Oliver took Felicity to Starling City Hospital.

"Oliver, everything is okay, this isn't necessary", Felicity protested as Oliver pushed her through the hospital entrance. "Felicity, I just want to make sure you don't have a concussion."

"I'm fine, really…I just want to go home….take a shower…"

Oliver hugged her. "Let's get you quickly checked out, then I'll take you home and you can shower as long as you need to, okay?" Felicity nodded. He knew that she needed this ritual to wash off Edward Andrews' touch.

Oliver placed Felicity on a chair in the ER and went over to the front desk. Barely two minutes later a nurse came over and took them into an examination room. Felicity knew that the CEO had used the power of his name to speed things up. Normally she would have been angry at him, but this time she was grateful for it. Even if the blind panic and persistent trembling hadn't appeared this time, she just wanted to get rid of the smell and any other traces Edward Andrews had left on her body.

A young female doctor entered the room. "Hello Ms. Smoak, Mr. Queen. I'm Dr. Michaels. Please tell me what happened."

Felicity's hands grew damp as she started to recount the whole story. Oliver put a hand protectively on her back.

"Ms. Smoak, you don't have a concussion, but it's already evident that you will get a black eye. You were very brave and even if what you did for your friend was very dangerous, I think it was alsothe first step for you out of this trauma."

Felicity climbed off the examination table and shook hans with the doctor. "Thanks, Dr. Michaels."

As Felicity left the room Oliver shook hands with the doctor as well. "Thanks for your help, Dr. Michaels."

"Just doing my job, Mr. Queen. Be there for her. Ms. Smoak will need some time to get over this and she will need a strong partner at her side."

"I won't leave her alone, you can be sure of that."

The ride home was quiet. Felicity was tired and the need to finally feel hot water on her skin was almost unbearable.

When Oliver stopped the car, she immediately got out and headed for the house. The billionaire had trouble keeping up with her, reaching her just at the entrance door. "Hey, are you okay?"

Felicity started to tremble. "Oliver, I really need to get rid of his touches." He opened the door and led her straight to his room. Felicity immediately headed for the bathroom, but Oliver stopped her for a moment.

"Oliver, don't, let me go."

"I will, but this time you won't be alone."

Felicity looked at him. He took her hand and led her into the bathroom He turned on the showar and took his clothes off, before going over to Felicity. "Tell me if you feel uncomfortable and I'll stop at once, okay?" She couldn't answer, but the look in her eyes signaled yes. Slowly he took off her blouse and bra. Felicity protectively crossed her arms over her naked body. "Trust me, Felicity", Oliver said, keeping his voice low and soothing as he pulled off her pants and slip. Felicity started to tremble again. She was so beautiful and Oliver wanted her more than anything, but this was not the right time for sex. He took her hand, led her under the shower and began to gently wash her. "That man will never touch you again, I promise. This will be the last time you need to wash off his touch."

Slowly Felicity relaxed, tears flooding her eyes. She wrapped her arms around Oliver and let the emotions wash over her. He hugged her back. "Just let it out, it will make you feel better. We can do this, Felicity, I'm here for you, you don't have to get through it alone."

They stayed for a while under the warm spray of water, wrapped in each other's arms.

Finally, Oliver wrapped her in a big fluffy towel and carried her back to the bedroom. Felicity started to kiss and touch him, but he stopped her. "As much as I'd love to, this isn't the right time. Let me just hold you."

"I love you, Oliver. Thanks."

"I love you, too."

She snuggled as close to his body as possible. Oliver wrapped his arms tightly around her slender body, as if afraid he might lose her again.

Two weeks had passed since Edward Andrews had been arrested. Officer Lance had seen to it that the charges against Oliver had been dropped. The trial was nerve-wracking. Felicity had to go on the witness stand and suffer through all kinds of questions, often very probing and intimate ones. More than once tears were running down her face. Time and again Oliver was close to jumping in and getting her out of there, but Diggle always mentioned for him to stay calm. Edward Andrews was sentenced to life imprisonment and pronounced to be untreatable. Felicity felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders when the sentence was pronounced. Now she could be free to live her life and get over everything.

Oliver immediately wrapped an arm around her. Diggle did the same. Together they left the court room and went back to the Queen mansion.

"It's over, Oliver. It's finally over." Relieved tears were running down Felicity's face. The CEO of QC wrapped her arms more tightly around her. "Ssshhhh, everything is okay, you were very brave, I'm incredibly proud of you. Your strength, your honesty, your intelligence…that's what I love you for, Felicity Smoak."

"Oliver, you told me to stop crying, but with words like these, I just can't", she sobbed. Oliver looked at her and gave her a kiss. "We'll get through this, Felicity. Together. I'll be here for you."

The weeks passed and Felicity's nightmares lessened. More and more she regained her old happiness and tendency to babble. In meetings Oliver always sat next to her and if she felt the smallest amount of panic regarding a new client, she could give him a sign and he found a reason to send her out of the room. She had managed to break the curse of Edward Andrews once once already, and with Oliver's help she would be able to do it again.
