Jade's Pov
Dear Mr. Oliver and Miss West,
We have revived your request to have your wedding in our facility. We are delighted to inform you that we have 5 dates that you can chose from that fit in the months you gave us. The dates are February 2nd 2014, March 27th 2014, March 29th 2014, May 18th 2014, and June 26th 2014. Please respond with your date as soon as possible because we have many people on our waiting list. Thank you.
-The Four Seasons Hotel
I set my Pearbook on the coffee table in front of me. I was home alone because Beck was at an audition for a guest spot on a new TV show. I sighed and picked up my script. I had recently been cast as Maureen in an Off-Broadway production of Rent. This was a big opportunity for me but it meant I had to drop out of college.
"Hey" Beck announced as he came into our apartment closing the door behind him.
"Hi. How'd the audition go?"
"Good." He sat next to me on the couch and put his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. He placed a kiss on my forehead. "I missed you."
"Beck, I saw you this morning"
"I know I still missed you" I rolled my eyes.
Beck's Pov
"What about the 27th?" I asked.
"No" Jade replied stubbornly.
"Why not?"
"It's a Thursday!"
"So" I asked confused.
"WHO GETS MARRIED ON A THURSDAY!?" Jade stood up in frustration. She walked over to the kitchen counter and poured herself some more coffee. "Seriously, Beck. A Thursday of all days"
"I don't understand what's wrong with Thursday" Jade just groaned in response. "Okay so not the 27th."
"May 18th?" Jade suggested.
"Can't. I have finals that week."
"Oh."
"What about February 2nd?"
"Beck! That's the night of Rent's closing show!" She exclaimed.
"Right."
"Why don't we just get married somewhere else? Somewhere in New York."
"Because," I told her "Most of our family and friends are in California."
"No your family is from Canada" Jade stated. I stared at her in disbelief.
"You want to get married in Canada?"
"Ew no."
"That leaves us in California. So March 29th or June 26th?" I asked.
"June 26th is Cat's birthday so that's out." Jade said.
"Right. So March 29th?
"Okay"
Beck's Pov
"What do you think if Andre played a song at our wedding?" I asked Jade. We were currently sitting in bed.
"I'm fine with it." She replied
"That's good because the band says they need a 5 minute break so I figured while they do that Andre could play."
"Okay." Jade relied.
"What are you reading?" I asked.
"I'm memorizing my lines." She replied.
"Oh. Sing a song from Rent for me."
"Should I sing Contact?" Jade asked. She had a smirk on her face.
"What's Contact?" I asked somewhat frightened.
"It's the song where we all have sex" she explained.
"Jade!"
"What?"
"Sing an actual song. Sing Take Me or Leave Me."
"Why do you want me to sing so badly?"
"Because I love hearing you sing. You have the best voice I've ever heard"
She rolled her eyes.
"Eh fine. Take me for what I am. Who I was meant to be and if you give a damn take me baby or leave me. Take me baby or leave me." She sang.
"Sing more!"
"No! I'm going to bed"
"Aw Jade stay up with me. It's only ten"
"No! I have rehearsal tomorrow and you have class. Go to sleep."
"I'm not tired. If you stay up we can reenact Contact." I suggested.
"BECK SHUT UP AND SLEEP" she demanded.
"Fine" I sighed defeated.
"Goodnight." She said still with annoyance in her voice.
"Goodnight, I love you."
Okay so here's the thing. I originally was going to have like ten chapters and I have a plan to update every week. So, obviously that didn't happen. I really wanted the last chapter up by March 29th (Which is today) for the bade wedding, so there are gonna be a few more updates today. There aren't going to be as many chapters though. Also To explain the Rent thing I have this headcanon thing where Jade is Maureen in Rent after she HA. I don't know why. Oh and sorry if they are a little ooc. Please review.
