Chapter 2: Captured

Hades' POV (unknown location)

I woke up with a throbbing headache and ropes around my wrists and ankles. A dim light illuminated the large room, wait, why am I in an abandoned warehouse? I soft groan reaches my ears and I look around.

"Poseidon?" I asked, catching sight of my brother.

"Ugh. Where in Tartarus are we?" Poseidon asked with a groan.

"No idea." I replied.

""Where's Zeus?"

"Over here." Came a small voice that didn't sound at all like Zeus.

Poseidon and I both looked in the direction of the voice and both of us stared at the figure leaning against the wall. It was Zeus, but as a kid.

"Zeus?" I asked, confused.

"Don't look at me like that; you two got deaged, too." Zeus said.

I looked over at Poseidon and saw Zeus was right. Whoever had taken us had apparently deaged all of us.

"So, my grandchildren, how do you like your new forms?" a voice whispered, seeming to come from the earth itself.

"Gaea." I muttered.

Zeus and Poseidon were instantly at my side. Clearly, we had all had the same idea. Safety in numbers. Even if that number was small.

"Where are you?" I asked, instinctively preparing myself to raise an army of skeletal warriors.

"I am everywhere, I am the Earth itself, you should know that." Gaea's voice said.

A woman's form appeared in the dust, her face looking like she was waking up, but not yet fully awake.

"What do you want, Gaea?" I ask, gently nudging Zeus and Poseidon behind me.

"You're children are heading to the Doors of Death as we speak, you know this Hades. You spoke with your daughter."

I winced as my head began hurting, even though I wasn't flickering from Roman to Greek form, I still seemed to be affected by the fighting between the demigods.

"That does not answer our question, Gaea." Poseidon growls, one arm around Zeus protectively, though he doesn't seem to notice.

"If the Seven manage to succeed in closing the Doors and defeating me, which is very unlikely, I still want to make sure they do not have complete victory." Gaea said."Not that they will succeed, your son, Poseidon, is in Tartarus as we speak, and your son, Zeus, is struggling to lead. Such disappointments."

Poseidon winced at the mention of Percy and Zeus winced at the mention of Jason. I felt anger rising in me at Gaea as well as a fierce desire to protect my younger brothers. I raised my hand to summon an army of undead warriors. A few skeletons crawled out of the ground, but not nearly as much as would normally crawl out. I realized why, in this form we had the same amount of strength as our demigod kids. Time for plan B, Shadow travel. I grabbed Poseidon and Zeus and concentrated, finding it harder to shadow travel now that my powers were limited.

A/N: I am so sorry about the long wait! School's been busy and my aunt is visiting this week. Plus I've had writer's block and couldn't decide how to write this. Bad muses! *glares at Koli and Kali* Anyways, thanks again to LouisZaynNiallHarryLiam for the review and idea.
