Many nations that were at liberty to accuse one another of witch craft came bearing down on one another, barking accusations and pointing fingers to targeted nation. With furiously gesturing nations, swearing and bellowing out accusations, spittle flew while curses and even death threats were issued. Others were frantic and crying as they were jostling with their own problems; namely their own siblings and state of affairs. Nations sobbed as rebellious teenagers and children fought back against their guardians (some of them self-appointed), while others were fighting for custody over their own siblings and children.
"Stop pulling on her hair!"
"Don't you dare do th – I told you that you'd hurt yourself!"
"How did this happen." moaned Francis as he wept comically over the mahogany table, holding a handheld pocket mirror made out of silver. "It doesn't even look that bad!" Arthur cried, lying through his teeth as he winced over the text message he got from Scotland. Arthur nervously scratched the top of his head as he glanced at the other nations within the meeting room. He had just barely managed to slow everything down. He hadn't shrunk or grown any younger in the past few hours.
"What about me?!" cried Alfred, "I keep getting younger and it doesn't look like it's going to stop!" Alfred was smartly dressed wearing Sealand's old cast offs that Arthur had managed to save and retrieve. Save for the lack of heavy eyebrows and other minor details, Alfred looked exactly like Sealand. However being younger was disadvantageous seeing as that Alfred was even louder and more obnoxious than before. The American grumbled unhappily as he held his glasses in one hand. His eyes had readjusted so that he didn't need them anymore. Turning to Alfred furiously, Arthur stressed through clenched teeth, "We've got that. Would you please just shut it? We don't know how long it's going to take for everyone to revert back to normal and I still have to get everything arranged for you back home, including your old bedroom!" Alfred looked up at Arthur in horror, "You mean I'm staying with you?!" "Naturally! Who else is going to put up with you?!" shot an indignant Arthur who was now seething at the text from Scotland whilst a throbbing vein graced his forehead.
Alfred's jaw hit the floor. "No way! I don't want to go back to eating charcoal!" he screamed whirling in his seat to face Francis pulling desperately at his arm. "Save me Francis. I'm begging you!" To Alfred's great horror and dismay, the French man just continued to sob, all the while looking at his reflection with his mirror. "Why you ungrateful little brat! I spent hours over those bleeding scones! You're an ungrateful spoiled little brat!" screeched Arthur.
Francis moaned softly as he stared at his reflection which was tear stained. "It's nothing that a little salicylic acid and benzyl peroxide can't fix!" Alfred begged pulling at the French man who refused to put away his pocket mirror. The French nation burrowed his face into the palm of his hands. "My perfect complexion! My beautiful face!" cried Francis, feeling his face grow warm with shame. Again he could only just barely peek at his reflection and lament over his complexion, eyeing it with great scrutiny. It was peppered with ahem, skin inflammation and lesions. He hadn't had a break out like this in centuries! He shuddered violently clenching at the little mirror till his knuckles went white. "This is some sort of sick joke." muttered Francis, as he buried his face into his arms. "I say we interrogate each and every person we know as a magic user here."
"Never mind that! You've got to help me! I don't want to end up in the ER again!" screamed Alfred.
"I blame Eyebrows!"
"Excuse me?!"
"What are we going to do? I can't take care of him all over again!"
"What are you complaining about?! I've got a couple of more mouths to feed!"
"Everybody, please just calm - "
*Bang!* "Quiet."
A strikingly tall intimidating figure came stooping in. The temperature within the conference room dropped several degrees as the tall nation begrudgingly came walking in with a visible frown etched into an almost unambiguous expression. Some of the nations visibly stiffened and recoiled at the sight of the Russian nation, who acrimoniously strode to his self-designated chair after kicking the doors of the conference room open. Several nations took note of how much shorter Ivan was, though he still remained as one of the tallest representatives of all personified countries. While biting back a grimace, under his strange and smouldering disposition, his long pale blonde hair visibly obscured his tauntingly belligerent gaze. His clothes now clung to his now tall thin and wiry frame. Unbeknownst to all of the nations, the lanky teen was seen stooping just outside of the room, desperately trying to find any accuse to not go in, before entering the room. He was all too aware of the awkwardness of his present state.
He folded his long thin legs underneath the table and propped his head against the palm of his hand. Ivan pointedly stared at Ludwig, who began to clear his throat to speak. "Thank you Ivan." said Germany dryly, as he narrowed his eyes briefly at Alfred who looked like he was going to make a scathing reply. The little American pouted angrily. Straightening himself and clearing his voice, Germany boomed, "As you can see, some sort of witch craft has befallen us. As it stands today, it seems only those within this very room are the ones who are in need of assistance. "
"N-not everyone." muttered Arthur who stowed his cellphone away. He didn't dare read the rest of his text messages from Scotland, because they were all fairly mature and explicitly violent. To honestly be fair, he was somewhat relieved. Scotland couldn't care less what happened to the others and this way he couldn't possibly be blamed in any way for such an international mishap. He could feel cold sweat run down his back as his eyes swept over every nation in the room. Like any politician when things go sour, he wasn't going to mention his part to play in this event and reasoned how this would naturally resolve on its own, he felt justified in his very own right that it would be fine to keep his silence. He obtusely stuck his nose up into the air. It wasn't as if it were life threatening…
"It's not so bad!" laughed Spain who was cuddling a rather small and angry Romano kicking his small feet. "We can spend more quality time together now eh Romano?" A small child with a mop of reddish brown hair and a single curl growled back at the positively beaming Spaniard. "Stop squeezing me so hard!" came a sharp little cry as an angry Romano squirmed within the Spaniards arms. The small Italian protested angrily as his little dress and apron was ruffled and creased at the edges.
"We do not know if this is something fundamentally harmless in or itself, or that it's even a reflection of conflict within our own people. We do not even know if it's due to changes within legislations or jurisdiction within our own governments of which we represent, or even changes due to the global financial economy. So naturally we are to take extreme precautionary measures and have each and every one of us monitored. As of now, it's only our physical health and wellbeing that we should be thoroughly concerned." continued Ludwig, "I am aware that we are short staffed and that this is a hindrance to political and economic exchanges. Most of us have already notified our leaders and those that have yet to or unable to…it is of outmost importance that they immediately do, and help those that cannot receive help in notifying their own leaders, so that word is sent quickly." Here the silence grew heavily despite being punctured by cries, complaints, and retorts. "Hey! What about us? We're trying to get custody over our own brothers and sisters! "cried one of the nation, trying to restrain a little brother from leaving his seat.
The German nation ploughed on, "The nations that intend to be guardians to their self-appointed or designated beneficiaries will require permission reciprocally from each of our respective bosses. These nations will hold responsibility over the welfare of the nations that are placed under their care. As for custody, that is a more complicated matter and a subject that we will hold conferences between multiple parties and the nation whose wellbeing that's placed within their care." He was startled when something tugged at the ends of his suit.
"Ve~ I'm hungry. Do you know if there's any pasta." chirped a little Lovino who could barely see the top the grand table whilst standing on a chair. He was the splitting image of Romano save for the little smile that graced the little Italian's cherub like face. With doting little curl in place the child bounced happily within his seat looking up at the German nation imploringly. "Not now, but we will. " Said Ludwig gently, patting the small child lightly on the head, "this will all be over in a few minutes." Lovino giggled and nodded, looking back adoringly up towards the large German. Ludwig felt his face grow warm.
Romano was going to shout when the Spaniard simply grabbed both his cheeks and began squeezing them. "Let go!" came a muffled cry.
"So we're just gonna do nothing? This meeting was useless!" sneered a kid with silver hair and scarlet eyes who huffed obnoxiously at of Ludwig, sulking away in a chair next to him, as Gilbird hopped excitedly on the table. "I should've known that we were just gonna wait it out…this sucks." He scowled at the way his sleeves were hanging. He didn't know how some of the Asian nations couldn't be distracted by such large and swinging sleeves.
"Bruder, please bear with us. We have no idea if this could be anything other than witch craft."
"Easy for you to say! I can't drink anymore!" cried the little German kid pulling at his hair. Ludwig sighed- all concerns of Prussia ripping out tufts of his own hair immediately had the larger German nation prying small hands away from silver locks. "Let go. You're going to hurt yourself." Ludwig felt a pang of guilt and pity towards his brother. Ludwig silently bemoaned acknowledging that he just might have to put up with a devil in one arm and an angel on the next.
Kiku sighed as he surveyed the room. From the corner of his eyes he stared. Infant Nini was within Yong Soo's arms, resting his tiny head against Koreans' chest as he was nestled safely out of view (save for top of his tiny head). He felt a twinge of annoyance at how Yong Soo simply gloated having the tiny nation prefer his company over others. It was most unnerving. Most unnatural. The Korean nation looked up almost ignoring the Japanese nation who spoke exasperatingly, "Maybe we should put him in the room next door? We don't want the other children to wake–"He immediately stopped speaking as he stared as the Korean nation's expression turn sour staring at whatever it was that made him take offense. Looking towards the direction that the Korean nation was glowering at, the nation froze.
The Russian nation had pretty much a deranged predatory gaze fixated on the Korean nation who selfishly guarded Nini's presence from the other nations. "What do you want?" Korea sneered, almost daring the Russian nation to do something.
Immediately the Russian flew from his seat and launched himself over the table, arms stretched out to grab. At the same time the Korean nation kicked his chair back and a peculiar sound punctured the room.
Silence followed with dropping jaws and pretty much swears and threats began to hollow out the room. "Japan! Put your sword away!" roared Ludwig who slammed both his hands down. The nations jumped and his roar awoke several nations and made them bawl. "Damnit, I just got her to sleep too!" swore another nation.
The reverberating sound that went 'shunk' at the very second of Ivan's launched 'assault' was the sound of Kiku's kantana embedding itself into the table. However Ludwig found his voice faltering at what almost seemed like a livid expression on Japan's face that was merely inches away from Ivan's face; who lays flat against the table, his chin propped on the oak table with a smile planted firmly in place despite of the sword that was only a few centimetres away from his nose. He grinned smiling as sweetly as possible, ignoring the sword and glowering nation before him, and tilted his head to have a better view of Korea and the object of his affections being taken away from him.
Said object of his desire had woken up because of Ludwig and Yong Soo, was now crying in the South Korean's arms. "Aww, he's crying. Let me see my little comrade." simpered the Russian nation who looked imploringly up at the Japanese nation's smouldering gaze. The Japanese nation's eyes flashed as he now stood towering over the nation who continued to lie on the table.
"Eh? You mean China's been affected too? Let us see!" said Alfred who looked shocked as he tried to get a better look at the infant by standing on his seat. "Get down and walk over there if you want to see him." said Arthur, getting up to see the little nation. Immediately Alfred jumped down and ran past Arthur towards Yong Soo who looked like he didn't want to share. "Let me see him! I've never seen him as a kid before!" Alfred cried putting his hands out almost as if asking for candy. "Course you haven't. He's over 4000 years old." Said Arthur walking up to Korea and looking excited to see the nation, he reached out to hold the tiny nation when Yong Soo retreated several steps.
"Back off eyebrows - those are contagious!" shouted Yong Soo cradling Yao away from reaching hands.
"What the bloody hell are you talking about?!" screamed Arthur, shaking and spluttering as he grew flushed with anger and embarrassment. Tiny China cried even louder at Arthur's angry outburst. "I don't want him looking like Hong Kong!" shouted Yong Soo, who was gripping onto the tiny nation with wide eyed fear, bouncing the little nation in his arms to comfort him.
"Don't be ridiculous and give him to me!" Arthur stomped towards Yong Soo to take the nation away.
"Never daze!"
Meanwhile, The Japanese nation looked down at the nation before him. "I don't think that you should be looking after him. A man carrying such a dangerous sword shouldn't be taking care of any children." Ivan said softly, pointedly looking up to the Japanese nation with a large smile that stretches from ear to ear. Kiku stared coldly back, unflinching from such an unimpressive display of hard power. Obsidian bore down on the Russian nation while violet glittering orbs merrily reciprocated with just the same amount of hostility. Japan's leg still on the table and sword still sheathed in oak, body taunt and his hands gripping tightly on to the handle of his kantana, he replied "I could say the same for a man carrying a lead pipe that he uses to bludgeon others." The Japanese nation very slowly began to pull his sword out, his eyes narrowed almost in contempt.
"I said QUIET!" growled Ludwig, stressing through clenched teeth as he was being reprimanded by other nations and scolded for waking some of the children up from their naps – while fussing over a crying Feliciano who had been frightened into tears after his outburst. Gilbert made some great efforts to climb down from his chair when Ludwig grabbed a sleeve. "Where do you think you're going?"
"If it isn't so obvious, I'm going to Hogwarts. Somebody's bound to have some cure for this. The Professors from Potions or Transfiguration should have it anyways."
"That's pure fiction!"
"Yeah?! Well what do you know?! We're personified nations! As if that makes any more sense! I'm going to Britain and getting on platform nine and a fifth!"
"That's platform nine and three quarters! And you aren't going to Britain! Arthur! Deal with him!"
However, Arthur rounded on the Korean who had adopted a fighting stance while tucking Nini carefully against his body. "I don't know what you've done to Hong but you are not going to touch Aniki!" There was no way he was letting the Brit need the infant."You're off your rocker. I wouldn't harm a hair on either of the boys!" Arthur snarled, itching to bring out his wand and hex the Korean. "HA! And what do you call those grisly things on his forehead? You could scare caterpillars with those!"
After sheathing his sword, Kiku immediately came between the bickering British man and obtuse Korean and simply plucked the tiny nation from Yong Soo's arms. He whispered almost lovingly to the tiny nation who slowly became quiet, blinking tears from his large round eyes. "Let me see!" cried Alfred on tippy toes. Kiku bent down and showed the tiny infant to the young nation. "He's so small! "cried Alfred looking at the tiny nation who looked back at him all - though frightened while resting his tiny head against the chest of the Japanese nation. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." Kiku replied quietly. "What are you talking about? He's so small that he could sleep in a shoe box!" he said a matter of factly, "I can still at least ride a bike and maybe if I drink more milk than he does, I can stop shrinking. And then I'll be myself again!" "When then I guess you shouldn't be playing with him seeing as you're far too big for him." replied Kiku who gently played with the infants silken strands of hair. Nini paid no attention but looked back at the American. Alfred pouted angrily, "but he's so small! He needs someone big like me to watch over him."
"I could." immediately offered the Russian who was still lying on his stomach on the table all the while staring at small Alfred and tiny Yao. "No!" shouted Yong Soo and Arthur who both paused in mid argument to yell at the much younger Russian nation. Ivan snarled angrily and began to chant ominously all the while staring at the nations that were determined to separate him from China. Felix clucked his tongue looking thoroughly put out as a small Lativa began to cry earnestly, "Like, that's just what I needed you prat!" Francis sighed dolefully as he continued to hand out tissues to the angry Pol and offer them to the rest of the other nations with crying children. "Felix, just leave him to us." Eduard offered trying to pull Lativa towards himself and Ravis, when Felix butted in, "Like no thanks. I'm gonna raise Toris and I'm so going to like, dress him up myself!" "B-but I really believe that we should be the ones to raise him." stuttered Eduard while Ravis nodded timidly. "Trust me. This is going to be good. I've got the cutest little green dress that'll bring the colour of his eyes out!"
Meanwhile, Japan laughed politely at the positively confident little American. "He could eat McDonalds with me." Alfred said excitedly, "and we can get happy meals!" Kiku froze mid contemplative smile as he shuddered at the very idea of Yao growing up to eat like Alfred did. "Er…"Kiku was at a loss of words when Yong Soo blanched, "that's as bad as eating Eyebrow's cooking."
"You uncultured little twit!" came the shriek.
*Tzwee Tzwee*
Nations all looked towards the source of noise and even Russia turned his head.
"Shut up or I'm firing on all of you."
"Ah! I thought I had confiscated all of your firearms brother!" cried Liechtenstein, who was now taking the gun away from the hands of a child with an overly large white bonnet and green sweater, who stared back undaunted at the other nations around him. "I'm sorry, sorry!" cried Liechtenstein, apologizing to every country that would dare to make eye contact with her and to everyone else in the room. Germany groaned and would've buried his face into his hands if he weren't holding onto Gilbert and Feliciano.
"It was nice of you to bring a silencer with you Mr. Zwingli." noted Ivan, "the children won't be as frightened now."
….What am I writing? After my uber long break(s), I re-read some of my stuff and I'm really embarrassed…it's really all crap. And chapter 2 which I wrote 3-5 years ago, I was weird on you guys…sorry sweeties. I'll leave the chapter up as a testament of just what may happen in the future. I know I'm also not original and I guess I do much better with horror and in other genres ( )…stuff I haven't even posted up..
I'll maybe edit it. But I want something perverted. Why? Cause I haven't posted anything perverted on FFnet. Ever. Swearing yes. But nothing perverted…
Well I must thank everyone and anyone that's taken the time to read my stuff. And I apologize from the bottom of my heart that I'm not creative enough and that it isn't good or well written. But, I must thank you for such the favourites, alerts, and reviews! I was blushing heavily reading the reviews and I'm still speechless (I also realized I forgot to thank the ones who follow my stuff on alert- so once again, thank you!). I just…love you guys..I hope you guys weren't too severely disappointed. I just hope I don't ever disappoint you guys (ha! fat chance though). However, I'll be very impressed if anyone's managed to read past chapter 1. Extremely so.
Oh, the stress of not wanting to disappoint you guys is getting heavier again…well, I hope you guys like it!I would love to answer you guys individually but tell me if I should in in A/N? I'm not really social and I'm not good at explanations. I just write. I'm not very interactive. So if you've reviewed (and what not) please tell me if I can reply to you in the A/N.
Also I did give Francis acne. Why? Because I had the power to and one of the Allies had to suffer from it. Reason why their bodies and mentalities changed and seem so different from one another? Well I like to believe that the rate of change within their bodies and mentalities (and the select number of nations that will continually go through such changes) depend on how they consumed whatever Arthur/Yong Soo had concocted and the quantity... I also didn't want them being all mini at the same time.
Oh, and I don't own Harry Potter of course.
Oh, and Happy holidays you all! Make sure to be careful of the weather. And please take care of your health and safety too!
EDIT: I've been deleting things because my previous stuff were from um..about three years old I think? 2010? I'm moving things and deleting stuff. I think I've sorta matured and I was seriously suffering from what I'd written years ago (even more so than I usually was over my writing). So I just wanted to say, thank you to all those curious readers that read starting from the first chapter till this (I deleted chapter 1 and 2) and I apologize if my stuff was no good. I'm changing things around and I encourage you to read the many fanfics out there that'll hopefully satisfy you. I'm still sorting my stuff out. Also a big warning again: I update slowly and I write according to how I feel. I can't churn anything out whether I'm pressured to or not. Like I said before, I don't feel comfortable with how history's interpreted and what's supposedly historically canon? I don't necessarily agree with. I've seen enough fandoms arguing with one another and arguments over historical accuracy. It's depressing.
Ok, back on topic, I'm going to make some references on how things have happened. However, for now, it's just best to ignore or roll with the crap I put up. I've also decided to try to respond to reviewers.
So! Happy new years and I wish you the best of your health, happiness, and future pursuits
