"So it's settled we help her." Robin Mummers. "Titans go!" he yells more enthusiastically.
I turn towards the ruins of the city to see the Teen Titans running out toward e.
"No! Get." I yell at them pointing at the horizon. "Too late." I whisper in dismay. Haze will kill them all if they get involved or try to stop him! Wait a minute I've been here before! I suddenly remembered the street corner.
~ flashback~
"Amber, get behind me." My brother urged. I darted behind my older brother.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"The bad men found us. "Matthew took a defensive stance in front of me and brought out his retractable Dao swords. Two humanoid robots stalked towards us. They pulled huge daggers out of their boots. I started to shake in fear like any sensible five-year old would.
"It's okay little wolf." My brother comforted me. "I'll make sure the bad guys won't get you." I calmed down. I always believed my brother, I always knew he would save me. A man in a tux ran out in front of the robots.
"You men leave these children alone!" he yelled at them. The robots looked at each other and evil grins slid across their faces
"Sir get out of the way." My brother growled, his wolf side kicking in.
"No you kids ru-." The man said only to be cut off by a glowing knife in his chest. I gasped in horror. The robots jumped on the men and started to viciously tear him part.
"Amber get on my back. Now." My brother gulped as he shifted into his jet black wolf form. I jumped on his back and clung to his scruff. We ran.
~end flashback~
Everyone who intervenes dies.
In a split second the deserted crossroad was full of cicadas and slade bots. I use my water and air bending to pressurize a bubble and release it up into the sky. It explodes and the air pushes everything back while the water slices some of the cicada's shells. Unfortunately it doesn't do much to the slade bots.
"Teen Titans GO!" I hear robin yell. They begin attacking the many robots. Th-their helping me? I am shocked. Normally people just watch me fight, especially in Gotham city. That stupid man was in my shadows. A slade bot rushes me from behind. I do a back handspring and use my momentum to flip up and grab its shoulders and then using the little metal bending I have, and slam it on the slade bots that were charging behind it.
I whirl around and draw my swords. My instinct kicks in and I start to slice up every robot in my reach. Jumping and dodging to avoid their attacks. I jump off of the wall and flip backward. I land and through one of my sword through a few robots and into the wall. Sharply all of the robots abandon the battle field fleeing through the old houses. Haze is coming! I sheath my swords. I look towards the titans and Ravens eyes meet mine. I look away my face full of worry. Their still alive! Good they can still get away. I earthbend the concrete below their feet out from under them sending them into the sewer. I see the all too familiar outline of Haze appear on the street.
"Get! Away!" I growl ferociously.
