Luxis was thinking it was over, that they somehow got lucky and managed to survive this beast's onslaught, that both Zoroark and Arbok would be safe.. but a bad feeling crept up in him making him stay on guard with his sword just in case. Zoroark jumped from the upper floor gracefully landing beside Luxis. He moved his head to look at her when she jumped at him for an embrace, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her body onto his. "W-we did it, you were amazing, Luxis!" She said looking at him. He started to smile as he stroked her back softly and said "You were great too, nah you were amazing too." Looking at her face he noticed how happy she looked and also just how beautiful she looked like smiling, as well as her eyes as his face and hers were close to each other. Still and unbroken silence filled the chamber as they looked into each other's eyes. Luxis felt the strange warm glow in his heart, deep affection towards her, the only thing he needed to know was if Zoroark felt the same way, he was still unsure even though his heart said otherwise. there was only one way to end the doubt, he slowly leaned closer to the Zoroark and she followed, leaning closer to each other they both slowly closed their eyes and as their lips were but seconds away from touching a loud thumping noise was heard along with a deep voiced growl emanated from the fallen beast, catching their attention. slowly the beast got on all fours again but something was happening to it. It's muscles on it's arms were bulgin and it's veins were showing, as it's body began to increase in size. Luxis was terrified since if before it was nearly impossible to defeat now that it has buffed up it would be impossible but then arbok would..
the beast's muscles were twice the size they were before. It let out an intimidating roar at the ceiling before glaring down at it's tiny opponents with it's bulging, eerie, yellow eye. Luxis staring at it's eye once more felt his body paralized with fear. "w-we should have grabbed the relic when he was down.." Luxis said . The beast pulled back it's arm. Luxis looked at Zoroark and saw that she too was not moving at all. Knowing of the outcome Luxis yelled "Zoroark, move it and stick with the plan!" Zoroark did not respond and the beast had already thrusted his fist at them. Luxis pushed her away with his free hand while putting the sword weilding hand out in front of him to try to block against the attack. Zoroark saw Luxis manage to block the attack surprisingly but only for a moment before he was sent flying crashing against the wall. The wall got badly cracked and Luxis was under an inmense pain taking over all of his body, he felt as if all his bones had cracked like the wall behind him. He bounced off the wall and landed flat on the ground, his sword laying beside him. He could hear Zoroark yell out "Luxis! Are you alright?!" But he could not respond however, he couldn't talk much less breathe well as the throbbing pain on his body was too much to even try to move his fingers to touch his sword. He was paralized from head to toe. He damned himself as he tried to breathe to stay conscious.
zoroark shut her eyes and looked away from Luxis as her runes glowed powered by her anger. She charged and tossed a shadowball hitting the beast where he was previously hit but after the blast it only seemed to hae brought it's attention to her. "no effect.." zoroark muttured to herself as the beast stared at her. Zoroark looked up at him growling, clenching her teeth as her claws emanated dark energy. Meanwhile Luxis's pain started to ease enough for him to reach out and grab his sword. "N..not gonna die... here..!" He said. The beast threw a right hook at her but missed as she leaped towards it's face and slashing with her darkness imbued claws she landed a critical blow right under the beasts eye which now was smeared with blood. Luxis managing to get up on his hands and knees feeling the pain slowly leave his body, he saw Zoroark dodging it's attacka and dealing slashes to it's face trying to land a critical hit again.
Luxis thought if she got a critical his on it's eye the battle would end soon, his cheeks tugged a faint smile through the pain. Zoroark managed to critically damage the beast's neck leaving a deep cut on it that splurted blood almost like a waterfall then ebbed. The beast roared in frustration unable to hit Zoroark who was jumping from pillar to pillar and wall to wall. Luxis was now standing, his body throbbing but not like before, his smile faded when the beast landed a punch on zoroark sending her crashing into a wall which heavily cracked then shattered, the rubble covering her body. Luxis felt the air around him grow cold as a chill went doen his spine, was zoroark killed just now? That thought got him to feel sick to his stomach for a moment before rage settled in. He ran to the hand supporting the beast's body since it's legs were crippled, he needed to stop it from attacking for a while to check on zoroark.
Luxis impaled the beast's fist then ripped the sword out leaving an open wound on he beast, who let out a loud growlat him glaring before reaching out to grab Luxis with it's other hand. Luxis leaped out of the way just as it closed its hand into a fist. Luxis knew attacking it's hands is a way to distract him and get him angry so he took the chance the beast was vulnurable in its rage so he ran up his stationed hand and leaped down from it, stabbing his sword on it's chest as he went down leaving a long wound on it , he then ducked avoiding being grabbed by it's hand. Luxis was using his rage to his advantage avoiding the beast's gaaze paralizing him. Luxis backed away from the beast waiting for it to make it's move when suddenly the sound of rocks falling caught his attention, the sound coming from where zoroark was buried. Luxis could not believe his eyes when he saw Zoroark emerging from the rubble.
Luxis was overcome with such relief he forgot he was fighting a giant corpse like monster who balled up it's hand into a fist and reached at luxis with it. Zoroark shook her head feeling dizzy still before seein Luxis who was able to block the attack at the last second as he said "Damn!" before being crushed against the wall his body stuck into the wall but he miraculously survived it. Luxis was using every ounce of strenght in his body to stay alive and moving. Hot red blood was moving down his forehead and onto theedge of his mouth, half his face painted red. He knew he was bleeding tasting his own blood, and he was bleeding a lot.. everything was dark as the beast kept pushing his fist onto him. for some strange reason Luxis could not feel much of the pain as sharp rocks dug onto his body and scraped it. One rock cut his shoulder deeply staining his arm with blood.
The beast started to pull back it's hand slowly looking to see if the intruder was skewered and crushed. Zoroark took this chance to use the pokemove punishment, dealing a dark slash that left a line of dark aura leave a huge gash on the beast's arm, which started to bleed badly, it's attacking arm leavinf a trail of red liquid. Luxis took a second to catch his breathe as Zoroark landed near him. "You alright?!" Zoroark said looking at his fresh wounds worriedly. Luxis tried to put on a smile before saying "I'm fine.. are ou hurt anywhere?" Luxis saw that Zoroark was covered in small cuts from hrad to toe but nothing serious. Right now Luxis was relieved to know she was still alive and not a lifeless body that he'd had to bury, to not lose her before he said something that was on his mind tormenting him. But he snapped out of thought and into reality, they needed a strategy or they'd be dead sooner or later. Luxis looked at zoroark right in her eyes and zoroark did the same "Zoroark, illusions" Luxis said, and she nodded knowing what he meant. Both ran in opposite directions then zoroark's eyes glew red for a second before Many Zoroarks and many Luxis's were scattered around the chamber.
Unfortunately the great wound given on his arm had stopped bleeding as it was already starting to heal. It had a confused expression on it's horrid face as it looked at the many Zoroarks and Luxis's, then suddenly it snapped swatting at the copies mad driven. Zoroark was actually atop of a pillar charging dark energy on her claws.. ecept it was not the same dark aura for night slash. Meanwhile the Real Luxis ran along with the copies with hopes that th e beast doe not pick to smash him anytime soon. The beast kept smashing the illusions in futility until realizing it was a trick, where it just stared at the copies carefully then looked at the real Luxis. "Damn, he knows i'm the real one" Luxis muttered not to let Zoroark hear since she would stop her attack to save him.. if this plan did not work then they would both die so he stood still in one place staring at the beasts eye, the beast tried to make it shine slightly to paralize him but it did not work this time, he had lost any fear except for losing Zoroark.
Luxis had one more strategy up his sleeve, if this monster is as dumb as it looks it should be easy to get it's attention. Luxis grinned knowing it would work as Zoroark kept her illusions going and charging up the pure darkness onto her claws which were being ingulfed by the black. As she watched the battle she muttured to herself "Why are you standing still?" Luxis thought since it was a type of Pokemon he could buy some time for Zoroark by using it. "Come on you evil eyes freak, let's see-"
the beast's eye let of a strange glow just as it saw Luxis reaching for his pokeball in his pocket which he cleaned in the lake earlier. Zoroark thought it was strange how the beast's eye glowed for that moment and said "what is it doing?"
Just as it's eye shot out a yellow laser of energy Luxis wide eyed quickly reacted running out of the way but the bast got to him pushing him to the floor. Luxis covered his head from the flying stones the blast sent in all direccions and though he was lucky to be alive. Gasping, thinking he was hit, Zoroark released her illusions not able to concentrate. The monster's eye glowed once more just when Luxis finished getting upon his feet. "Luxis run!" zoroark yelled and Luxis heard and looked to the beast seeing the glow of the laser and he ran out of the way, the laser nearly hitting his head and leaving a crater on the ground where it hit. "Ah, close one.." Luxis muttered, feeling his hands shake with both excitement and fear.
Well this makes another part, will either one survive? And what made this beast become like this? And what is Zoroark planning to do with t hat pure dark energy? owo/ i dont know either i forgot, i ave to keep reading my note book and re writing it here XD *pets zoroarks cheek softly and she suddenly nuzzles me and i pik her up in my arms* Lol friendly *she smack my head with paw and i look at her* why you do that for? *she licks my lips and i blush* ok i forgive you -/w/- Well laterz until next chapter.
