"Hey I think now is the chance get Rin to like the idea of us dating," Gou informed her boyfriend.
"Hmm, what makes you say that?" Seijuro hummed.
"He sent me a text saying how he's going to be a better brother and wants to hang out today. Of course I said I was busy though."
"You should probably tell him you're not going to be available all weekend," Seijuro added, he leaned over and kissed Gou on the cheek.
"Yeah I know," she smiled.
Her brother was persistent in his desire to hang out and have some brotherly – sisterly bonding. Although the sentiment was endearing she really couldn't hang out with him all weekend. They were going to be out the whole time. She replied to Rin before putting her phone back in her bag. Hopefully he would stop asking soon, she really didn't want to lie to him, because although he was turning over a new leaf she didn't think he was ready to learn that she was spending some time with his swim team captain.
A lot of time. About a whole road trip and back time.
She leaned on the car door and looked out the window, singing lowly with the pop singer on the radio, and almost dozing off to the soothing cradling of the car. Until her phone went off again with a message from her beloved brother.
The fuck are you doing? All weekend?
She lied.

She sighed, she wasn't that bad of a liar, it was just a lot harder to lie to family. Especially if she knew what she was doing would annoy and possibly enrage the hot – headed swimmer. So she decided to slowly bring up the topic.

Form his response she could clearly see that wasn't the right way to approach it, she should have tried lying again instead.

Before he could get any shady ideas of what exactly was going to happen this weekend she quickly sent back a text.
WE'RE JUST GOING ON A LITTLE ROAD TRIP PLEASE DON'T YELL.
Which was and ironic message to send because she was sending the message in capital letters as well. But she didn't really cope well with pressure, so it was reasonable to meet fire with fire.

She put the phone back in her bag and turned to Seijuro, a sheepish smile on her face. "What happened? Was it Rin?" Seijuro asked curiously.
His phone buzzed in his pocket, "It was Rin wasn't it?" Seijuro sighed.
He waited til the next traffic light and quickly replied to the message before continuing their trip.
I can't text and drive can you yell at me when I get to a gas station?
"Okay unless he starts spamming you that should keep his anger at bay," The Samezuka captain relayed.
"Okay that's good," Gou beamed as she kissed Seijuro.
Gou turned up the radio as one of her favourite songs started. She sang along with the lyrics and albeit her less than on par singing, Seijuro didn't say anything. In fact she noticed he was smiling from the corner of her eye. When she was done blessing the car with her voice she began conversing with Seijuro. They talked about many things, pointless topics that would end with Gou laughing or Seijuro innocently blushing. Soon they arrived at a gas station and she got out to buy some snacks and a trip to the bathroom whilst Seijuro topped the tank.

He messaged Rin.
I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? KIDNAPPING MY SISTER FOR SOME DUMB ASS HOLIDAY FOR YOURSELF!
CANCELLING PRACTICE BECAUSE YOU'RE 'BUSY' YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT.
He chuckled, even though he shouldn't he thought this was amusing. After all the time he spent trying to get Gou's number he was now on a road trip with her. An although Rin was persuaded he has bad intentions, this trip was meant to be strictly innocent. Unless Gou says so. And despite all that he couldn't help but to tease Rin.

He smiled, pleased with his response.

A predictable response he thought. He closed the gas tank door and headed for the cashier whilst replying to his girlfriend's brother.
Calm down Rin I was just joking trust me.

He really laughed at that. "Hey, what so funny?" Gou pouted.
"Ah nothing. You ready to hit the road?" Seijuro asked.
"Yeah is there anything else you want?"
"Nah I trust your judgement," Seijuro said, "Here I'll pay for those."
"Oh it's fine you're paying for the gas already," Gou swatted Seijuro away.
"Seriously it's fine," Seijuro insisted.
She sighed and reluctantly handed him the snacks. There was no point arguing with him, although his good – guy demeanour he could really be stubborn. Like her brother.
They bid the cashier good bye and hopped back in the car. Seijuro quickly sent a message before revving up the car.

Rin saw the message and jumped on his bed and screamed into the pillow. "I hate my life so much," he shouted on deaf ears.
