Well, here goes. I don't own anything. Wow it really has been a while.

C is for Coloring

It was the weekend before Easter, and everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom was happily making preparations for the Easter Bunny. Brightly colored eggs, confetti, and peeps were gleefully passed around the Toads and other Mushroom Kingdom dwellers. Even the usually grouchy Goombas were jolly on this day.

Mario and Luigi were no different. They spent the day preparing just like everyone else. As the Bros. were just beginning to color eggs, Mario looked over at Luigi's egg and inquired, "Shouldn't you use a different color?" Luigi looked up and raised an eyebrow, "A different color?" The red plumber nodded, "Yeah. That color's too dark. It'll look weird." Luigi pouted and in an almost arrogant voice mumbled, "Well I like it." Mario shrugged and they left it at that.

When the Bros. were done coloring, they scattered the eggs all around the yard. Luigi placed his darkly colored egg at the center of the yard. Without saying a word, Mario walked up and moved it. Slightly annoyed, Luigi moved it back to where it once was. Mario saw this and moved it again. Then Luigi moved it. This continued for about five minutes until Luigi got fed up. He grabbed a can of paint and a brush, then ran up to Mario. As soon as Mario turned around, Luigi smacked him with the paintbrush, painting his face dark blue. Mario glared and grabbed a can of yellow paint and threw it at him with all his might. Luigi ducked however, and the paint ended up hitting a nearby Toad that was passing through.

Now an all out paint war had begun. Mario and Luigi grabbed any and all the paint that they could carry. Reds, blues, greens, basically any color you could name was used. Their yard looked like a rainbow just fell from the sky, and the Bros. themselves looked no different.

There was one can of paint left. Mario and Luigi made a mad dash for it, hoping to land the final strike on the other. Both Bros. grabbed the paint can and were now playing tug of war for it. However, neither bro knew that the can was open. Sliding on the now wet grass, Mario and Luigi threw the paint can in a random direction, and in that direction stood Princess Peach, holding a cake for Mario and Luigi. She screamed as the cold liquid splashed all over her and her now ruined cake. With their actions now sinking in, the Mario Bros. gulped in fear of what the princess would do. Shooting each other a quick glance, Mario and Luigi ran for the hills, while being chased by Peach who was holding a frying pan. Many onlookers raised a brow or giggled when they passed by, but one thing was certain. Mario and Luigi screwed up. Big time.

Well, there ya go! Lol this was fun to write, and imagine! So, consider this my belated Easter / compensation gift. Or just a gift. Again, I'm really sorry about the wait. But I'm back, so the fun shall continue! Lol happy belated Easter!
