Bandits Chapter 5:

The blond prince pulled on the metal bindings and grunted in frustration; he had his hands up the whole time they were there, and the blood was leaving his fingers. 'Damn these chains! Where the hell did they take Merlin too?'

"Damn," he swore out loud. He continued to pull and pull, and he was oblivious to the shadow lurking towards him. Then there was a sound of straws snapping. "Merlin?"

Arthur looked down from the chains.

"No." It was a deeper voice that replied.

Arthur did not see Merlin. No… he saw someone darker, someone larger.

"Prince Arthur, do I spark a memory?"

"Lancelot."

The man smiled and chuckled, he ran his hands through his long brown hair and sighed. Lancelot and walked to Arthur, he kneeled and picked at the chains binding him.

"Lancelot, w-what are you doing here?" Arthur asked. When he felt his wrists free, he lowered his arms and rubbed his bloodied wrists. "Were you captured by the bandits as well?"

"No sire, I… I work for them."

o.o.o.o.o

Merlin had his arms bound above his head. Grant removed the dragonlord's neck piece and smirked.

"My dear Merlin. Good news, You are the last piece of my study. I have perfected the way to take magic away from anything. Even the oh so powerful creature like you." He had a knife in his hands. The sorcerer in green had eyes reflected his evil nature. He stood very close to the warlock.

"What are you going to do this time?" Merlin spat. The knife touched his chest, and he flinched.

"Drain the magic from your body." Grant's long black hair shined in the candle light. "Through pain." Grant pressed on his ornate dagger. He then lifted it up and placed it on the warlock's left cheek.

"Why are you doing this?" Merlin asked. "You have enough power… ow." The knife pierced deeper into his skin. He felt blood dripping from the cut. He looked down, he saw a wind of gold escaping his blood. The golden wind was captured in a bottle in Grant's hands.

"I have enough power… but not enough to take over Camelot." Grant declared. "I will drain everything from you, energy, power, information… everything."

"Information?" Merlin asked. "ah…" He shut his eyes, the knife travelled down to his chin. The damaged cells released another wind of magic.

"Arthur is a pain to deal with, I wonder how you survive his constant stupidity."

"Haha… I don't. He drives me crazy." Merlin chuckled.

o.o.o.o.o

"You… you're working for them… them… as in the bandits?" Arthur raised his eyebrows and widened his eyes.

Lancelot sighed. "Yes I work for the bandits."

Arthur let out a shallow breath. "Explain." He furrowed his brows and went red with anger.

Before Lancelot open his mouth they heard a bloody ear piercing shriek.

"MERLIN!"
