Naruto stayed at Suna for a year. Naruto had made a lot of puppets which were now kept in a storage scroll that had been a birthday gift from Temari.

The three siblings were surprised when Naruto had made his first puppet right after Kankuro had given him the supplies. The puppet was very good. It looked like himself. The puppet was covered with hidden compartments where poisoned weapons were kept. The puppet could also break into pieces with thin chakra connecting them.

Then Naruto had made small bugs that were for spying. He could see what they saw and hear what they heard. It was great for spying and was kept in a small storage scroll in one of the many pockets of his pant.

Kankuro was shocked when he had seen Naruto's puppets. He had learned puppeteering since he was a kid and he still couldn't make his own puppet.

Naruto had spent a lot of time with Gaara. Gaara was now open with showing emotions in his face but only when it was Naruto. Gaara had also learned a bit about puppeteering along with jutsus when Naruto had told him that he couldn't always depend on his sand.

Now they stood in front of Suna's entrance. Naruto was about to leave to travel to other countries. Naruto gave Gaara a paper with a seal and told Gaara that if he ever needed him then to just drop a bit of blood on it and he would appear.

Then he made a promise to them that he would come here again before going back to his village.

For 4 years, Naruto visited the other main villages. Staying one year in each village. He had even made friends with the other jinchurikis in their villages.

Before returning for Konoha, Naruto spent one more year in Suna. He spent the whole year telling Gaara about his travels and showing what he had learned.

When it was time for Naruto to go back to Konoha, he received a kiss on the cheek by Gaara, in private of course. And when they went to the entrance of Suna, Naruto had a face-splitting grin and Gaara was as red as his hair. Temari and Kankuro looked at eachother and then shrugged.

When Naruto entered Konoha, he saw the same guards there that were on duty on the day he left.

One of the guards saw him and asked, "State your name and your business."

"Uzumaki Naruto, coming back from training and going to meet the hokage."

"Wait here." The guard said then whispered something to the other guard and left.

After a while, he returned with the hokage. "Naruto, is that really you?"

"Yes, hokage-sama." Naruto said with a bow.

The hokage looked at Naruto for a while then said. "My! You have changed a lot."

And change he had. Naruto's hair reached his shoulder but was currently kept in a low ponytail and his fringe was covering his right eye. He wore a white mask, which he had bought in his second year in Suna, that covered his lower face.

He wore a white shirt that was half unbuttoned and showed the black fish-net shirt underneath. He wore a black pant that was shoved inside the calf-length combat boots he was wearing.

"It has been 6 years. So yeah I have changed. And I am allowed to go to the academy, right?"

"Yes, I have just finished giving your name to the academy."

"Do I still have my apartment?"

"Yes."

"Oh. Good then I will be on my way."

"The academy starts tomorrow at 7."

"Yes, hokage-sama." Naruto bowed then left.

Naruto reached his apartment in 5 minutes. The apartment was exactly as he had left except for the dusts that covered everything.

Naruto made 10 clones using Kage Bunshin to clean the house. Kage bunshin was a jounin level jutsu because of the chakra it used to make the clones solid. Naruto had tried a normal bunshin but he could not do it because of his huge chakra. Naruto had learned about Kage bunshin from one of Kyuubi's previous host along with some wind jutsu.

Since Naruto gained the abilities of Kyuubi's previous hosts after gaining their memories, Naruto had gained all the five elements. Even his mindscape had an area for the elements. The area was covered with fire with water in the fire was then surrounded by lightning. And in one corner of the lightning was a small hurricane with mud rotating in the middle. Naruto had also gained the wood ability from one of the hosts who had been a member of the senju clan. The wood ability made making puppets easier for him.

And now he was using the ability to make furniture. Two Naruto clones had used wind jutsu to clean the apartment of dusts. Four clones were taking the furniture already there and throwing them out of the window. Two clones were outside catching the furniture and setting them on the ground. The two clones that had cleaned the apartment raced to the window and jumped. One clone turned into an eagle and flew down, the other turned into a white tiger and ran down the wall of the apartment. Naruto had gained the ability to change into animals from a member of an extinct clan that used to live In Kumo.

After the two clones reached the other clones on the ground, they then proceeded to use new jutsus that they had learned to destroy the furniture.

Two of the four clones inside the apartment poofed out leaving the two clones and Naruto to make the furniture.

One of the clones stayed in the living room while the other went to the bathroom. Naruto himself went to the bedroom.

He made a huge bed, a cupboard, a shelf and a side table near the bed. He also made a smooth table with an equally smooth chair on one side of the room.

Naruto then took out two storage scrolls and opened it. One of the scrolls held photos of his time in all the villages and the other held vials filled with sand that he had brought for this reason.

He took out the pictures first and made wooden frames for them. By this time, the four clones from outside had returned to help Naruto. Naruto made the frames while two clones heated the sand to make glass. The other two clones fitted the glass in the frames and placed the photos inside them.

The two clones decorating the living room and the bathroom entered the bedroom and tool the finished pictures to hang it around the house.

The pictures with the jinchurikis from other villages were hanged in the bedroom while the other pictures were hanged in the living room.

After the clones finished their work they poofed out one by one. Naruto got their memories of all of them. That was also one of the advantages of kage bunshin. You get the memories of the clones after they poofed out. Naruto had learned the hard way to never vanish the clones at once, he had received a monster migraine. Even with Kyuubi's help, it had taken some time for the migraine to vanish.

Now Naruto was alone in his apartment. He looked at the window and was surprised to see that it was getting dark.

He went to the kitchen and began to put the foods from the storage scrolls into their place in the kitchen.

He had bought all the things needed from various villages. He took out the refrigerator that he had bought in Suna. The refrigerator there was a lot cooler than anywhere else. Because it was so hot in Suna, tourists sometimes opened their refrigerator and left it like that.

Naruto pluged in the refrigerator and found out that there was no electricity. He sighed then put his finger in the plug and zapped a little bit of electricity. Since electricity and lightning were the same, it was a great help during a black out.

After the kitchen, he went back to the bedroom. It was night time by now so he took off his clothes until he was on his boxers and then fell asleep before his head touched the pillow.

The next day, he woke up before the sun as it has been his habit. He changed into a pair of shorts and a black vest and went running. He ran 2 rounds around Konoha then practiced taijutsu above the hokage monument.

After that, he went home, showered and changed into clothes that were similar to the ones he wore yesterday except that the colours were opposite. He wore a black shirt that was unbuttoned to show the white fishnet shirt underneath. He wore a white pant and black combat boots. He wore the same mask from yesterday. His hair was set free and his fringe was swept back by a black hair band, with some hair being left out to cover his right eye.

Then Naruto went to eat breakfast. He remembered a place where he used to eat when he was young. It was the only place that allowed him to eat and they even allowed him to eat for free.

The ramen stand was exactly where it had been years ago, it hadn't changed a bit. Naruto entered Ichiraku Ramen and was greeted by the owner, who was also the cook.

"Wlcome to- Naruto, is that you?" Teuchi(?) asked with wide eyes.

Naruto chuckled. "You still remember me?"

"Of corse! Ah… you have grown up to be a very handsome teen, I bet that you will have a swarm of fangirls in no time."

Naruto laughed softly. "Well then they will be disappointed. I don't like girls that way."

"Ah! Then more chance for your fanboys."

"Now THAT is something I am looking forward to." He said then sat down on one of the stools.

"The usual, I guess?" Naruto nodded his head. "Ok then, one miso ramen,coming up."

The ramen was ready in no time and Naruto quickly ate it while Teuchi was attending to another customer.

"That was fast." Teuchi said.

"Yeah, I just remembered that I am almost late for the academy." He said then handed him some money.

"This is too much for just one bowl."

"The rest of the money is payment for all the free ramen that you gave me when I was small. I am very thankful for that, by the way. If it hadn't been for you I would've died of starvation a longtime ago."

"This is what this place is for, to feed the starving people."

Naruto smiled ten sad, "Well, I better get going. Don't want to be late on my first day."

"Come again.'

"I sure will!" they waved at eachother then Naruto jumped on a rooftop and made his way towards the academy.

When Naruto reached the door of his classroom, he could hear screaming and loud laughing from inside.

'This is going to be my classroom for 3 years? I am doomed.' Naruto thought.

Naruto sensed someone approaching from behind and turned around. A chunin with a spiky ponytail and a scar across his nose came into view.

"Can I help you?" the chunin asked with a small smile.

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto and this is my first day."

"Ah! The new student. My name is Umino Iruka. I am the teacher for your class." Iruka said then opened the door to the classroom.

The screams and shouts became even louder without the barrier and Naruto had to hold his sensitive ears.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Iruka screamed silencing the class immediately. "Now, before we start today's lesson. I want to introduce you to our new student. Uzumaki Naruto."

Naruto stepped inside the classroom and all eyes zeroed on him. He could see the heart-shaped eyes on the girls and boys. The only one who didn't have those eyes on him was a pink-haired girl who had heart-shaped eyes turned towards a dark-haired boy whose hair was in the shape of a duck's butt. The boy had heart-shaped eyes towards him and he could even see a bit of drool on the side of his mouth. Naruto suddenly shuddered.

"Naruto, you can sit wherever you want. The class will welcome you with open arms, right class." Iruka said.

There were immediately shouts of affirmative. Naruto looked around the classroom and sound an empty seat between a sleeping spiky brown haired boy and a fat boy that had thankfully normal eyes and was eating a bag of chips.

He went towards the seat followed by the eyes of everyone in the class. When he sat down on the seat, there were shouts of complains.

"SHUT UP! AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE BOARD!" Iruka screamed and immediately everybody looked at the board where there were things written about chakra.

The sleeping boy next to Naruto looked at Naruto through the space between his arms and introduced himself. "My name is Nara Shikamaru." And the one eating the chips also introduced himself. "And my name is Akimichi Choji."

"Ah! The future Ino-Shika-Cho. My name is Uzumaki Naruto. Where is the Ino?"

Choji pointed towards a blonde haired girl who was sneaking glances of the duck-butt hair and him.

"The next Ino is a girl? Well, that's a bummer."

Shikamaru sat up then, "You know, I like you. We have the same views on girls. They are so annoying and they order the men to do their work."

"Speaking from experience?" Naruto questioned and a blush appeared on Shikamaru's cheeks. "You know something, you look cute with a blush." Shikamaru's blush darkened and he quickly hid his face between the table and his arms.

Naruto chuckled then he too put his head between his arms and fell asleep.
