had left the medical ward a while ago; she just needed some time to think. What am I gonna do? She looked at the sky, starring at the green planet. What can I do? She looked down at her Nanocom, then over at an area of the park where Fusion Spawns ran around. She closed her eyes, back against the tree, thinking.

"Hi," Jane looked up to see a girl floating in front of her, "I'm Bubbles."

"Jane."

"Have you seen my sister? She's missing. Could you help find her?"

"Where have you looked?"

"Everywhere!"

"Okay, where haven't you looked?"

"A lot of places, I guess. Maybe you should ask MoJo.

"Sure." Bubble's Nanocom beeped.

"I gotta go, the mayor needs me. See ya!" the girl flew off in a streak of blue. Jane smiled, she found a Monkey Sky-Way Station nearby.

"Need a lift?" a monkey asked.

"Yeah."

"Where to?"

"As close as you can take me to MoJo's Volcano."

Jane stood at the bottom of a volcano that stood in the downtown area. She looked up at it, for moment thinking about what she would do.

Jane stood in MoJo JoJo's 'house', watching the chimp rant on and on about something or other. After the first five minutes she tuned him out, until he shouted at her.

"Why are you here? At my house? The house of I, MoJo JoJo, which you have come to. What is you business here? For this is my house, and you must have a reason for being here, or else you would not be here. For you must have a reason for coming here, to my home, where I live. So what is your purpose? Because…"

"Sorry for interrupting, but I had the feeling this could go on for a while. I'm here to ask you about where you've sent search parties to look for Buttercup."

"Every practical place, for those are the places that are practical and…"

"Where haven't you searched?"

"Many places, places where she couldn't be missing or lost, she couldn't be in those places, because if she was in those places she would not be missing, she…"

"Places such as?"

"The entire down town area…"

"And if she was there?"

"Then she would not be missing, she would know where she was and go home, but…."

"How did she go missing in the first place?"

"In the heat of combat, I knocked her into the ocean, as to say…"

"What if her impact with the ocean caused her to forget?"

"…"

"Who she is, where she is, even her own name is might be forgotten."

"Then she could be anywhere!"

"Exactly."

Jane wondered through downtown, a handful of homemade flyers with her. She faintly smiled when she saw who she was looking for. Jane walked up to the girl and showed her a flyer.

"Have you seen this person, her family is getting worried." A green skinned guy slid up next to the girl.

"We ain't seen nobody who looks like that."

"Okay then… if you see her, tell her how much her family misses her!" she gave them a flyer, looking the girl in the eyes "they really want her to come home."

"Good luck with your search." The girl said. Jane walked away from the two. Plan A failed. Time for plan B…..

Jane sat in front of Dee Dee's house, trying to come up with a plan B. I could just attack her and hope she remembers…. No, that sounds more like a plan C or D. Professor Utonium came up to her.

"Hello, Professor."

"Well, hello. Say, do you mind helping me?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Blossom is really upset about Buttercup's disappearance. Could you give her this scrapbook?" He held a green scrapbook with the word 'Buttercup' printed on the front.

"I'll make sure it gets to her." he handed her the book. Buttercup's scrapbook. Buttercup's memories.

"Bye, now."

"Bye, Professor."

There was a knock at the door. No one else was home, so Belladonna answered it. There was no one there. Only a box, with a sticker saying it was addressed to her. She sat down and opened it. Inside was a green scrapbook, with the name Buttercup neatly written on it. She didn't understand why it was sent to her, but she opened it any way. She smiled at pictures of a three little girls, no less than five, standing next to one another. She noticed news articles, with headlines like 'The PowerPuff Girls Save the Day' and 'PowerPuff Girls Save Townsville'. As she progressed through it, she noticed one of the girls appeared more often than the rest. She had short black hair and bright green eyes. That must be Buttercup. Belladonna thought. She saw through the pictures, Buttercup getting older, and there became fewer articles, slowing being replaced by CD covers and sports awards. One award was for singing in a talent show.

The last page of the scrap had an article titled 'Buttercup's missing'. The date on it was a few years ago. Belladonna read over it once, twice. She closed the book and placed it off to the side, looking to see what else was in the box. There was a flyer that read the following:

Buttercup Utonium

Age: 13

Last seen hurling into the ocean

If found, contact Professor Utonium, Blossom, Bubbles, MoJo JoJo, or Dexter of DexLabs.

There was also a picture of the girl on it. Belladonna looked into the box one last time, and pulled out a Black Hand mirror. She looked into it, then at the picture, and back. She turned to the box and pealed back the sticker on it. Underneath the one that said 'to Belladonna', was one that said 'to Buttercup'. She compared her reflection to the image once more. She… looks like me! Memories began flooding her mind. The professor, her sisters, hurling into the ocean. The experience of it all rushing back to her caused her to black out.

Jane watched for her hiding spot. Her plan had worked, somehow. She waited a few minutes, before seeing Ace approach the building. He picked up the unconscious Belladonna and carried her inside. The second the door closed, Jane raced out of her hiding spot, grabbed the scrapbook, and ran. Now to get it to Blossom.
