Hey people. I really struggled to remember what was happening and where I was going with it :/ but I tried to remember. This may not be what I originally planned for this story and I may not exactly know where I am going with it but I know I hate it when I love a fanfic and it is left incomplete. So here you go
"Well, come with me and I will show you" The man said still smiling. I was a little curious of this man, I didn't like the way he kept smiling. Also he wanted me to follow him. I knew that I could take him if he tried anything funny, so I decided to follow him
"Where exactly are we going?" I asked as we walked through the village
"Were going to my hut, it's at the bottom of the mountain over there, right next to the path that take you up the mountain" I found this rather strange. I had been up that mountain many times and I never once saw a hut at the bottom of it
"How long have you been living there?"
"I used to live there many years ago and just came back only a few days ago"
"So why did you leave? And what made you come back?"
"I go wherever I am needed. And I felt that I was needed here" What a strange guy
DREAM SKIP
All of a sudden I can now see the path at the bottom of the mountain and a small hut. I don't know what just happened. I feel like I am in a dream and it has just time skipped or about to start another dream like I usually do
"Well Sam, we're here. Come on inside" I followed the man in to the hut. It was really small, there was only a small bed and a big wooden chest in it
"In this chest" The man said walking over to the wooden chest "Is special armour. Two sets of special armour actually" I looked at him confused
"How is this armour special?"
"Because Sam, people only see the skill of the person who is wearing the armour"
"And what exactly does that mean"
"Well for one of the sets of armour... Let's say that your skills as a warrior are equal to the skills which is stereotypically possessed by a tall, strong man... People would see you as exactly that, a tall, strong man. So, there is a chance that if your skills are good enough that. And for the other set of armour, well it makes you invisible in a way, others won't be able to tell if you are male or female. They will see you are a good warrior which they need and won't say anything else. But I am going to give you only one of these sets of armour as someone else needs one"
"How can I be sure that you are telling the truth?"
"If you don't want the armour then you don't have to take it" I don't know what it is about this guy but something tells me I can trust him. I smiled knowing that I could now fight for my village without the men getting in my way
"Okay, so which one do I get?"
"Hmm, the second one" The man said as he pulled out the armour "I shall wait outside for you to put it on" I don't know how but this armour is exactly my size and lets face it, I am kinda small and haven't met a grown man that is the same height as me
DREAM SKIP
Ugh, another time skip? Wait... I looked around to see that I am in a battle field of what was once my village. There are bodies everywhere and my first instinct is to run to the hills at the other side of the village where that strange man was. As I make my way there I notice that I am covered in blood, I have a sword that is covered in blood and the armour is dented and worn from a fight
When I get to the small hut I bang on the door
"Hey!" I shout "Open up" The small man then opens the door
"Hello Sam. What are you doing here?" I frown
"I don't exactly know. I assume from the way I look and the fact that I was in a battle field means that I fought but I have no memory of it... I guess I should take this armour off" The small man chuckles
"Oh I'm afraid that won't be any time soon Sam"
"Uh, what do you mean?"
"Well you put on armour that a suspicious stranger offered you. That may not have been the smartest thing to do. But what I mean is that this armour is special like I said" Uh where is he going with this?
"Right... Start making sense"
"You put on this armour why?"
"Because I wanted to fight!" The small man smiled
"Yes. Why?"
"Why did I want to fight?" The man nodded "To help my village!"
"Hmm not the right answer"
"Uh how can it not be... And what the hell does this have to do with the armour"
"Sam, if you want to get the armour off, you have to find out the real reason why you fight"
"And what if I don't find the reason?"
"Well you will wear the armour until it has broken on-"
"So all I need to do is brake it?"
"No Sam, if the armour does brake then you die"
"Wha-"
DREAM SKIP
Sam's POV
"Wha-" Wait a minute... Where am I? I was talking to that little dude and now... I look around to see that I am on a mountain, about half way up a mountain. I am so confused... I hate what ever this is! Wait, there's a path. I follow the path as if something was telling me to and as I am descending down this mountain I notice something that looks like another person in armour also walking down this path. I walk faster to try catch up with this person and as I am getting closer I then notice a blanket to the left side of the path, the person in front of me then goes to this blanket and sits down. I decide to run the rest of the way to this person when I notice That's me! I then hear this other person identical to me speak
"Of course I missed you" Who the hell is she talking to? There is no one else there, she seems to be looking at someone who doesn't appear to be there... Or maybe I just can't see them for what ever reason. Nah this person has to be insane
"Why would you even ask me that?" … I wonder who she thinks she is talking to
"I always have and always will, trust me" She then leans down and looks as though she is kissing someone … What the hell is going on? Wait what's happening to the armour? The armour began to sparkle like diamonds and was slowly fading away
