Well well well, it has certainly been a while, mostly due to my bro hogging the computer, and me losing my books which have this story written on them, well i am back to update the story, and the other one too, well, withouth further delay and anymore "well" let the story begin *pulls a rope making the curtains rise as Zoroark sleeps curled up on the flooor beside me*
"At least we saved that Arbok, that's good enough for me." Luxis said as they were near the end of the trail. Zoroark looked at Luis scowingly as she said "But that was one of Souecra's, i think we should have-" She was cut off all of a sudden by a unexpected visitor, leaping from above it's prey from the cliff it awaited on, landing in front of them but keeping distance and blocking their path. The stranger stannding before them was apparently a young man with spiky green hair, white skin bearing few battle scars and wearing trashy leather armor as if made by himself, that looked weak but cool at the least. Luxis noticed after the green haired stranger landed, and stood up, a sinister grin marked his face. Luxis and Zoroark both had a feeling they won't get through him withouth fighting. The stranger spoke, saying "Okay let me get this straight, give me all of
your money and no one gets killed!" Luxis smiled, looking at his orange eyes, and said "Sorry not happening." Luxis could take him down with Zoroark's help easily. "Zoroark, let's get him before he uses any Pokémon." Luxis stated, until the bandit let out a soft chuckle and took out a unique violet, and green edged curved knife out of his armguard. Even if he was armed with a knife, he still didn't have a chance at beating them. "What, not going to send out Pokémon?" Luxis asked. The Bandit's grin widened and he said "Why would I need one? Never let a Pokémon do a man's job I always say." "So you don't have any Pokémon then, just a small limp knife." Luxis said, getting ready to fight. "All I need is this.
This knife is soaked in poison, special poison, only I have the antidote for it, one cut will kill in about a day or two, and is effective against snake Pokémon just so you know. So, you going to be a fool or just give in your money?" Now Luxis and Zoroark were at a disadvantage as he thought of a way out. "Zoroark, stay out of this fight, I don't want you getting poisoned" Zoroark looked at Luxis surprised but did not say anything, though he could tell by her eyes she didn't like the idea.
"Well, i guess your silence means you want to fight." The bandit said getting into a defensive battle stance, awaiting either of his opponents to make a move. The dragon stone, hidden in Luxis's pocket began to glow slightly giving him power, but to him it was just a strange feeling. The bandit noticed the indicisiveness of Luxis as he was distracted by Zoroark's safety, and was about to attack him until suddenly Arbok came down on the unsus[ecting bandit from above, and managed to bite onto his right exposed arm with its's poisonous fangs. Luxis was to help Arbok out but he did not know if she was going to attack him as well. "Aaagh! Let go you wretched-" The bandit yelled out in pain trying to shake the Forbidden Pokemon from his arm as Luxis and Zoroark watched.
Unfortunately he managed to stab Arbok with his poison knife, instantly, Arbok fell off him letting out a small groan and started to squirm in agony once more. Luxis upon seeing this, yelled out "Noo!" and ran towards her and the injured bandit. The bandit moved away, holding onto his injured arm tightly and muttered "Damn it.. it poisoned me too.. bit it won't live heh.. urgh.." The bandit quickly escaped up the rest of the trail, leaving Luxis with the Arbok in his arms. The Arbok stayed looking at Luxis weakly as if hoping he would save her again. Luxis looked at her both angry at her and himself, and at the same time with sadness in his heart. "No..no.. you did not have to... " He muttered. She kept looking at Luxis with her crimson red eyes which stated to lose light and grow dim. Luxis stood up with her in her arms close to his chest and said "That damn Bastard!" He said with anger and hate in his being but he did not have time for the bandit, he looked at Zoroark and said "Quickly, we must head to a Pokemon center, that's our only chance at saving her." They ran up the mountain trail following where the bandit headed off to. Zoroark was just as worried about Arbok's safety as about if she was an enemy.
Luxis on the other hand was having thoughts of the Arbok possibly dying in his arms, he often would look down at her to see if she still breathes. She was still conscious and blushed a bit whenever he did that as she looked at his eyes. They finally reached a town just as Arbok was breathing heavily, it seemed the poison was indeed effective against snake types since in just ten minutes it was already killing her, and she was a forbidden Pokemon which should make her resistant to it but it seemed like that rule doesn't apply to her now. The town was unexpectedly.. rough in a word, it looked more like a junkyard city, most of the metallic buildings rusted and some in need of repair, thrsahs everywhere and piles of machinery wherever extra space would be available. The townsfolk were mostly thugs, hooligans or tough looking mercenaries.
It was a bustling town at the least the ordinary folk being merchant or conmen, Luxis and Zoroark walked around looking around for a Pokemon center however it looked like, then after a short walk, out of all of the other metal buildings, rised a tall, white decent tower like structure, it did not have any signs it was a Pokemon center but it was the best place to start looking they thought. Luxis said "I hope that's it" Looking at the nearby structure. Zoroark nodded and said "Me too, i hope we made it on time." *they ran the rest of the junk strewn street and stormed the building, meeting with the green haired bandit once more. Luxis did not know if there were seconds passing or evenn minutes as they stared at each other in an awkward silence. Both the bandit and Luxis said in unison, yelling out "Grr! It's you again!"
Luxis was glaring at the bandit, and about to walk up to him until Arbok spoke weakly, saying it's pokemon name once. Luxis looked at her then back at the bandit furiously. "You know, if Arbok dies because of you i will kill you myself!" Luxis's threath had no effect as the bandit just scoffed and said "Not a good idea to act so tough when you are in our turf.
