**Sundance's POV**

Renegade and I were kept on-base for the duration of our repairs. Seeing as we'd be completely useless if offline.

While the absence of the looming threat of death was nice, it was boring as pit to be stuck in one place.

"Renegade…I'm bored…" I complained, looking over to see what my twin was doing.

"Go bug Barricade" she growled out "I'm busy right now"

"Fine…I will!" I huffed, pushing away from the wall I was leaning on and walking out of the room.

Where is Barricade anyway…I wondered as I strolled down the many halls. Corridor after corridor passed without a single sign of the mech. Where the frag….

"Sundance." I heard my name being called. "You and Renegade have been designated fit for duty. You two are to report to Lord Megatron immediately"

Turning to the owner of the voice I saw Barricade. "Aw and I had just found you. Or well you found me, really."

He let out an irritated sigh before repeating, "You are to report to Lord Megatron immediately…We can talk later." With that he turned and left.

"Okay then…" I mumbled to myself, heading tell Renegade of the update.

"Gade we've been declared fit for duty! We're to meet with Lord Megatron." I announced walking into the room she was in.

"Finally, it's so boring here!" Renegade replied, standing and leading the way to meet with Lord Megatron.

Our walk there was for the most part silent. The occasional shout could be heard in the distance as we continued down the halls.

"How long has this been going on, Starscream?" We froze outside a door as Megatron's voice sounded out from within.

"What are they talking about?" I whispered to Renegade. She shrugged at me in confusion.

"Since their return, Lord Megatron." Was Starscream's reply. "We must be careful so they don't learn the truth."

I turned to Renegade in shock. Did I hear that correctly?

"If they discover it was us who wounded them on Cybertron instead of Silverspark there will be hell to pay. Do you hear me, Starscream? Be sure they do not learn the truth." Sounded Megatron.

"No way…" Renegade whispered. "there's no way…"

I'd like to apologize for the long wait and the shortness of this chapter...

I've been extremely busy due to school related things and I hope you can forgive me. Luckily almost everything has been taken care of at this point.

Once again I'm very very sorry for leaving everyone like that.
