Hey guys!

So you're probably wondering, "Geez, why is this guy never posting new chapters?" The answer is,

I'm a bad author. And I need to be punished. *Hangs head in shame*

But awesomeness is OTW! New stories, new characters, new fanfics!

And I'm also considering a lemon . . .

Anyways, I'm trying to belt out this story at an acceptable rate, but I'm not sure it's cutting it.

Enjoy the chapter!

The Teen Titans walked on.

After Night had finished telling the story about her rebirth, they stood in silence for like, two minutes until Starfire started quietly sobbing into her hands. Beast boy sat down on a chair and put his hands on his head while he tried to accept the fact that his crush had been turned from a cheerful, pretty blonde-haired girl who memorized the location of the best apple pie in the world into a demonic being who was bent on death and destruction.

After a brief respite, the Titans, Slade, and Night formulated a plan, which they were doing right now. It was desperate, suicidal, and it will likely get them all killed.

Just another walk in the park, right?

Robin walked in front, flanked by Starfire and Cyborg to the right and BB and Raven to the left. They all wore grim, determined expressions. They knew that Terra had grown even more powerful than she already was, and now she lacked any of her compassion or mercy obtained in the past.

They neared the gigantic, steep-sided crater that had been deemed the de facto Ground Zero, the place where Terra first hit. It was the theme park where Terra had betrayed Beast Boy.

Robin stopped and turned to his team. He looked at his friends, his best friends, his lifelong friends, and realized that this battle will probably be the last that they will ever have.

And then, he looked to Starfire. So beautiful with her dark skin, red hair, and green eyes. She wore the same defiant look on her face that she had when she crash-landed in Jump City. But her eyes shone with sadness and fear.

Robin spoke. "Guys, there's a good chance that this is the last time we'll ever see each other together like this again. Terra is stronger than ever, and she will show no mercy towards us," his voice caught a little at the last word. He cleared his throat and continued speaking, "but I just want you all to know now, that if we die today, there is no place where I could find a better team. I'm proud to be your leader, and your friend."

Beast Boy walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder and talked with slightly surprising certainty. "Think positive. We will beat Terra. We will make it. And I will personally drop-kick Night into the ocean."

Robin cracked a smile. "I'll flip you for it."

He turned to the crater, where deep down, he could see a bit of yellow and black. He took a deep breath, and jumped.

Night's Hideout

Slade and Night worked side by side, working with long titanium rods and various electronics. Each part had to be attached to its companion, some smaller than a pin head. The electronics had to be coded, calibrated, tweaked, and then placed to the main structure. It was incredibly, indescribably difficult.

They worked for about half an hour, not communicating to each other in any way, until Slade suddenly spoke. "How ironic."

Night was silent.

He spoke again. "Once enemies and rivals, now we're working side by side as allies, against a common enemy. How storybook." Slade smirked under his mask. "But maybe we can learn something from this. Maybe we can be perm-"

Night suddenly interrupted him in mid-sentence. "Slade, are you honestly trying to talk to me? We are enemies. That is that. So shut up and let me work."

The two men were silent. They kept working.

The Titans fought Terra.

Starfire blasted starbolts more powerful than ever before. Cyborg shot massively powerful sonic blasts. Raven (whose power colors were now red) blasted superhot bolts of energy. Beast Boy charged as a rhino, his horn sharp and terrible. Robin punched and kicked with a ferocity that the other titans had never seen.

Still, it wasn't enough.

Terra blocked or dodged everything that the team threw at them. She kicked Robin into the ground and shot a needle-sharp chunk of stone at Cyborg. (Who dodged just in time to avoid getting impaled)

Starfire charged through the air, starbolts in hands. With a great roar, she thrust her fists forward with with enough force to crush a three foot-thick chunk of granite into crumbles.

About a second after she realized that she had missed, Starfire was sucked underground into a hole about a mile deep.

"NOO!" Robin screamed. He looked to Terra with a look of pure, absolute contempt. He rocketed at her, staff drawn, blade razor sharp. He jabbed his spear forward, but Terra was ready. Acting fast, she parried his blade with stone gauntlets and grabbed his throat. She was still for a moment while she peered into his face. Her lips turned into a cruel smile. Robin kicked solidly in the stomach, forcing her to let him go.

She spoke, "So where's Slade, Robin? Hiding in a cave while you five risk your lives trying to defeat me? Typical. He always was a coward!"

At the last word, she summoned a rock and stone column below her feet and stood at the top. She then sat down and held out her arms. Deep from within the earth, indescribably strong stone was hauled up and surrounded the standing girl. The Titans attacked it relentlessly, and it wasn't until the dome fell clattering on top of each other did they stop. The four heroes/heroines witnessed their demonic friend raising her hands, which caused deep, powerful, skull-vibrating rumbles. Acting quickly, Robin raised his staff and threw it at Terra as a javelin, it's crescent-shaped blade catching the glint of the weak afternoon sun. But what he didn't know was that Terra possessed a small form of Trigon's omniscience. She "saw" the spear hurtling through the air and caught it midflight. In a flurry of motion, she turned it around and threw it back at him.

Starfire climbed to the surface just in time to see his own staff sail into Robin's chest.

OH, SNAPS! Didn't see that coming, did you?
