Chapter 7

A/N -Hey guys.. I know I haven't updated in a while, but I am now on a break from school and how many ideas about this story flowing through so hopefully I will have a chance to update again soon. This chapter is pretty short, but cute. I don't own any characters, etc. Thanks guys!

"Hey, babe, pass me my sunscreen?" A lounging Aria drawled. Ezra pushed his sunglasses down his nose and looked at her. Aria looked over at him, Ezra sighing at a sign of his defeat. He handed her the sunscreen and was met with a huge, over-the-top smile from his new bride. He just shook his head and chuckled, lying back on his lawn chair. Aria sighed.

"Isn't this just perfect?"

"Perfect, mmm," Ezra said who had, up to that moment, been dozing off as part of his daily ritual.

"Do my back for me please?"

"Ariaaaaa," Ezra whined. He rolled over onto his side, his back to her.

"Well?" Aria snapped back, a small smile forming at her grumpy husband. Ezra grumbled and sat up reluctantly.

"I hate you." Ezra said, grabbing the sunscreen out of Aria's hands and squeezing some into his hands.

"No you don't silly. You love me." Aria tried not to giggle as she pulled her hair around to the front.

"Nope. Not anymore," he said as he began to rub the sunscreen into Aria's shoulders and back.

"Then why are you here in Mexico, with me?" Aria teased. Ezra finished applying the sunscreen and turned his back to wipe his hands. Not suspecting a thing, he continued with his back to her, reaching back for his towel. She sprang out of her chair and tackled him from the back, showering his shoulders and cheek with kisses. He struggled, but not enough to buck her off, and the couple both started laughing. Aria stopped giggling and starting tickling his sides, which led to Ezra convulsing and Aria nearly falling onto the concrete.

"Mercy, Aria!" Ezra exclaimed, short of breath. He managed to reach his arms out around his back and grab Aria's sides, flipping her over to sit on the lawn chair beside him.

"You're trouble. You're like a kindergartener with of all of this bugging," Ezra chuckled.

"As if you're any better!" Aria exclaimed. "I'm tired, it's hot, leave me allloooonneee." Mocked Aria in her best Ezra voice. Ezra rolled his eyes.

"I guess we can agree we bring out the best in one another," Ezra said sarcastically. Aria just laughed. They lapsed into a comfortable silence.

"Fancy a swim Mr. Fitz?" Aria asked a couple minutes later, feeling the heat of the day.

"Why, perhaps, Mrs. Fitz," Ezra said, standing up and reaching out for Aria. The couple wandered down a concrete pathway to the beach, where the hot sand burned against their feet. Eager to reach the water, Ezra pulled Aria up across his back and made a run for the sea. Aria laughed as she bounced up and down on his back, lightly pounding on his back. Ezra didn't put her down until he felt the crashing waves against his feet, and he started to slow down as the water got higher. Stopping at a height where he knew she could still stand, he placed her down.

"Was that completely necessary?" Aria asked with a chuckle. Ezra tucked a loose strand of hair behind Aria's ear gingerly.

"Completely," Ezra leaned in and whispered in her ear. Aria felt his breath on her neck and shivered in the cool water. Ezra leaned back and put both his hands on Aria's cheek, and the mood between them instantly changed. Aria looked up at Ezra through her long lashes as a small smile appeared on her face. Aria took a step closer to Ezra, and he tipped her face up to look at him.

Ezra leaned his face into Aria's closer, hesitating for just a moment, and then gently pressed his lips to hers. The reaction from Aria was gentle at first, but out there in the water, it wasn't hard for Aria to lose herself in the moment, and she jumped up on Ezra, wrapping her legs around his waist, leaning into the kiss even more. Ezra ran his hands down Aria's back and then up through her hair. He just couldn't believe he was kissing this girl, his new wife, in the middle of the ocean. Only when they had to both come up for air did they stop, and Aria leaned back to float in the water, her legs still wrapped around Ezra's hips. Ezra's arms were firmly on her upper arms, and he moved her side to side in the water. Aria closed her eyes in total bliss.

"How did I get so lucky?" Ezra said softly. Aria hummed.

"You didn't. I did." Aria said slowly, keeping her eyes shut. Ezra laughed quietly.

"Aria Fitz, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I will never stop loving you." At this, Aria opened her eyes, and the love she felt for Ezra was reflected in them. He realized they were misty, and he pulled her upper body out of the water and closer to him again.

"What?" He asked. Aria shook her head.

"I love you. I will say it every day, but I want you to know that every day, it means just the same. It means so much, Ezra." Aria ducked her head and wiped at her eyes, and not even realizing why she was crying, she laughed at herself.

"I love you too." Ezra pulled Aria in for a hug, and he kissed her forehead.

"Ready to head in?" He asked.

"Yeah. This girl's hungrayyy," Aria said, looking up to gauge Ezra's reaction to what she thought had been funny. He shook his head at her and grabbed her hand, walking up through the water towards the beach.

"You know I'm funny," Aria said, squeezing his hand.

"Do I now?"

"Yup."
