Chapter 3 - Impure Thoughts

As Brad and Janet followed their hosts though the castle, Brad kept catching himself watching Calicia's backside and hips as they swayed back and forth as she walked. She was a stunning young woman. The things he wanted to do to her...

No, Brad told himself. You don't have feelings like that for anyone except Janet. Truth be told, after That Night, Brad and Janet had rushed into moving in together and planning the wedding, hoping that by doing so, they would get some sense of the life they had back. At first, it had been easy to block the memories out. But as time went on, both of them started having dreams. Janet found herself dreaming, not only about Frank, but about Rocky as well. And Brad's dreams were just as impure as Janet's, though they always involved other women, women he had never seen before. Figuring the wedding plans were the culprit (let's face it, stress really can mess with your dreams), Brad suggested he and Janet take some time off. But their planned weekend at their lake cabin took a back seat to reality when Brad turned the car down the long winding driveway that ended at the front door of The Frankenstein Place. He wasn't sure why he had steered down the driveway, but he had. And now, inside the castle once again, vastly inappropriate thoughts revolving around Frank's girlfriend were playing on repeat in Brad's head.

"Well, this can be your room," Frank said, stopping in front of an oak door. "You have free run here, so go where you like and do as you like. Calicia and I are going for a stroll in the gardens, so if you need anything, Magenta is at your disposal." Frank interlaced his slender fingers with Calicia's and the two left their guests to get settled in.

"Brad dear? Are you alright?" Janet asked, closing the bedroom door.

"Yes, Janet. I'm fine." Brad lied, trying his best not to sound distracted.

"Are you sure? You seem...distracted."

"I'm fine, Janet." Brad replied, a little too shortly. Janet looked hurt at Brad's words. Brad sighed and took Janet into his arms and kissed the top of her head.

"I'm sorry, Janet. I've just been stressed planning the wedding." He couldn't bring himself to tell the woman he was marrying in a week's time of the thoughts in his head. That just wouldn't be proper. So he opted to go fetch their travel bags from the car while Janet took a nap.

Brad made his way to the front of the castle and stepped out the front door. It was gorgeous day. Sun shining, no clouds, warm but not overbearingly so. It was no wonder Frank and Calicia had decided to enjoy some time outside. He was halfway to the car when he saw Calicia. She was alone, tending to the roses. A fitted black tank top covered her from the waist up and from the waist down, skinny jeans flaunted the curves of her hips, her legs, and a very cute ass. Even with her hair in a messy bun and dirt on her hands and arms, she was breathtaking. And that's when the thoughts rushed back into Brad's head. Of Calicia, on her back, eyes full of lust, breathing his name...

Brad yanked himself out of his thoughts and made himself busy grabbing the bags from the trunk of the car and hurrying back inside. Staying at The Frankenstein Place might not have been such a good idea after all...
