Chapter Eighteen

"Delila I forgot to greet you. Hello." He half-laughed, pulling my hair from the left side of my neck.

"Hey." I smiled turning over and kissed his lips. "I missed those dimples." I said running my fingers over them gently.

"I missed that nose." He smiled kissing the tip of my nose. "I know I shouldn't bring this up but, why are you here?"

"I just thought that I might have overreacted with the whole warrior thing. You said yes before you even admitted your feelings for me. I get wanting to be in a place you feel safe. That's how I feel when I'm with Dean."

"I guess it's good that you feel safe when you are with my brother..." He trailed off

"Sammy it's just he has been there through my whole life. He doesn't compare to you." I smiled kissing him to reassure Sam that they didn't compare. "He has backed off. For you Sam."

"For me? I didn't even know we were still together."

"Do you not want us to be?" I questioned getting up. "You know what Sam I came here because I had been thinking about-"

"No I didn't say that. Delila get back in the bed." He said cutting me off and grabbing my arm, caressing it. "I miss you and want you back. Do you want me to get down on my knees and beg? I will."

"No. That's okay." I smiled getting back in the bed and Sam kissed me behind the ear.

My phone went off then and I got up again to get my phone out of my jeans. "Hello?"

"Delila Elizabeth Woods, where are you and where is my car!" Dean yelled into the phone.

"I've only been gone for one night. Chill out Dean your Impala is fine." I giggled. "I'm with Sam."

"Oh well have fun, I want my truck back by tonight. I have a date." He said as I heard a smile in his voice.

"I'll have it back by then." I said and hung up the phone. I threw my phone on the floor and jumped back in the bed with Sam.

I spent the rest of the day in Sam's arms until I had to leave. He begged me not to but I told him that we would be in touch. We kissed in a very passionate way before I left and I felt the way I always did with him before. I love him but I don't know if that's really enough for him. I feel he will get bored of me and go back to the way he was. Maybe Spencer is right; maybe I don't know what love really is but I am determined to find out.

"So who is this girl?" I asked lying on Dean's bed watching him get ready for his date.

"Her name is Katie. I met her at the bar a couple nights ago." He said combing his hair. "Don't give me that look. I wasn't drunk. Okay maybe I was but she is very sweet." He smiled walking over to his dresser and putting on a shirt. I watched as his muscles moved as he stretched to get the t-shirt over his head. For some reason I was a little jealous that this girl Katie was spending the night with him. "Are you okay with this?" Dean asked turning around after he pulled on his shirt.

"Yeah of course I am." I smiled watching him loop his belt into his dark jeans. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know. I guess because we did sort of have a thing and I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Dean we are best friends and nothing is going to change that. I am happy you are out there living your life. I have Sam and now you have Katie."

"We will see. It's only our first date. Let's not get my hopes up." He chuckled.

"You don't know how attractive you are do you?" I questioned laughing.

"No I don't enlighten me Lila." He smiled sitting next to me on the bed while I sat up.

"You are smart, funny and know how to treat a girl. Dean you are perfect." I smiled.

"Hardly but thanks. Nothing like an ego boost before a date." He smiled kissing me on the forehead. "Don't wait up." He said, leaving the room still smiling. I heard his truck start and he was gone.

I got up from his bed and decided to call Sam. It rang once and then went to voice-mail. I ended the call before his voice-mail had a chance to finish. Just then my phone rang I looked at the number and didn't recognize it. "Hello?"

"Delila? Hey it's Dylan. I was wondering if you wanted to get some dinner? Mandy is out with her girlfriends tonight and I am free. Thought we could catch up." I heard Dylan say on the other line it kind of sounded like he was out of breath.

"Yeah that would be nice." I said looking at the time. "Give me an hour and I will meet you at your house. I will cook." I said walking into my room and started getting dressed.

"Great I will see you then." He said and the line went dead. It seemed a little odd the way Dylan was talking to me. How he was out of breath and all of the sudden his wife is out with her girlfriends for the night. He has never called me for anything like this before. I quickly threw on a light blue dress with a bow in the back. It only hit a little below my kneecaps and I put on some little black heels that tied around my ankles. I walked out of the house and realized there was no car.

"Son of a bitch!" I groaned loudly taking off my heels and started walking.

I walked all the way to Dylan's house and saw that the door was cracked open. "Dylan?" I shouted walking into the house.

"Ahh there is my Beauty. Come to join the party."

"The only person that ever calls me Beauty is..." I whispered trailing off. "Spencer." I said seeing him sitting at the kitchen table with his left leg folded over the other his right and his hands behind his head, relaxing. "Where is Dylan?"

"Let's not bring him into our little relationship, Delila." Spencer said not moving from his chair. "Sit." He smiled motioning his finger toward himself.

"What did you do to him?" I said hanging in the doorway of the kitchen. "Spencer?"

"He is back where he belongs." Spencer said getting up and caressing my arm. "Come sit with me. Let's talk."

"No!" I shouted pulling my arm out of his grasp.

"Now Delila you did this."

"Did what?" I questioned fighting back tears. "What?!"

"Killed Dylan." He said in a calm tone, smiling.

"You killed Dylan?" I said as tears started to flow out of my eyes and down my cheeks.

"Shh shh shh. Delila, no tears like that should fall down a face of such beauty. Besides I told you want would happen if you brought other men into our relationship. You didn't listen so I start dropping bodies. Preferably the bodies of people you love most. Dean Warren is next. Oh don't look like that. I know the way you are with him. You love him, he loves you and you guys could have the white picket fence, a couple kids but not on my watch. That's never going to happen. You will be mine Delila Elizabeth Woods. Even if I have to kill everyone around you."

"What and then Sam after that?"

"No I have no use to kill him. He doesn't love you Delila. All he wants is the sex that you provide for him. You see I know everything that goes on around you. I know what you feel and the people around you feel. Dylan didn't come back coincidentally. He has been working for me the whole time. Nobody ever escapes from my grasp."

"You can have me. Just don't hurt anyone anymore. I will give up without a fight." I said, wiping my eyes and looking down as more tears fell from my eyes.

"You might but I don't think Dean will. But you see I have already taken care of that as well." Spencer chuckled kissing my lips forcefully again. "Katie now she is a lovely girl. Does what she is told and doesn't ask for any favors. Except maybe one but I don't find that as a favor especially if they are good." He smiled, winking.

"You disgust me." I said spitting in his eye.

"Charming. You were always a fighter." He said wiping his eye. "Even when I came to take you all those years ago. You don't remember do you? Didn't do much damage but oh you fought. Fought until my guards left you in the castle. I had to wait until you were old enough to make you my bride but I never lost site of you. You are special Delila, very special."

"Leave my loved ones alone! Please!" I cried, begging him but all he did was smile.

"You aren't that stupid Delila. I don't give up!" He spat through his teeth.

"Take me now Spencer. Take what you want." I cried as he forcefully put his hands around my neck and kissed me again.
