A/N: I deleted the ending to chapter 8 so you might want to read that again. Or not.

Chapter 9:

'Explain to me why this was a good idea,' Kyoko thought to herself as she was eating a practically silent dinner with her own Senpai. She narrowed her eyes. 'Oh yeah. Atsuki.' She sighed. 'If Atsuki were able to hang out with Tsuruga-san, then she would tell him about my embarrassing childhood. Was that all though?' Kyoko frowned and put down her spoon. There were some parts still missing. Just couldn't figure out what.

"Mogami-san, are you okay?" Ren asked. Yes, Kyoko was the type of girl to show all her emotions on her face, and now she seemed worried.

"Hmm? Oh yes! Fine! Thank you!" Kyoko assured as she began to eat her food again.

"How far have you read in the book?' Ren asked after a moment.

"Well, I haven't gotten around to reading it in a while, so I would say around episode six." She answered .

"I see," Ren replied back. "So what parts do you want to go over?"

"I... I presume from episode seven and up." Kyoko muses. "I already have the sixth episode ready, but I want to see how the rest of the script should play out." She added as an after-thought.

"Alright then." Ren grimaced.

They ate in silence again until they finished.

"Thank you for the food." They both prayed. Kyoko got up to collect the plates, but Ren stopped her.

"I can do it." He said.

"Oh, no, it's fine, really!" Kyoko assured. Ren chuckled. Always the same.

"Please," he started as he got up, "You made dinner. The least I could do is clean up. Allow me." He said as he collected the dishes and stacked them under the cups. Kyoko nodded mutely and decided to sit back down at the table. Ren went into the kitchen and soon running water could be heard.

Kyoko sighed. Eating done. Now she just had to play out the script with her Senpai. Easier said then done. She got out her script and opened it up to episode six. That was a good episode. There they learn that Shiro is a magician. By luck, they learn that he is, of course. Apparently, he would've kept it a secret forever.

'Now why would he do that?' Kyoko asked herself. Before Kyoko could think of the reason, Ren came back into the room and sat down by Kyoko, probably closer than last time, but no one noticed.

"Alright." Ren said. "Where did you end exactly?"

"Uhm, we were camping out for the night." Kyoko answered. Ren thought for a moment, his mind going over all the parts.

"Oh yes. Right." He exclaimed. "That. Well. Alright. How about you read it, then we can go over it?" He suggests.

"Hai!" Kyoko exclaimed, and flipped the pages in the script to where they were. Kyoko scanned over the words, until she got to the end. Ren watched her every face movement, not that he meant to though. By the end Kyoko started blushing.

"Ah. Well," Kyoko started. "Yes, uhm. Well." was all Kyoko said.

"Are you ready?" Ren asked, wanting to push things ahead before Kyoko backed out. Kyoko looked into Ren's eyes.

"H- Hai!" She exclaimed, before taking a deep breath and closing her eyes.

["Shiro-san, why didn't you want me to know you had powers?" Mitsuki asks as they sit around the fire. Shiro sighs.

"I just don't want people to know." Shiro lies. "They got banned about a hundred years ago."

Mistuki stares at the fire.

"Oh yeah. I forgot. It's okay though, your secret is safe with me." She says reassuringly as she gets up to sit by Shiro on the log. She fidgets for a moment.

"And why?" He asks, looking up at her. She inclines her head.

"Why what?"

"Why would you keep my secret?" He asks. She thinks for a moment.

"Because... Because I can trust you." She answers.

"Trust me? How? You hardly know me." He says softly.

"I know you more than you think." Mitsuki says, before leaning over and kissing him.]

"Ts- Tsuruga-san." Kyoko said after they finish the scene.

"Yes?" Ren asks.

"Uhm, uhm." Kyoko whispered. Ren thought for a moment.

"Mogami-san. The kiss is chaste, the directors even describe it as such, before you character runs off to her own tent." He explained.

"I- I know. But still." She says, looking at the floor. "It's such a sudden developement. I don't understand."

"Oh? What's not to understand about kissing someone you like?" Ren asked. Kyoko looked up suddenly to see Ren right by her. Before she could reply, he cupped her face, and very slowly, leaned in and kissed her. It only lasted for a second, but it felt like forever. When Ren pulled back it seemed as if Kyoko was in a state of shock (which she probably was).

"I- I- I should g- go!" Kyoko exclaimed as she got up really fast, collected her script and bag, and ran out of the room.

"Kyoko, wait!" Ren called out, but it was too late. He sighed and plunked his head on the table. 'It was a stupid idea to begin with. Why would I do it? I just got caught up in the moment and before that we kissed for a second and-' Ren sighed. 'I really messed things up.' He thought dejectedly.

Kyoko ran out of the apartment Ren lived in and got on her bike to head home, all while thinking 'Oh god oh god oh god ohgodohgodohgod.' The kiss. The kiss. It was nicer then Sho's but- NO! That's not what I should focus on. No. Her Senpai just kissed her. Her Senpai just kissed her. Japan's most desirable man. The number one actor. The one who she secretly (and non-admittedly) has feelings for. Oh. God. And she just ran out. 'I am so stupid. My legs just ran on their own. My mind had no control over my body. Stupid.' She chided to herself. 'What will I do tomorrow? Or the next day?' Kyoko pedaled all the way home and went straight up to her room, since the owners had already gone to bed.

She threw her stuff on the ground and fell on the bed.

'Why would he do that? He already has a lover.' She muttered into her pillow. 'Playboy.' Se grimaced, before attempting to go to bed. It was fruitless, though, because all she could think about was the moment playing over and over again in her head. Both moments.

"That's it!" Kyoko exclaimed. "He must have still been in the role of Shiro! How could I have been so stupid?" Kyoko smiled to herself, before frowning and lying back in bed. 'Why am I sad though?' Was Kyoko's last thought before she went to bed.

A/N: I owe all of you who actually liked this story an explanation and apology. Honestly, I don't know myself. I just fell into a state where I was worried everything I did was a failure- and it's not even that bad. The last time I updated was September, and now its February. I checked the reviews on this today and on December someone actually asked for this to be updated... So I pulled up my confidence and wrote this. I plan on cleaning the other chapters (again) and I have the story finished in my head, now I just need to write it. Also, Skip Beat has disappointed me, so these characters might be even more OOC then before. Thank you to all those who reviewed so far, favorited, or even subscribed. Thank you, honestly. I'm sorry, too. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
