Chapter Seventeen

"Concentrate, Angel. You can do it." Dylan said in a reassuring tone.

"No I can't!" I shouted sitting down on the grass and hugged my knees to my chest.

"Here I'll help you." He smiled picking me up with one hand. "I like the fact I don't get shocked anymore." Dylan said as I saw something of the Dylan I met in the castle in his eyes. They quickly changed as if it was never there beforehand. "I'm married." He said real quick as I stood on my feet only to fall back on the grassy ground.

"Wait what?" I said getting up on my own this time.

"I was married off by the council a couple weeks after I escaped."

I had escaped and was finally free from The Cloaks. I wandered until I came to my old house and went inside. Screamed up the stairs "I'm home! Dad?!" I shouted not hearing a word. A strange and horrible smell, I will never forget the smell of death. I ran upstairs and found my dad face down on the bed he once slept on with my mom before she died. The sheets and covers where the pools of blood settled had dried around him. I gently pushed him over on his back covering my nose and mouth. I kissed him on the head and pulled his lids shut. His skin was cold as ice; he had to have been dead for a while. We didn't have any friends or neighbors for miles. Nobody ever came to check on him I guess. So I looked for one of my dad's cigarettes, put it in-between dead fingers and lit a match. As I dropped the match to the floor I looked at my dad's lifeless body for a second before running out.

Then I walked until I found a building where I saw a woman painting through the window. I walked in and was greeted by her. She had golden eyes and white hair with a pink tint to it.

"Hi, how may I help you?" She questioned putting down the paint brush that was in her hand.

"My name is Dylan. I have just escaped captivity."

"Oh my!" She shouted, running over to me almost knocking over her newly painted canvas. "My name is Bay. Come home with me. I will make you some decent food and give you a warm bed to sleep in."

"No I could never impose on you like that."

"It will be my pleasure." She said going back to canvas and started cleaning her art supplies."Okay I'm ready."She smiled walking back to the door that I was standing at. When we arrived at her house, she put the key in the door and unlocked it. "Babe? I'm home!" She shouted. "River?"

"Hey honey how was your day?" I heard who I expected was River say from the living room.

"Good I finished the painting for the silent auction this Sunday." Bay said smiling.

"That's great sweetheart. See I told you cou- who is this?" River said in a gruff voice. He walked in from the living room in the front hallway.

"This is Dylan he just escaped the castle. Spencer's castle."Bay said running into hug River.

"I didn't mean to intrude." I said moving back toward the front french doors.

"No you are more than welcome to stay with us." River smiled. He then walked into the kitchen. "Dylan what would you want for dinner?" River shouted from the kitchen.

"A burger!" I said getting all excited. I haven't had one of those since I had been captured by The Cloaks.

I stayed there until there was a knock at the door one morning.

"Hello Robert, Jen. You here to check up on us again? You have already taken my baby what else could you possibly want?"

"We hear you are harboring another dragon. He belongs to us you know." A deep voice said in the doorway.

"I'll go get him. Dylan!" River shouted up the stairs.

"Yeah?" I said making my way down the stairs.

"Hello Dylan. We are here to talk to you." Robert said as I came into view of them standing at the door.

"Talk to me about what?"

"It's way past your thirteenth year and we need to marry you. You just don't get a free pass."

"Then I was married off to Mandy. Moved out with her but still kept in touch with your family. Went to dinners every once in a while with Mandy."

"You did what I always wanted to do with my family but instead you." I sighed."Do you love her?" I asked realizing that it hurt to even ask him.

"Yeah I think I do." He said smiling.

"You know that's great because I'm engaged." I said surprising myself with lying to him.

"That's great! So we are both happy!" He said it more like he was trying to convince himself of the happiness that we both said we have. I couldn't tell though. "Let's try that move again." He said as I tried to concentrate on the task at hand. I closed my eyes and tried to transform into my dragon form. I haven't been able to do it since that first time that Sam and I kissed.

"Have you ever transformed before?"

"Yeah once." I sighed opening my eyes. "Nothing!" I shouted in a frustrated tone, looking down at myself. No transformation.

"It's okay training is over for the day anyway. I have to get back home. Mandy is making chicken." He said grabbing his dark brown leather jacket that he shed a couple hours ago. "See you tomorrow." He said smiling for the last time and started to walk down the mountain. "You coming?" He said, shouting up the mountain.

"No I'm going to sit here for a little while longer." I said taking a deep breath and sat down on the grass.

"Okay see you tomorrow at the same time."

"See ya."

Life has been nothing but training since Dylan came back into my life. Every once in a while I get a little glimpse of the Dylan I once knew in the castle but it's real rare that I do. He keeps asking about Sam and our relationship. I have to keep up with the lies I tell about Sam and I. Like how it was love at first site and he helped me become who I really wanted to be. All lies. I haven't been in touch with Sam since the fight we had. He is still part of The Warriors of Mist. He used to write letters to me but they all went unanswered and after a while he stopped. He still writes to Dean though and sometimes Dean will beg me to write back. Says that Sam is really torn up.

"Lila please just write him." Dean said sitting across from me at the kitchen table.

"No Dean I told you why I wasn't doing that. You said it yourself he doesn't deserve someone like me."

"I know but that was before I got all these letters from him. If you just read one of yours or even mine you would know." Dean said taking my hand that was lying on the table. "Please?"

"I'm going to be late for training." I said getting up and walking to the door.

"Delila wait!" Dean shouted running after me.

"What?" I questioned with my hand on the half way open door.

"Just promise me you will think about writing him back."

"Okay...nope not going to." I said opening the door a little more to only have Dean slam it.

"Sam is my brother and you loved him once and I know what you have been saying to Dylan. Word travels fast." He said keeping his strong hand on the door so it stayed close.

"Are you blackmailing me?"

"Is threatening to tell Dylan the truth blackmailing? Than yes, I guess I am."

"Come on Dean you know how torn up I am about this whole Sam thing. Bringing him back in is just to painful."

"You alright brought him back. You decided to lie to Dylan and brought a fake Sam into the picture."

"He used to be like that. Everything I have said about Sam is true. They were all true feelings at some point."

"So just talk to him." Dean whispered in my ear taking his hand off the door.

"I think we need to try something a little different today. Something easier." Dylan chuckled. "You okay?" Dylan asked when I didn't response to his jab.

"No. I'm going to have to take a rain check on training today." I sighed pushing my hair out of my face so I could see Dylan.

"Okay. Well I will see you tomorrow." He said looking into my eyes. "You sure you're okay." He said lifting up my chin.

"Fine just have to take care of some stuff." I sighed running down the mountain.

I got into Dean's Impala back at the house and hot wired it and just started driving. I knew exactly where I was going and who I was going to. Tears started to fall as I drove. I tried to keep my eyes on the road as much as possible. I finally slammed on my breaks, put it in park and ran out. I ran and ran just letting my legs take over. "Sam! Sam!" I shouted running through the camp site. "Sam!" I shouted trough tears running into his tent.

"Delila?" He questioned in surprised turning around. I hit his chest and enclosed my arms around him.

"Sam." I cried nuzzling his chest. "Sam."

"I'm here. I'm here. I am not going anywhere." He said wrapping his arms around me. "It's okay." He whispered stroking my hair. "I'm so sorry, Lila. I'm sorry." He whispered kissing my head. He pulled my chin up with his first two fingers and kissed me on the lips. His tongue caressed the inside of my mouth and he held onto my face with his strong tough warrior hands. "I love you." Sam said breaking the kiss for a much needed breath.

"I love you too." I said as his lips traveled down my lips to my neck where he nibbled and kept going down giving my body an extra shock when his teeth came in contact with my skin.

"I missed you." Sam said pushing up my t-shirt and caressed my stomach with his mouth.

"I need you." I panted as Sam caressed the left side of my face and kissed me again.

"I need you too." He said breathlessly taking off my shirt and unhooking my bra. He caressed my body all down to the waistband of my jeans. "Delila." He whispered as I took off his shirt and felt his naked chest against mine.

"Sammy." I sighed breathlessly as we both took off each others pants. "Sam."

"I'm here." He said hooking my underwear with his thumbs and pulling it down my waist making fall to the floor. I brushed my hand over the obvious bulge in his boxers and pulled down his underwear, they fell to the floor with mine. We sat on the his bunk and he thrusted in me. He kept kissing down my body and laid us down on his bunk. He rolled us over and on the bed hovering over me. He lent down and kissed my lips as he took his time thrusting into my center. Making me feel every move he made inside me.

"Uhhh...Sam...don't stop." I panted, digging my finger nails into his back.

"Mmmm...uhh...Delila..." He said breathlessly biting down on one of my nipples. "I love you."

"I...uhh...love...you...too..." I breathed as he thrusted into my center again. I couldn't hold it any longer I was going to explode. I could feel him building and coming close.

"I'm...going...to...UHHH!" He grunted exploding inside my center. I exploded shortly after him and we both fell onto the bed out of breath.
