A/N: The names Zeus comes up with are Greek names. It was easy to figure out what Poseidon and Hades should be called, H and P names were easy to find. A good Greek name beginning with Z that wasn't Zeus was harder. This chapter might have a bit of Chiron's POV.
By the way, the Big Three's ages, since I haven't had a chance to reveal them, are:
Hades/Hector: 16
Poseidon/Paris: 15
Zeus/Zarek: 14

Chapter 3: Chased
Zeus's POV
I watched the woods surrounding us nervously. Glancing at my brothers, I stepped closer to them, feeling safer the closer I was to Hades and Poseidon.
"We need to come up with different names for ourselves." Poseidon said. I thought for a moment and quickly came up with three names.
"I know." I pointed at Hades, "You will be Hector, you" I looked at Poseidon, "Will be Paris. And I will be Zarek."
"Hector?" Hades asked incredulously. "Is that the best you could come up with?"
"Shh!" Poseidon, or Paris, hissed at us.
I looked over to see what he was looking at. A large beast emerged from the bushes, with the heads of a lion and a goat as well as a serpent tail.
"Run!" Hades, or Hector, yelled. We'd never be able to defeat the chimera, not without weapons, so, we followed his advice and ran towards the pine tree that had once contained my daughter. The chimera chased us, apparently not eager to let its prey escape.
Half-blood Hill loomed just ahead. We were nearly there, once within the camp's borders we'd be safe. The chimera couldn't follow us there. But I stumbled over a tree root, finding myself sprawled on the ground with the monster gaining on me. Trying to stand, I cried out as pain shut through my leg.
Up ahead, I saw Hades and Poseidon stop and turn, looks of…was that fear? Since when had my brothers shown any fear?
A shadow fell over me and I looked up to see the chimera looming overhead, its lion's mouth dripping disgusting saliva. It raised one paw, the claws gleaming cruelly in the sun, and brought it down towards me. A stone suddenly hit the monster's shoulder, throwing it off so that, instead of its claws raking open my chest, it caught my own shoulder. A cry was ripped from my throat as flames seemed to leap through me from my now heavily bleeding shoulder. But before the chimera could recover itself and attack me again, several skeletal warriors erupted from the ground, dressed torn uniforms that were either grey or blue. The undead warriors attacked the chimera, re-knitting themselves back together whenever the beast managed to slash at one with its claws.
Poseidon grabbed my uninjured arm and dragged me away from the chimera and towards the pine tree. Just as a half-horse, half-man came trotting up followed by a good sized group of campers dressed in an odd mixture of armor and normal clothes

A/N: There! I managed to update this story sooner than usual just as I promised.
Koli: You told them the Big Three would be in Camp Half-blood in this chapter.
Hey, they got to Camp Half-blood, didn't they? And don't complain, I let you write that chimera scene!
