Let's see how things turn...

Chapter 8

The Weasleys were settling down for dinner, getting the plates ready and freshening up. Harry and Ron were playing wizard's chess in the living room, they were almost done when they heard a crack. Fred appeared with a smirk.

"Pawn, 5c, Harry"

"Oi!" Ron said.

"5c," Harry grinned.

Harry's pawn moved and fell in front of Ron's knight. The piece took out it's little swords and cut the horse piece in half, Harry laughed.

"What'd you do that for?!" Ron asked his older brother.

Fred only chuckled and left to the kitchen. Where Ginny, George and Molly were.

"Oh, Fred!" Molly saw him first and went to hug him.

"Hi, mum." He mumbled over her head and George looked down, while Ginny smiled at her brother. "Is there a plate for me?"

"Of course there is!" Molly said, patting his chest before reaching for an extra plate.

"I'll wash up, quickly." Ginny said, getting up.

She left and Fred was quick to pull the chair that she was in, beside George.

"Hey," Fred said low, George didn't respond.

"Dinner's ready!" Molly yelled, saving George.

The rest came and sat around them, no one asked why Fred was there or what was going on between them, only how was the shop going and if Bay would join them for dinner before they, Ron, Harry and Ginny, left for Hogwarts. Fred said he could arrange it, but it would have to be in a few days or probably the next week, it depended on a situation she was in. Of course he meant him. Fred tried small talk between his twin, who nodded, shook his head or 'yes' and 'no' his way through.

After dinner, George was the first one to leave. Fred dropped his fork and followed.

"You're being a prat." Fred said, grabbing George's shirt and pulling him up the stairs.

"I'm being a prat?!" George snapped, trying to push Fred away, but his grip and pull was tight and strong.

Fred shoved George in their room and shut the door behind him, then he charmed it, so no one could hear, followed by locking the door.

"Yes! You won't let me talk to you!"

"Enough small talk then!" George said.

"I love Bay." Fred said, serious and George's eyes widened. "I realize I was stupid…and I'm very glad you caught us-I mean, I might still have feelings for Angelina, but Bay…" Fred walked to his bed and sat there, "she's with me right now. She really likes me…and if you said she told you she was falling in love with me then…It's a safe landing, you know what I mean?" George hesitated, and nodded, Fred got up, "I feel really bad about what I did. I wasn't thinking straight-I was just…It was kinda exciting when Angelina wrote to me and the thought of meeting in secret, but I know that if you hadn't caught us I'd probably had bashed my head against a wall the next day and I couldn't live with out telling Bay about it."

"Then why don't you?" George said, cold.

"Can't we just forget it happened?" George shook his head quickly to his brother's request, "Nothing happened after all, other than kissing."

"You were about to do more-and you told me to distract her! You asked me keep her away while you sneaked off with Angelina!"

"I know!" Fred placed his hands on his brother's shoulders, "And I feel bad-I thought that if I told Bay what I was going to do, she might have not been too convinced."

"Oh, well, I can see why." George said and tilted his head.

Fred sighed, trying no to grin, "Please, Georgie…let's forget about it, go back to the flat and the shop, she misses you-I miss you, and she's worried about us."

"I…" George paused as he slowly took Fred's hands off him, "I don't know if I can."

"It'll hurt her if you tell her…I don't wanna hurt her. I already talked to Angelina, she feels bad too and she agreed not to mention it to anyone."

"But she fancies you…and you still fancy her."

Fred hesitated, "I need to figure that out, but I know I fancy Bay more…and if she loves me, that's enough…plus, she's one of our best friends. I know you miss being around her."

George slipped his hands in his pockets and sighed, he did missed being around Bay and the shop.

"I'll do it…I'll go back-IF you promise to never, ever do that again-with anyone." George said, poking Fred's chest, "Never lie to Bay again, and we act like nothing happened that week. Nothing."

Fred nodded slowly, accepting, he was alright with the not lying or hurting Bay, but he was still curious of what the howler said and why it was addressed to Bay, but maybe George would come around and tell him someday. George gathered his things quickly, both went to say goodnight and goodbye to their family, and Fred confirmed Bay would come over before Hogwarts started. They arrived at their flat, but there wasn't much talk, they took showers and went to bed. The next day, when Bay arrived to work, Fred was at the cash register and George was going down the stairs.

"Dear, I found a lost puppy," Fred said, walking to her, "can we keep him?" He looked at his brother, grinning and George smiled while Bay let out a small gasp.

"I don't know, honey, Rocky might be jealous."

"No worries, I think you have enough with Fred," George said, walking to them, "at least I clean after myself."

Bay hugged him and he didn't deny her, but it was short.

"I'm glad you're back," she said stepping away, "so everything sorted between you two?"

"Yeah." Both said, George less convinced than Fred.

"Good, because that week was awful, never fight- at least pretend everything's alright like parents do in front of their child, for me."

She gave Fred a small slap on his cheek and went to work. The twins smiled at each other, but when Fred turned away, George's slowly faded and he looked up at Bay going up the stairs. If she only knew, would she still feel the same towards Fred? He wondered if she had already fallen for him completely. Fred and her were about a week alone in the shop, without him to interrupt their make out sessions or catch them fooling around.

It was a slow day, so the trio agreed on having lunch earlier. Fred was the one to leave and get them something to eat while George and Bay stayed to attend the 5 or 7 people in the store. When it looked everyone had no questions or comments, George joined Bay at the stairs over the check-out counter.

"Things were pretty quiet around here while you were gone." Bay said when he arrived and he scoffed, not believing it.

"That's 'cause you forgot to turn the sign to 'open' before you started to snog in a corner." He grinned and she laughed a little.

"It wasn't like that," she lowered her head, "Fred was pretty quiet. Only on the shop's busy days he was most active." She looked at him again, "If there weren't many customers he would leave me on the floor while he kept an eye on the place from here." He hummed, still not believing her, so she tilted her head, frowning at him because she knew he didn't believe her, so she changed the subject, "We need to find you someone to snog."

"I'm perfectly fine."

"Yeah, sure- what about Katie Bell?" She turned to him in a jump, "Do you still talk to her?"

He laughed, "In some terms, yeah. I think she's with someone though." He wasn't sure, but he didn't want Bay setting him up.

"What about Luna?"

"Luna Lovegood?" He asked and she nodded, "She's my sister's friend."

"But I saw you talking a few times!"

"I recall once, Bay!"

"And you looked precious." She smiled and he laughed again.

"She's a girl, younger"

"And you're such a grown man, George Weasley" She rolled her eyes, and he scoffed again. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him serious, "What about Harry?"

"Now you're mad, Bay Miller!"

"Just asking." She said, raising her hands.

"Someone needs a check-out, go!"

She pushed him out of the way and went down with a 'we're not done!' and he went down the other way, ignoring her.

On August 30, it was the night the trio headed to the Burrow to have a farewell dinner for the Hogwarts students, even if they still had one more night in between, everyone was available that night. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny were glad to have Bay there. Harry was grateful with her because she, like the twins, joined Dumbledore's Army and since she stayed after Fred and George left, she was alert of his plans of leaving Hogwarts to save Sirius, worked as a decoy and kept an eye out until they returned to make sure everyone was alright. Ron liked her because even if she was Fred's girlfriend and George's best friend, she would side with him when the twins took their pranks with him too far. Hermione trusted her because she proved loyalty since she met her and is a good study buddy. And Ginny also liked her for making her friends and brothers happy and they always had a nice chat; she had also, along with Hermione, given her a few tips on Harry. Another thing why Hermione liked her, she agreed and understood why she told Ginny to relax around him and other advices.

Before dinner, the kids were in the living room and Bay asked how they felt about going back to Hogwarts. Ginny told her how Molly had freaked out and said it was dangerous for them to go back to Hogwarts.

"Dumbledore is still there, though." Bay said, looking at each face in case she missed something.

"Apparently, that's not enough for many parents." Harry said.

"They aren't wrong, Harry," Hermione told him, "Hogwarts might be a safe place, but it doesn't make it the safest."

"He won't let anything happen to any of you, less Harry." Bay said before drinking from a glass.

"If Voldemort happens to enter Hogwarts grounds, he won't be alone." Ron said.

"You've got your own army after all, don't you, Harry?" Fred said, reminding him he still has support.

"You three already left," Ron added.

"It doesn't mean we won't come when you call." Bay said.

"The problem aren't numbers, people mostly wonder how will Dumbledore manage." Hermione said, looking down.

"What do you mean?" Asked George.

"He's old." Ron said, bluntly. "How can he take on Voldemort when he just got back like new."

"He must have a plan." Harry defended, "We've seen all he has done- he fought him off in the Ministry last semester!"

"Yeah, and it's only been about 2 months since." Fred said, "How old do people think he is to think he can't handle it."

"And protect that castle. He knows how many people love it." Bay finished.

"What are you lot talking about?" Arthur came in, having heard the last few lines.

"School," Ginny said.

"Ah, well hope it's on how you can get your grades better and not things that you shouldn't be worrying about." He looked at the young ones, "And I hope no one is giving you any ideas on how to blow up the school or any kind of advice even though they no longer attend Hogwarts." He looked at the older trio.

"It's kind of hard to ignore it when even muggles know there's something wrong." Hermione recalled and Mr. Weasley shut his lips and gave a like nod.

"Dinner will be ready soon, don't fill up on treats."

"I heard there will be a wedding." Bay said to change the subject while he left the room. Ginny groaned and Hermione shook her head lightly.

"Looks like inviting Tonks for dinner isn't working." Hermione said.

"I've got it, before Fleur says 'I do', let's push her away and place Tonks in front of Bill." Ginny said, getting out a laugh from the rest.

"She's not that bad." Fred said.

"Of course, the guy who doesn't live here anymore would agree." Ginny said quickly and bitter, the twins laughed and looked at each other.

"I could get used to a sister-in-law like her." George said.

"Says the other idiot who doesn't live here." Ginny added.

"I hear ya." Fred said, agreeing with George and Bay turned her head to him, arching an eyebrow. "I meant Ginny."

"Hm, well she's lucky," Bay smiled and looked back at the girls, "Bill is very handsome. I would gladly take Fleur's place." Harry and the girls grinned, but it looked like it made the Weasley brothers uncomfortable.

"I never said she was pretty." Fred said.

"I hear ya." She mocked him and George joined the grinning.

Molly called them for dinner and they joined, Fleur and Bill were there also and Bay could see why the girls didn't like her much. Bay didn't hate her, but she knew she would if she had to be with her 24/7. Of course she kept an eye on Fred's stare and he would do the same when Bill asked her questions. All innocent, to know his brother's girlfriend, but the comment Bay made got him suspicious. But after the meal, before desert, Bay excused herself to the bathroom and Fred caught her before she came down. His hands grabbed her waist and pulled her to him.

"You're playing a dangerous game." He said, smirking and she smiled innocently.

"Fred Weasley jealous?" She said, tilting her head.

"You know I have all kinds of jealousy. And this one is playful, with a side of tease."

He started to kiss her and she had no plan on stopping. She wanted to see where the game took her and how she could play back. The kisses were slow and deep. But when she pulled back, he move forward to continue. His lips traveled to her neck and he bit lightly before going back to her lips. She grabbed his button shirt as if she was going to rip it open, he hoped. He slid one hand down, over her butt and the back of her thigh, bringing it up and got her close. She only continued to play along, but she was liking how her pulse ran. He rested back on the wall and it made it looked like she had him trapped. Her hands wondered down to his hips and two of her fingers dug on his pants to pull him even closer. He was loving it so much he had forgotten his parents would be there in 5 seconds. He raised his hands, surrendering and widened his eyes when he heard footsteps.

"Bay, no, we're in my parent's house!" He said parting from her lips.

She looked back and saw Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, with Bill behind and George beside him. And there was Bay, trapping their son with a leg almost by his waist and hands grabbing his pants. She blushed and got apart from Fred.

"George told us the cabinet in the bathroom had fallen on Bay." Arthur said, surprised and a little embarrassed.

"She made it up to get me running into a small space." Fred said, looking at her like a winner.

"No, I'm fine." Bay said quickly, still red and covering her mouth.

"Well, desert's on the table." Molly said, also stiff and turned around to leave.

Arthur followed with an awkward smile while Bill chuckled with George. Bill left and Bay glared at George who stopped chuckling and left. She looked at Fred, he had no trouble laughing in her face. He stepped forward, but she pinned him into the wall again and got closer, lips almost rubbing but when he moved to kiss her, she pulled back, but kept him pin and frowning.

"I'll get you." She whispered, letting her breath brush his mouth.

She kissed him as slow as he did, but one hand let go of his arm and went down. His heart started to beat faster when she passed his chest, then his stomach and waist. She fell on one thigh and went in between, feeling his warmth. She grabbed up and he gasped in the kiss as she massaged him, but kept him glued to the wall with her other hand. The remaining hand went to his hair to pull it as she kissed his neck and he let out a sigh. She kept her hand between his legs and her movement slowed down, then picked up to slow down again. Under the fabric, she felt him getting hard and she grinned before catching his lips again. She moved her hand up and let it rest on his waist so she could get closer and let his hard-on feel between her legs, at least a little, over her jeans. Her left hand was still pulling and going through his hair, adding the tingling and soothing sensation in his head and down his body.

She stopped and got apart, smiled at him and walked down. He sighed and moaned in complain, which she heard and laughed. She found George on her way down who smiled at her and reminded her they were in his parents house with company.

"I just needed to teach him a lesson." She said, looking up and left to the dining room.

George knew what lesson she taught Fred. He had seen everything since Fred put him up to it. He had to see when Fred gave him the signal to get his parents, which was her leg up his and her pulling him instead of the other way around. Then he saw how she played back and wished nothing more than to tease her that way and get that kind of punishment, maybe more. It might have been the first time he had thought of those kinds of things with Bay. He always had in mind he wanted to start slow with her, if given the chance. But seeing that and how she handled Fred made him wish Fred would like to play the changing places game so he could get the chance. Or just take Bay for himself.

"Mom?! Dad?!" She yelled.

...

"It's your funeral." He said, shrugging lightly. "Crucio!"

...

"It's dad," he said before George could read it well, "he said he wants us home before noon."

"Why?" George asked, taking his brother's word and not reading it.

"I don't know, says it's important and if Bay is with us that she should come too."

...

"What's going on?" George asked.

"Where's Bay?" Arthur asked.

"She didn't show up."

...

"But Bay?" George asked.

"We don't know where she is, that's why we sent for you." Arthur said.

"We think maybe he didn't get her and only said that to make Martin believe he had lost her too, but how he was, we also believe they fought." Lupin commented.
