After a stressful year of touring Eddie Duran looks out of the plane window, the final stretch in his sights. It was beginning to look familiar, a sight not seen in a long time. It was home, Los Angeles had always been home. Touring was something he would try to never give up with the atmosphere and the buzz and the longing too make every show different. He had the life he had always dreamed of, the success, the supermodel girlfriend and the best support unit a guy could have. The puzzle had always seemed to be missing a piece and the cold stare he was giving the window showed he was determined as ever to find the missing piece.
Eddie could hear the rustling of Jake constantly tapping out on his phone doing the best he could to get the perfect opportunities for Eddie consistently, whereas Jake's mood completely contrasted the mood of Chloe who was huffing and puffing at her phone poking at it constantly. Jake was the perfect manager, steering Eddie in all the right directions from day one, being everything Eddie ever needed as a manager and also as a loyal friend who he could rely his whole career on.
Chloe wrinkles her nose whilst trying to get Eddie's attention. "What's going through your pretty little head?"
Eddie sighs, longing to try to tell Chloe the truth for a change, their relationship had always been rocky and the feeling he was never himself around her came with their relationship. "Just nervous, home crowds always get me more riled up"
Chloe plasters on that smile, the smile that tells me she wants to care, but she doesn't, not at all. "You know what good performances make baby, good performances equal more money and more money equals a happy Chloe"
The one thing out of everything that Eddie wishes Chloe would change about herself is her being completely self obsessed. When he first met her she was gorgeous, and her beauty blinded Eddie into taking in how horrible her personality actually was. The cameras loved them together, always raging about them in public. It always stumped Eddie how Chloe could be the sweet person in front of the cameras and then bitch about what the reporter was wearing twenty seconds later, girls were something Eddie Duran had not gotten his head over.
Not wanting to dwell on his failing relationship any longer, Eddie drifted into the paradise world of his mind, for an escape from Chloe and her drama for the remainder of the flight.
The beautiful brunette stood on the sidelines, nodding her head and tapping along to the music as she looked on to her handsome boyfriend rocking out like he did every night. Smiling enough to brighten the whole room he finishes the song and glides over to her. "You were brilliant out there tonight babe, they loved you",
He beams back at her showing off his trademark grin, head falling back into laughter loving the support she always showed him. "They love you just almost as much as I do, better get back out there for your encore.
He smiles back at her. "Nah, they can wait" tugging her down and attaching their lips together, instantly moulding together as he smiles into the kiss.
A hard hit to the head, knocks Eddie immediately out of his dream. Chloe smiling at him, "Dreaming about me again babe?" she asks
He laughs, awkwardly he must admit but at least he didn't wince. "Yeah that was it" He felt truly bad that the girl in his dream hadn't been Chloe but what could he do, he doesn't control his dreams. Things hadn't been right with Chloe in a long time, and he'd just not had the guts to think about it up to now. I glanced down at my phone hoping Twitter could distract me, scrolling through my mentions one thing stuck me out of nowhere. I felt kindly surprised it wasn't a usual message asking for a follow or a spam, it was a few sentences that I would never forget for the rest of my life
