Chapter 6.
I walk through the hallway of my new school alone. It's not really new, they just transferred the people who used to go to this school to a different one and the students in my school and others from Townsville squished into here until they finish rebuilding Townsville. My two conscious sisters had to go for their weekly checkup on their tumour that had grown into cancer when they found it. Bubbles' tumour had grown and spread to the back of her heart. It was too late for them to get it out, but they took as much of it as possible, extending her life of pain. Blossom on the other hand, they could take all of it out, but somehow it kept on growing back and it get's worse each time. It's grown back three times so far, we don't know how many times the government will allow us to use their money for the expensive surgery. The chemotherapy they got had their hair fall out, leaving them bald. I was lost, I don't know what to do but fight the villains attacking Citysville. They know how much is going on, yet they still cause trouble. Why?
I was face to face with Blake, my brown side bangs casting a shadow over my masked eyes and his hair did the same with his glaring eyes. We stood there, as if we were speaking with our bodies, but we weren't. I don't understand him, but it seems like he understands me. In one quick, sudden movement, Blake grabbed my hand and pulled me to the roof of the school and he pushed me hard against the wall, smacking the back of my head on it. I lost my sight of vision for a mere second, but I wish it was forever, so I didn't have to see the tragedies that would come. I blinked a couple times before regaining my eyesight, Blake and his brothers surrounded me so I couldn't escape.
"We are going to make a deal with you, but you can't tell anyone," Brick told me.
I waited for them to continue, I wanted to be entertained, "if you do something for us, we'll cure your sisters," Butch smirked.
"Cancer can't be cured and you can't wake someone up from a coma," I told them, disgusted they would speak about my sisters.
Boomer reached into his bag dug something small out. He shifted his hold on the item for me to see it, it was a bottle made of crystals, inside was an unknown red substance that bubbled. "What is it?"
"It's called Jeni-si."
"Where did you get it?" I eyed the bottle.
"Him." I looked at Brick in the eye for the first time. He was serious, but the smirk threw me slightly off. Why would they want to help us? So, I asked them. "We just want a little fun in return."
"How do I know it works?"
"You don't," they laughed. They're messed up, I try to take my leave but Blake, being the closest, stands in my way. I try to fly away, but he grabs me and shoves me to the wall, pinning me to it.
"Don´t you want to save your sisters?" Blake whispers in my ear, "I thought you cared about them." He shoves me against the wall, "I thought you loved them."
"I do love them, but I don´t trust you," I growled.
"What have you got to loose? If it doesn´t work, it doesn´t work." Boomer told me. At the time I didn´t think any further or of any of the consequences of taking the bottle. I just did it.
