Thanks for the reviews guys! If you do have questions then please feel free to PM me or leave it in a review. I've got a few comments about the previous story (what happened in Sound) and how it will play in this story. I haven't forgotten about it, trust me! Right now Sakura is trying to deal with present, time having moving forward and the fact she has a child. As Sakura eventually deals that, then the past will be revisited. As for Kakashi, well I decided from almost the beginning he would play a big role in the story, its why he popped up in the previous chapters. Love triangle? Who knows!

As for Sasuke, would you like to see a more aggressive Sasuke? Bear in mind its five years past and he's been a doting father too.

Oh and has for Sakura's chakra cords being cut, it was Kabuto who had done so when she was first captured in Sound.

After spending a busy couple of days going back and forward between the hospital and studying in her room, Sakura had finally solved the mystery of the boy's illness. In simple terms, the condition was a mutated form of an already known disease. Using raw ingredients, Sakura handmade the medicine herself from scratch at home, it had taken her several attempts to get the right proportion of ingredients and at times, she thought it would be impossible to produce. Now at the hospital Sakura had been nervously waiting a few hours, the medicine had slowly started to take effect. It was a like a small miracle.

'He isn't completely out of the woods yet. But just this reaction to the medicine is a great sign. With regular doses he should make a full recovery.' Sakura spoke to the boy's mother, Mai.

'I don't have the words to express how much I want to thank you.' The older woman said with tears flowing from her eyes. 'You've saved his life. Without you…My son…' The woman clung onto Sakura's arm.

'You don't need to thank me. Really. Actually you've helped me too, I've been lost for a while but now...' Smiling she scratched the back of her head in embarrassment.

Leaving the mother alone to spend private time with her son, Sakura was soon stopped by the head doctor of the hospital. A person she already knew well; Shinji Ryuzaki. He had greatly aged during the last few years, proving the fact that there could be doubt being the head of a hospital truly was a stressful job, his once only black hair was peppered with grey hairs.

'Sakura, if you have a moment, I would like to discuss a matter with you in my office.' The 40 year old man said.

'Sure…' Feeling weary Sakura was unsure what was going to happen next, would she get in trouble for get involved?

After walking in the office, Shinji offered her a seat and a glass of water as he sat behind the desk. 'After hearing about your injuries, I had been deeply troubled by the loss of a great medic ninja such as yourself. I can only imagine the grief it has caused you. But I have a proposition for you, it's entirely your decision whether to accept or not.'

Sakura's heart skipped a beat.

'After see your results at diagnosing that patient's illness, I can only marvel at your medical skill and expertise. I want to offer you a position as a researcher at the hospital; primarily you will be diagnosing and creating new medicines for diseases. I know you would have preferred a much more direct role but without jutsu this is impossible. However it would be an absolute tragedy for the medical profession to let someone like you go... At least think about it, you still will be saving people's lives.'

She didn't have to think about it. True, being a doctor was her dream and now that was a dream which could never be fulfilled. But that didn't mean she had to give up on everything. No, as she helped the boy using her knowledge and she could also help many more lives by doing the same.

'I would love to accept your offer.' Sakura was touched by his high opinion of her.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Really feeling as if she was on cloud nine, Sakura decided she would definitely celebrate her new job in some way. There was a skip in her step as she walked around the shopping district of Konoha. Heading to the flower shop, she spotted Ino working there, who was moving her hands in a motion to tell her to come over.

'Hey forehead! It's been a while since I've seen you. You know, you gotta let yourself out of your cage every now and again.' Ino smirked while standing behind the counter.

'It's nice to see you too Ino-pig! You know I've got some good news and I wanted to celebrate.'

Ino didn't fail to miss Sakura's more upbeat attitude, it made her happy knowing Sakura was more happier. Maybe Kakashi did have a word with her after all and she was right to speak with him. 'So? What is it? Don't keep me waiting.'

'I've been offered a job as a researcher at the hospital. I'll work on all the front line research of new diseases!' Sakura beamed unable to contain her joy.

This didn't sound too appealing to Ino, all she could imagine were microscopes and little dishes with chemicals on them. No, actually to Ino, this was her idea of job hell. So she couldn't really personally understand Sakura's joy, but she remembered all the effort Sakura had put in as a medic ninja and how much that meant to her, so at least she could understand why Sakura was happy about it.

'That's great! I demand we celebrate for your new job! Immediately! It has to be tonight. I refuse to take no for an answer!' Ino demanded, before Sakura could cut in Ino carried on talking. 'I'll tell everyone.' Using her mind jutsu, Sakura saw Ino quickly telling everyone about a meet up happening tonight.

'It's a shame Naruto and Hinata are away, but there's no way we are gonna wait a month for them!' She fist pumped the air.

I guess I forgotten how forceful Ino can be sometimes…

'You better dress for the occasion forehead! I don't want to see you looking like a tramp tonight! There will be guys there! Guys!' Ino said while playing with her long blonde locks.

Sakura just let out an awkward laugh in response.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The night quickly came and Sakura found herself sitting between Ino and Kakashi . All of the ninja the same age as her had gathered to the tonkatsu restaurant. Ino like usual was pestering her with a hundred different types of questions while Kakashi just silently sat beside her adding a funny comment here and there. Sakura was surprised when Kakashi walked into the restaurant, since he wasn't one for social events unless they were important ones.

'Sasuke isn't here.'

Shikamaru scowled in response elbowing Chouji in the ribs. 'Hey Chouji, Don't talk about him here.'

'Why? Isn't Sasuke-OWW!' Chouji started to speak until Shikamaru gave him another jab.

Sakura just pretended she was unable to hear them from down the other end of the table.

Everyone knows about me leaving Sasuke's house…. Everyone thinks we were together as a couple… Were we together? Me and Sasuke? I don't even know…

Letting out a long depressing sigh, Ino quickly changed the subject 'You know, Sakura saved a boy's life already? It's barely been any time since she's been awake from her coma and she's already saving lives. That's our Sakura!'

Hearing the cheers and hoots coming from the table made Sakura blush. She didn't really think of herself as special but it was nice to know she was well regarded by her friends. She felt Kakashi's gloved hand rub the top of her head, leaving her hair in a mess.

'You're doing a great job. Keep at it.'

Sakura felt so warm inside, it was just like the old days. How she missed the laughter and busy vibe of Konoha. Didn't she spend her time in Sound dreaming of moments like these? Now they were real and happening and most important of all she wasn't dead like Itachi or Kabuto. Back then, she thought it would be impossible to get out of the situation alive. Itachi, Kabuto… Just thinking about their sacrifices for her made Sakura feel guilty about how she had been acting recently. Enough sadness, it was time to move on.

'Thanks everyone.' She really meant it this time.

Time passed and it seemed the supply of food was endless. More chatting and laughter filled the restaurant, including Sakura's own. Feeling a tap on the shoulder, she turned around to see Kiba with a wolfish grin holding a tray of Sake bottles.

'I got you some sake.' Kiba smirked. 'It isn't really a celebration unless you have a drink.' He placed two bottles in front of her at the table.

Sakura looked mesmerised by the little Sake bottles, how was she going to get out of this? She took a sideward glance at Kakashi sitting beside her. 'Ah Kiba, it was really nice of you but I don't drink anymore.'

Kiba's face slightly turned into a scowl, obviously displeased by the response he received 'Sakura let your hair down! It's supposed to be a fun night and I got these for you…'

He really isn't going to let up on this… Ah, damn…

Moving her hand forward to reach the bottle, she soon felt a warm liquid staining her top and lap. Kakashi had 'accidently' slipped his plate causing the bottles to knock over and spill down the table. While she was annoyed at the mess on her, she knew why Kakashi had done it. She glanced at Kakashi with the best thank you face she could make and she was sure he acknowledged it.

'Kakashi!' Ino cried. 'Look at what you've done!' It was ironic Ino was the one who looked the most upset out of everyone.

'Sorry Sakura, I've gotta mind these clumsy hands.' Kakashi chuckled.

Trying her best to not laugh out loud, Sakura couldn't believe Kakashi would say those words. He was the most skilful ninja she knew and out of all the things you could call Kakashi 'clumsy' was about one of the last of them.

'It's okay. I'm sure it was an accident.' Sakura chimed going along with the farce. 'Well, guys as fun as this evening was I really ought to get back home now. I'm starting my new job tomorrow and I have Keizo and Sasuke round for the evening.'

Making her way around the table thanking each person for coming to celebrate her job and also to say goodbye, Sakura was slowly walking down the road to her flat with a big smile on her face. Today had been a really wonderful day.

'Sakura! Wait…'

Kakashi?

'Sensei! Are you following me now?' She teased.

'What can I say? You've caught me out.' Kakashi smirked. 'I wanted to talk to you properly since I didn't get a chance tonight.'

'Well… Ino likes to talk.' Sakura walked up to Kakashi and grabbed his arm with hers. 'Let's go to mine and I'll even make you a cup to tea.'

Sticking true to her word, Sakura did make Kakashi tea before she changed out of her sake stained clothes.

'Sensei! Thanks for getting me out of that situation! It was a close one!' Sakura shouted hoping he would hear her from beyond the door. She heard a voice in response, but it was too muffled for Sakura to understand.

After changing into her white PJ's she sat down next to Kakashi on the sofa.

'You're checking up on me again, aren't you Kakashi-sensei?' Sakura said smiling looking into her tea mug. 'You don't really need to…'

'Can't I spend time with my favourite student?' He cheekily grinned.

I swear that's your favourite sentence…

'Sensei… I'm really happy about my new job! Things are definitely looking up!' Sakura beamed. Even if he was checking up on her, Kakashi would never admit to it and anyway it wasn't much of a problem since she loved his company.

Should I bring it up? Should I ask about you and Sasuke?

'I'll get to help so many people. I can't wait until Naruto gets back and I can tell him all about it!'

No. Sakura, you deserve to have a happy day…

'I'm sure Naruto will love your stories.'

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Today was the normal day Sakura would have Keizo , except she had told Keizo to bring his dad along as well. At the time she didn't mind if she saw Sasuke but now she half regretted her decision. Things with Sasuke were always so difficult; maybe if they could just have on civil conversation then it would be fine. But what usually happened was that Sakura would talk by herself followed by a few 'hn's' and on the rare occasion a question.

Sasuke just isn't the talkative type…

She hadn't really had the time to think about her feelings about the man but it was an undeniable fact that he would be a constant presence in her life.

Maybe with a bit more time, I'll talk to him about the past. Eventually I'll sort things out but just not now, it's too soon…

Eventually they came over to the apartment and ate dinner together. Sakura didn't realise she missed the atmosphere of all three of them eating together, it was much better than eating alone. Much to her surprise Sasuke seemed interested to know about her job and what it would entail.

'So you won't be required to leave the village?' Yes, Sasuke voice was the usual monotone but Sakura was glad for the question at least.

'No, no, nothing like that. I'll be stuck in my office for the whole time. All the equipment will be there and it would be unrealistic to move it from place to place.'

'Uh, mummy… I want to show you something.' Sakura could see Keizo was holding something beneath the table but had no idea what it was.

'I would love to see it.' Sakura smiled at Keizo.

Keizo handed her a piece of card, looking at it reminded her of the past, it was his report card from the academy. It was covered in A* and good comments by the teachers, the most prominent marking of all was his 1st rank out of the whole year.

'Keizo! This is amazing! Well done! I'm so proud of you.' She quickly got out of her chair to cuddle Keizo. 'Mummy's little genius.'

'It's no big deal. Everyone is weak anyway.' Keizo said blushing.

'No big deal? It's a big deal! Keizo, your ranked first out of everyone in the year!'

'It's… It's…expected of an Uchiha.' He said while being pressed against Sakura's body.

Angrily she looked towards Sasuke who didn't seem to acknowledge her look in the slightest.

What kind of Uchiha nonsense has he been filling your head with?

'It doesn't matter. Uchiha or not. And… your just as much a Haruno as an Uchiha.' Sakura said while kissing the top of his head, from the corner of her eye she could see Sasuke frown at her words.

Well at least that got a reaction out of him…

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

It had been two weeks since Sakura started her new job; soon Naruto would be back from his honeymoon with Hinata.

I wonder where all this time has gone so quickly… It only seemed like yesterday when I was pregnant with Keizo.

Realising daydreaming wasn't the best thing to be doing at work, Sakura started to re-look at some analysis papers before she heard a knock at the door.

'Come in.' She didn't even bother to look who it was, lab assistants would come in and out of her office all the time, so it was logical to just assume it was one of them.

'Sakura.' That was an unexpected voice.

'Sasuke.' He was dressed in his usual ANBU outfit, smiling she said. 'It's nice to see you. What brings you here?'

She only ever saw Sasuke on the odd occasion nowadays, mostly because her time was spent working in the lab. Almost the only times she saw him was if he was dropping Keizo off or she was spending time at his house with Keizo. Even then, they hadn't really spoken apart from the usual 'hello' and 'goodbye.' Sasuke seemed like an ever distant figure to her lately.

'I wanted to see your workplace.'

'Oh.' Sakura let out nervous laughter in response. 'Well, here it is the great medicine factory of Konoha.'

'Hn.' Sasuke was surveying everything with his dark onyx eyes.

A few moments of silence passed while Sakura continued to watch Sasuke looking around. Finally Sasuke broke the quiet atmosphere of the room 'How… are you dealing with things?'

Eh? Her mind literally shrieked. Sasuke never ever asked questions about her wellbeing.

'Well...' Sakura could feel her face becoming slightly red. 'To be honest, I found things really hard at first but now I'm okay… I think…'

Why am I acting like Hinata right now? I need to get a grip! But I just can't start talking to Sasuke about my feelings. He isn't the feeling type at all!

'Good.'

Good? Who is this person?

'Sas-'

'Sak-'

Both had spoken at the same time, cutting each other off. An awkward tension started to rise in the room. Sakura knew Sasuke wasn't the type to waste time on small details or random chitchat, so this left her wondering what he really wanted.

'Is there something I can help you with?' Today she would be as blunt as Sasuke.

'Come back home,' came the even blunter response.

'…' Sakura didn't know how to respond.

'Just how long are you going to make me wait? It's been long enough.' His severe black eyes seemed to have frozen Sakura on the spot.

'I haven't…I didn't mean…' Sakura couldn't stop tripping on her words. 'You don't have to wait…'

I didn't think Sasuke would be waiting for me… And home… I never thought of Sasuke's house as my home… Have I misunderstood Sasuke?

'Tch.' Sasuke only made an angry sound in response to display his annoyance.

'Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I've just been so busy with work; I haven't had the chance to think about much else.'

If Sasuke is making an effort to try and be nice, then I should do the same…

'Keizo misses not seeing you every day.' It was left unspoken that he, too, should also be included in the sentence.

'Ah…. Well…. If it isn't too much trouble, I would like some more time until I make my decision.'

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Sasuke's latest visit left a deep impact on Sakura, once again she had been thrown back in the world of confusion. She had spent two days with thoughts running wild in her mind. What exactly was Sasuke to her? What was she going to do with Sasuke? Would she go back and live with him again?

I won't deny I'm attracted to him, I always have been and I don't think that will ever change. But he… raped me. It's unforgivable and I won't forgive.

If only she had never been kidnapped to Sound, then the situation wouldn't exist but that was just wishful thinking. In the beginning, she had really hated Sasuke with all her heart but with time it was clear she didn't hate him so much any more, if at all. He had proved to be a good father to Keizo and undoubtedly a changed person from the Sasuke at Sound.

Maybe I should talk to him about what happened in the past. If I could just try and understand whatever was going in his head, I could move on. But , it's just… he is just so unapproachable and I can't really go up to him and ask 'Hey Sasuke why did you rape and beat me?'

But it was only until now Sakura realised she was only thinking about her feelings and had been the entire time. What did Sasuke think about her? How did he feel about her?

I know he looks after me because I'm the mother to his child. But is there anything else than that?

Maybe it was a weird situation, asking your sensei for relationship advice but Sakura couldn't think of anyone better. Kakashi knew her and Sasuke very well, so anything statements he made would be informed ones at least. Anyway, Sakura could tell Kakashi had been sneakily backhandedly asking her questions about their relationship for weeks now.

He asks me about Keizo and then about Sasuke… It wouldn't be that strange if I asked him would it?

Sakura decided to bite the bullet and do it. First she asked him questions about Sasuke generally to try and downplay the importance of her questions. Eventually, the questions became bolder and bolder until she asked the question which she needed to know the answer most of all.

'Do you think Sasuke loves me?'

'Love? I suppose only he could answer that question. But it's as clear as day... he's completely devoted to you. Even I was surprise at first... But now it all makes sense.'

'Makes sense?' Sakura questioned, it might have been obvious to him but it sure wasn't for her.

'The reason for Sasuke's darkness.'

'Well?' Now she was starting to get snappy.

'The thing most important in this world for Sasuke is family. It's his everything. When his family were killed, he lost meaning in the world which eventually led him down the path of darkness. But now he has family again, let's say, the light in his world has finally returned.' Kakashi let out a cheesy grin.

'Do you-' About to ask another question, Kakashi cut her off before she could finish.

'I'm the wrong person. You already know who you should ask.'

Sakura let out a sigh of defeat. Her questions had pushed Kakashi too far and she knew he wouldn't answer anymore. But speaking to Kakashi helped guide her decisions. Sakura would make more of an effort be nicer to Sasuke but she wouldn't let the situation go back to how it was before.

I know Sasuke asked me to live with him again…But…It's just too soon for me to answer… once I can hold myself up again…as equal…only as an equal… I'll answer him…

Taking a deep breath, Sakura uttered the fatal words, 'I want to live with you Kakashi-sensei.'

Utterly speechless, it took a few minutes for Kakashi to properly process what Sakura had just said to him, sometimes wearing a mask that covered your face was very useful.

'Are you sure that's a good idea? There's nothing wrong with where you live now.' Kakashi tried to be as nice as possible; he didn't want to upset Sakura.

'To be honest, I don't really like living alone… I feel like I'm more tempted to drink alone because I know no-one is there to judge me. Having you around sensei just makes me feel more positive and less likely to drink.' Sakura poured her heart out hoping Kakashi would understand.

'…'

Trying to convince Kakashi, Sakura blurted 'I promise it won't be for long. Just until I save enough for a deposit on my own place.'

'Is there something wrong with your place?'

'No. No. It's nothing like that. The apartment belongs to Sasuke, everything I've had so far he has given to me. But I don't want to live like that; I want my own apartment paid for with my own money from my own job.'

Sakura is trying to establish independence from Sasuke… Living on her own terms…

Kakashi internally groaned, he couldn't deny her that. Weakly he responded 'you can stay… Temporarily.'

Smiling Sakura roughly bear hugged Kakashi ' Yes! I knew you would understand!'

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Looking at her wardrobe Sakura then looked at her opened empty big bag on the side of her bed and wondered what the best items to take with her were. After all she had decided taking too many things would be impractical and plus she didn't want Kakashi to feel as if she was invading his space by bringing a mountains worth of stuff.

Maybe the black dress was the best first choice…

'What are you doing?' Quickly Sakura span around to see Sasuke standing right behind her. Why was he always appearing out of nowhere? It felt as if she was being stalked or something…

Knowing there was no way to deal with the situation apart from telling the truth, Sakura did just that and told him she had planned to go and live with Kakashi temporarily. Already knowing Sasuke would have a bad reaction to the news, she attempted to mentally prepare herself for a verbal onslaught.

'Why?' Sasuke asked unemotionally.

Why was such a simple sounding word but it asked for much more complicated answers. Aware of Sasuke's impatient gaze, Sakura gave the best answer she could come up with in 30 seconds. 'Because Kakashi-sensei is helping me and I feel safe around him!'

Maybe Sakura thought she had given the wrong answer as she saw Sasuke's face darken in response. 'What is that supposed to mean?' He growled deeply in a low tone.

'I said, what the hell is that supposed to mean?' He was turning angrier by the second.

'Ummm…He protects me?' This was turning into the most uncomfortable situation, but still no matter what happened Sakura refused to change her mind.

Is she actually being serious? I can't believe this…

'And I haven't? I've been caring for you over five years! You didn't feed and wash yourself!' He angrily barked at her.

Sudden guilt washed over Sakura, she hadn't really appreciated that fact at all. Sasuke had done so much more than what she had given him credit for. After what happened at Sound, she had just simply labelled him as a bad person and conveniently ignored all the good things he had done. Sakura just didn't have it in her heart to fight with him after he had said that.

'Sasuke just get out. I'm not going to argue with you anymore.' Frustrated at his lack of attempt to even try to leave, Sakura started to physically push him towards the door. 'Out!' But as much as she pushed, he didn't budge one inch, it was useless without her ninja powers. Despite this, Sakura refused to give up and started to clench at his clothes. What she didn't see was Sasuke's foot swiping across her's causing her to fall on the bed, with her tightly grasping onto his clothes, Sasuke followed her on the bed almost immediately after.

'Sasuke. Get off me!' She struggled to get up off the bed with Sasuke's body on top of her.

'You shouldn't rub yourself against a man like that. It sends the wrong kind of message.' He spoke in a dark sensual tone.

Seeing her face turn bright red in response Sasuke inwardly smiled, she could be so cute at times. Not realising what he was doing, like it was an instinctual action, Sasuke pulled her lips to his in a searing kiss.

'Sas-' Sakura tried to protest against his lips but it wasn't working out too well. Before she knew it, she too was wholly enveloped in the kiss. Enjoying the sensations for a while, Sakura snapped out of her daze, she wouldn't let herself be controlled by Sasuke.

'Stop it! It's enough!' She vainly attempted to push him off her chest.

Immediately Sasuke moved his arms to snatch her wrists, forcing her arms to go above her head by holding her wrists in place against the bed. 'Don't tell me you were so naïve to not realise what type of man you was getting involved with. It's far too late for you to be anything else but mine.' His dark intense gaze felt as if it was penetrating the inner core of her body.

'What are you talking about? Just let me go…' Sakura was confused by the words coming out of him mouth. Be his? When did Sasuke start to talk like that?

'You're so dishonest, Sakura. Look at yourself.' Taking time to slowly trail his tongue down her cheek, Sasuke whispered into her ear 'panting and getting flushed beneath me doesn't mean no to me. Your body is much more honest.'

I can't let him treat me like this; I have to stand up for myself. But…

'Sasuke, please…' She struggled against his tight grip on her wrists. 'You're scaring me.'

A small dark chuckle escaped Sasuke's lips. 'Scared?' He softly whispered in her ear, making the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. 'Should I scare you for real? If that's what you're in to I'd be happy to oblige.'

Too scared to move, Sakura lay there frozen in place breathing erratically. Memories of Sound started to flow in her mind, she was afraid of being hurt again.

'You're getting off on this aren't you?' He moved his body to slowly push his left knee against her crouch area.

He isn't going to… No… Not after everything…

'If I pulled down your skirt, I wonder what I would find…' He started to chuckle in her ear again.

Sakura couldn't believe what was happening; it was as if she had been thrown back in Sound. Sasuke was being so unbelievably cruel right now. Maybe he hadn't changed after all… Maybe she had been so incredibly naïve…

Feeling the tears running down on her cheek, Sasuke lifted his head up to look into Sakura's eyes. 'Sasuke… Please…' was the best Sakura could manage.

His grip on her wrists got tighter 'It's your fault this is happening.' His intense glare made her feel as if she was melting. 'Stay away from Kakashi.'

Is this what this is all about Sasuke? Are you jealous? If you're jealous then say so and stop with the act!

'…Okay.' She barely whispered in response.

'I'm warning you. Don't make me do things I'll regret.' For a couple of seconds Sakura felt an unbearable pressure being put on her wrists, as if they would break in any second.

'I understand.' As soon as the words left her mouth the pain in her wrists subsided.

'Good. You belong to me...' His head drifted lower to lay on top on hers. 'Say it… Say you belong to me.' He drawled into her ear.

Belong to you?

Annoyed at the lack of response, he started to rub his knee softy into her crouch. 'Sa-ku-ra…' He quietly sang her name into her ear. 'I'm waiting.'

Feeling his left hand releasing her wrists while his right was still holding onto them, she could feel the zipper of her top starting to be unzipped. 'I'm yours! I'm yours!' She screamed in response. Sakura felt ashamed to say it but she couldn't bear the thought of him touching her like that.

'It wasn't that hard after all.' He kissed her left cheek. Smiling at her, he said 'Finally you understand.'

Sakura couldn't adjust to his ever changing moods, first he was aggressive and now he was happy. Something was wrong with this man, something was wrong in his head. Maybe the death of his clan and then the death of Itachi really had driven him insane. Was Sasuke a psycho?

Getting up off the bed, Sasuke already had started to feel guilt at what he had just done. He could hear Sakura's sobs behind his back already. All his hard work since she had awoken from her coma would be undone and Sakura most likely would be scared of him again. But, to Sasuke, this was necessary, he tried talking to her nicely and she didn't listen, so he had to resort to underhanded methods.

Go and live with Kakashi… How stupid… What would have that done to Keizo…

Sakura hadn't realised how much time had passed since Sasuke had left until Kakashi showed up at her apartment.

'Ready?' He said smiling at her, standing by the entrance of her apartment. 'I was expecting lots of bags.'

'About that… I don't mean to be a nuisance but I've changed my mind. I don't think it's a good idea after all.' She tried to push down the bile rising in her stomach as she lied. 'Really, I don't want to be a burden to you and I just need to toughen up on my own.'

Kakashi knew she was lying, he wondered what could have happened to change her mind. There could only be one person responsible, Sasuke.

'I see… Did Sasuke come over today?' He directly asked.

'No. It's got nothing to do with him.'

You've always been such a bad liar Sakura. There is no way your attitude would have changed so suddenly naturally.

'If you say so, but if you change your mind then let me know. It isn't a problem. Okay?' Noticing Sakura wouldn't look him in the eye, he gently tilted her head up with his hand. 'Okay?'

'Okay.'
