Chapter 17 - Hear
"I heard that you are going to the sea with Aragon and Gimli." Said Gandalf.
"Yes, I met someone like you yesterday. He helped me. I had a great feeling that it was you. Yes it is you, I recognize you voice. Thank you Gandalf." I said
Gandalf gave me a smile. I did not know how he came but I have to thank my life saver. Father gave me a smile. Gandalf told us about what had happened in Rivendell that Elrond had to hurry back. The elves in Rivendell had encounter some orcs living in the Misty Mountains nearby. They were the ones alive after the battle. Saruman had hid them in the mountain. I was shocked and told Gandalf about the orc in the falls in Mirkwood. He said that it might be the one who escaped out of the mountains. Gandalf told us to watch out for each other during our journey to the sea. Gandalf told Father that he had to be prepare for war which might occur anytime. I looked at Father. He seemed worried. I excused myself to go to the stable to search for Bright. Aragon and Gimli followed me. We leave Father and Gandalf to discuss about the orcs. Upon reaching to the stable, I went towards Bright's box and saw him resting. I fed him with some haystacks and some water. I brushed his soft and white fur. Aragon clean his horse while Gimli helped him. I was wondering if I had heard something strange. I heard Bright talking to me. What is happening to me.
"Master, how are you? Are you feeling better after some rest? I had been worried sick and hoped that you could heal better."
I rubbed his cheeks and told him that I am fine. What is going on? Is this my new ability or is this something good or bad? I told Aragon that I will be in the practice fields and whether he would like to follow me. Gimli sat under the tree upon reaching there. We sat there. I saw Aragon looking at me as if there was something that he would like to ask me and I know there is something that he wanted to ask.
"Aragon, what is it? You looked confused?" I asked
"How did you know I feel sorry about what happened yesterday night? I did not mention about it to you."
"I don't know Aragon and I heard Bright talking to me. I don't know what is happening to me." I said while looking at the sun setting
"Let's go and ask Gandalf about it. He might know for you had changed after you drank the elixir. He might know something and your Father. He will know about it." Suggest Gimli
I agree. We walked towards the castle with Aragon and Gimli. I reached up to Gandalf's room and gave a soft knock on his door. I heard Gandalf asking me to come in. Father was there talking with Gandalf. I would like to know and I will!
