I'm sorry for the disappointment you all got as soon as you read the chapter title, believe me I know how it feels. I can't believe I haven't updated for almost a whole damn year. I'm so sorry to all of you for not doing so. I was gonna post an Easter Chapter, I really was but a lot of things came up and I never even got to finish it. Plus I was still writing Love Through Hate then so I got a bit story-tied.

And I know I'm straying off topic here now but I've got a secret fan fiction that I'm currently working on. I'll give you a few hints. It's not Ice Age. It's a story from one of my favorite categories that I've never written a fan fiction on it. And it's not a one shot either. God knows how many chapters there will be. :P I'm not sure when it will come out yet. It depends on my schedule. Soon I hope.

Thanks for reading through this boring author's note. Now I'll just shut up and let you guys read.

And a special thanks to Sabers16 for giving me the idea for Sam and Flora's date!

"Come on, come on, come on." paced Bobby. "Please be available!"

Ever since last year when all those crazy events brought Cash and Flora with their significant others, Bobby has never really seen his brother and sister as much. Even though they promised him that they would still spend some time with him, it never really happened as much. Bobby has thought about talking to them about it but he didn't want to ruin the strong relationships they formed with their loved ones. It was not as if Bobby was completely alone. He would still spend his time helping out Manny and Ellie with certain things, hang out with the possums, Sid and some of the few forest animals who weren't afraid of him or even talk with his parents about certain stuff. However, as fun as those things were, Bobby missed hanging out with his true best friends.

"Hey Bob." greeted Cash.

"What's up bro?" Bobby returned the gesture. "Hey can I ask you something?"

"Sure, anything."

"I heard the hyraxes are doing a theater production for the next month and I was wondering if maybe you, Flora and I can come on opening night tonight? Their heroes' kids get in for free. What do you say?"

"Bobby, that sounds like fun!" Cash answered as if about to accept his brother's offer but then remembered something. "I can't make it though. I promised Sandy I'd take her night fishing tonight. I'm so sorry. But I don't think Flora's doing anything tomorrow night. Maybe you can ask her when she comes back with Sam?"

"Okay, I'm cool with it. I totally get it." sighed Bobby in an understandable albeit disappointed way. Cash sensed that.

"But I'm not doing anything at the moment. So, race you around the island?"

"Oh you're on!" Bobby accepted the challenge. On a count to three, the two sabers took off.

"Come on!" pouted Flora with her eyes shut tight.

"Nope!" Sam smirked playfully. "Keep them closed."

"Sam just tell me, I hate being in suspense!"

"But you love surprises!"

"Can't you at least give me a hint?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise that way." Flora was pretty quick to figure things out. He wasn't going to give her a benefit of the doubt.

"Okay, open your eyes now!" Flora did as Sam told her. When her eyes were open she gasped with surprise and pleasure.

It was a field dotted with various shades of green, white and purple. It was scented of nectar and the flowers seemed to sparkle because of the sun shining down on the dew. Irises. Flora remembered this place from her childhood. She adored the purple flowers and always used to come down here with her family, mostly with her father where they would run, play in and smell the sweet can't remember the last time they ever came here.

"Oh my gosh!" exclaimed an ecstatic Flora. "Sam, I haven't been down there since I was little! How did you find this place?"

"Well it was pretty easy. I was wondering where we should go and as if your dad read my mind, he told me about a place where he used to take his little girl out to play and gave me some directions."

"It's as beautiful as I remembered! Thank you!"

Sam plucked an Iris with his mouth and placed it in Flora's hair. "Yeah, but they have some competition there."

Flora just giggled at his compliments. As corny as they were sometimes, they were one of the sweetest things she could ever hear.

"Okay, I've got a confession to make." chuckled Flora.

"Shoot."

"Have I ever told you you're the sweetest guy I've ever met?"

"Several times, but you're probably right. Now, have I ever told you that you're the most beautiful, smart, stubborn, nicest, caring, bravest, and funniest girl I've ever met.

Flora thought about it. "Not in that order." she smirked. As she and Sam leaned in for a kiss, they were interrupted by a tan and silver flash of color.

"Hey Flora, Sam!" they both acknowledged the love birds.

"They're racing again?" asked Sam.

"What can I say, it's their favorite thing to do." chuckled Flora. "That's my brothers for you."

"You love them no matter what huh?"

"That IS the point of family."

"I know. And I'm proud to be part of yours."

Sam and Flora nuzzled each other, looked into each other's eyes, once again reached for that kiss and this time, no interruptions.

After hours of endless running, sprinting and panting, Cash and Bobby ended the race once they reached the finish line.

"I won!" declared Cash proudly.

"Really?" scoffed Bobby teasingly. "All I saw was that by paw touched the branch before yours did.

"Okay, let's just call it a tie."

The two boys then noticed the sky swirled with colors of pink, blue, purple and orange.

"Almost sunset!" Cash remember. "I guess I should go pick Sandy up now."

"Okay, bye." Bobby waved to him looking down. Cash sensed the problem right away.

"Bobby, don't be upset about not finding the one yet." Cash reassured him. "People always appear at different places at different times. Yours is out there somewhere, you just got to be patient."

"You think so?" asked Bobby.

"Sure. There's someone for everyone."

Bobby cheered up a bit and let out a small smile. "Thanks Cash. I don't know what I would do without you."

"That's what brothers are here for."

"Have fun!" Bobby wished to Cash as he walked to pick up his girlfriend and took his words into consideration.

Will Bobby ever find his significant other? Well, there's only one way to find out! WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK! Yes, it's next week! :D :D :D :D :D
