**Renegade's POV**
"There is no way in Pit that I just heard that right! Are you hearing what I'm hearing? By the All Spark what the frag is-" I was about to continue my rant when Sundance covered my mouth with a servo. She dragged me away from the door and back towards our room. She didn't release me until the door shut and I pushed her away. "I don't believe this! We've been tricked this whole time? What the frag are we supposed to do?"
"Calm down, 'Gade. We need to come up with a plan, and you freaking out isn't going to solve anything!" Sundance snapped. I groaned and rubbed my optics in frustration. This wasn't good; this wasn't good at all. After all this time, we were on the wrong side? Megatron was the one who attacked us? Silverspark is innocent? Sundance sighed so I looked up at her. "Jeez I can feel your panic through the bond."
"Don't blame me! How could we have been so stupid? We took Megatron's word over our own trinemate's! How could we have been so blind? For Primus' sake she gave us the true story and it was believable, yet we didn't listen to her!" I threw my servos in the air for added emphasis. She immediately became silent, and I knew she agreed with me on that. I pulled my pedes up onto the berth I was sitting on and hugged my knees to my chassis. "What are we going to do?"
"One thing's for sure: we can't stay here. The longer we stay the less likely Silverspark and the Autobots will accept us." Sundance grumbled. I reached hesitantly for Silverspark through the sibling bond, praying to Primus that for whatever reason it'd still be there. To my dismay, however, I could only feel Sundance. "You tried to feel her through the bond too?"
"Yeah, didn't work though." I grumbled. My processor scrambled to register everything that was going on. Okay, so Silverspark turned out to be innocent all along. Megatron was the one who attacked Sundance and I then led us to believe it was Silverspark. Sundance and I severed our bond with Silverspark which has now proven to be a terrible idea. I groaned and held my helm. Primus, if I keep this up I'm gonna end up crashing. I looked up when our door opened to reveal Barricade. "Oh, uh, hi Barricade."
"I thought you two were going to meet with Lord Megatron? He's getting really impatient." He said as he walked in. Sundance jumped up, grabbed him by the neck, and slammed him against the wall once the door shut. I jumped up and ran up to her to try and pry her off of Barricade, who looked truly surprised and a little scared. "What the frag are you doing, Sundance? Have you lost your processor?"
"You…you've been lying to us this entire time! You pretended to be our friend when you let us believe that our own sister attacked us! You fragging creation of a glitch!" Sundance growled. The look on his faceplate told us everything. He knew the entire time that Silverspark was innocent and that Megatron was the real reason that Sundance and I are Decepticons. "How could you? I thought you were our friend!"
"Megatron threatened to offline anyone who let you two know. He knew just how powerful a trine can be, and he didn't want the Autobots to have that power. I didn't know you two back then so I didn't really care, but by the time we became friends it was too late." Barricade growled. I finally managed to pull Sundance away and dragged her backwards. Barricade rubbed his neck cables with a frown. "I should offline you right now, Lord Megatron would want that."
"Then what are you waiting for?!" I snapped. He's really starting to try my patience. The tension in the air was practically tangible as we waited for someone to make a move. I knew that Barricade was tough and he could probably take us down on his own. If not, then he could always call in for backup and then we'd be neck deep in scrap. Barricade looked as though he was contemplating something.
"While I know that it'd be in the Decepticons best interest for you two to offline, I refuse to harm a friend." Barricade stated calmly. My optics widened as he approached us. "I suggest you two leave the Decepticon forces before Lord Megatron finds out. If he knew that you two found out the truth then we'd all be offline. I'll make sure you can get to the Autobots safely."
"What about you? If you help us and Megatron finds out later on you'll offline!" Sundance countered, suddenly taking his side. Now that we knew he wasn't going to hurt or betray us, we knew we had to do something to keep him safe. Sundance's wings perked up slightly in realization. "I know! Leave the Decepticons with us! We both know that you have been considering this for a while, so why not?"
"While you two have your trinemate, I have no one that would be willing to trust me within the Autobot forces. I'd have to go neutral to leave." Barricade scoffed. He paused and thought about it for a minute. He frowned slightly. "Well I may be able to do that, but it's risky."
"Well which would you rather do? Offline us for treason, walk away as if nothing happened, or go neutral?" I asked as I put a servo on my hip. He smirked and shook his helm. I knew what his answer was going to be. Megatron was definitely going to be pissed when he finds out that we're betraying him and the Decepticons.
::Renegade! Sundance! I thought I had Barricade send you to me at once! Where are you?:: Megatron yelled over a comm. link. Sundance and I groaned when we realized that we never went to talk to Megatron. Barricade shooed us out and led us to where Megatron, and undoubtedly Starscream, was.
::Our apologies, Lord Megatron, he just found us and we're on our way.:: I answered. This mission may be our one shot at joining the Autobots. I just hope we don't blow it.
