Aelita Stones woke up each morning, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, just happy to be who she was, and where she was. Some days it was easier than others. And every so often Aelita would ponder her situation.
She had never had a normal life, nor a perfect one, yet still she never lost hope. Sometimes she wondered what public school might be like, not living at the same place that she was being taught. It was an interesting concept that she toyed around with from time to time.
And what about having an ordinary family? That's something she might have had around the ages of 3 or 4. Following that, her whole world began a complicated and chaotic downward spiral. Even now, seemingly done with XANA, she still carried her past with her, mind and spirit.
It would never leave, and in someways that was good. The troubled childhood and mental turmoil were only definitions of what she was capable of, not limitations. But that still didn't change her yearning for the unreachable. Aelita Stones, like all kids in this world, just wanted to be normal.
