Fangirls Chapter Ten: The Goodbyes And The Train Ride

With everything ready for them to head out, they left for the train station.

Winry seemed to be lost in thought.

"Are you thinking about Ed?" Rose asked in innocent curiousity.

Winry was astonished; her face, also, turned bright red.

"I-I w-wasn't! I was just thinking about Automail!" Winry stammered out.

"It was Ed's Automail, wasn't it?" Paninya asked, mischieviously.

"W-w-what?" Winry screeched.

"You were?" Rose gasped, as if it was scandalous.

"I bet you were imagining that you were connecting his nerves, so that you could see him when he's only in his underwear again." Paninya guessed.

Winry's face turned red, and she rolled her eyes.

"Not really." Winry told her friends.

"You came back to the hotel room yesterday with a flushed face; you had just finished checking out your 'patient.'" Paninya teased.

"My face was normal!" Winry screeched.

"Your face was pretty red." Rose observed.

Just then they heard a squeal, and a small, pink blur flew by; it latched on to Winry.

Winry glanced down to spot May Elric clinging to her.

"May?" Winry asked the slightly younger woman.

"I came to see you guys off." May told her, beaming.

"She doesn't always do this; she just wants to rile me up." Ed complained.

"I didn't come to see you off, Ed." May rolled her eyes.

Winry giggled at the sibling like behavior.

"What are you laughing at?" Ed growled.

May retorted, "Your hieght, Beansprout boy."

Ed looked depressed, and grumbled something under his breath about, "Tall boy friends."

May chipped in, "You're gay, Ed?"

"No!" Ed snapped, but he didn't elaborate on what he had said.

"Uncle Ed visit us when you're in town again!" Chimed May's adorable children.

"I'll try." Ed promised his niece and nephew.

Winry walked up to the train.

"You too, Aunt Winry!" Alphonse and Trisha called out to Winry, making her turn around.

"I'll try." Winry told them while she smiled.

Paninya smirked at that.

"Who are they?" Trisha asked Winry, shyly.

"They are my best friends, Rose and Paninya. They're like family to me." Winry informed the twins.

"So they're like your sisters?" Al questioned.

"Yeah, you can say that." Winry told Al, smiling as she remembered that that was how her home town referred to them.

"Bye Aunt Rose and Aunt Paninya!" Visit us soon!" Trisha called out.

Rose smiled, and nodded.

Paninya grumbled, "Naive children," under her breath, but none the less told them, "Goodbye, I will."

Finding a seat on the train took some time, but they did find one.

Rose claimed a window seat, as did Ed. Paninya, quickly, sat down by Rose, causing Winry to sit by Ed.

"Apparently you're a real softie." Winry teased Paninya, who rolled her eyes in response.

"What's going on with you and Ed? Aunt Winry and Uncle Ed?" Paninya asked Winry.

"W-what?" Ed and Winry choked out in unison, both of their faces started to heat up.

"They just called me that since I met them, and they called both of you Aunt as well." Winry stuttered in alarm.

"I am not dating my Automail mechanic!" Edward informed them.

"They called Rose and myself aunts, because you said that we were like your sisters." Paninya argued back.

"It's not a crime to date your Automail mechanic." Rose, quietly, told them.

They all stared at her in surprise.
