Maya ran as fast as she could, her breath coming in short gasps as every few seconds she had to pause time for five seconds, just to keep from the sparks already brewing from falling on them, killing them instantly.
"Ca-Spiff, you need to pause time. Twist the metal plate on the glove." She said, holding on as tightly as she could to the stone; it pulsed hot and was burning away the thick fabric from her right glove.
"Okay." Spiff panted, twisting the metal plate around.
Sparks suddenly fell down on them, just as a click was heard from the metal plate, and everything turned gray as a boulder in the middle of a mountain.
Maya grabbed Spiff's hand and pulled him into a passage to the side, and pulled him into a huge cavern with battered and not-so-battered small spaceships on one side, and huge, fighter spaceships on the other.
"Find yours. I'll find mine." Maya commanded, and turned down a narrow pathway marked out in white paint with glowing wavy green lines.
She looked from ship to ship, until she spotted a dark blue one person ship with black stripes going around it.
She shook the door, then, finding it was locked, pulled a clip from her hair and picked the lock.
Meanwhile, Spiff had found his own ship, it looked just as perfect as he had left it.
He struggled with the door, then, finding it was locked, set off to find Maya.
By then, Maya had found her extra key, as it had been moved around.
Just then, Spiff darted up to her.
"I'm locked out of my ship. Can you pick the lock?" He asked, panting.
"Sure."
~Ten minutes later~
"Are you ready to fire the door off?" Maya asked the intercom.
"Yes." His reply came, crackling over the radio.
"Fire in five...four...three...two...one...fire!" Maya said, and two cannons fired from the front of each ship, bursting the huge iron door into trillions of pieces.
"I'll follow you. My ship isn't detectable by anything but a crash." Maya said, maneuvering her ship over the rough surface of the planet, dodging around huge spires of rock.
She checked her radar, and yelled into the intercom;
"Zarglock invader ships are chasing us! Prepare for timefreeze warp!"
"Timefreeze warp?"
"Freeze time and go three million miles per hour!"
"Okay."
The world outside of the ships turned gray, and the ships engines made small roaring noises, then they shot of outside of the Zar atmosphere, leaving the prison behind.
But this is one of the two troubles. And there are three in the "Stupendous" part, and four in the "Tracer" part. Maya thought grimly as her ship shot past a frozen battle scene between a Gorgleder fighter ship and a smaller Frogmortder battle ship.
