Thanks for all the love and sorry for the late update. I know it's short, but it's just a filler. Here's the next chapter.

Aria

Spring was in full bloom, and the end of senior was coming. This was the time of year that most seniors looked forward to, with prom and graduation fast approaching. However that was not the case for Aria Montgomery. Sure she was looking forward to the end of her high school career, however prom was the last thing on her mind. All of her friends, especially Hanna, had been gushing about their potential dresses. Aria on the other hand was planning on skipping the annual dance. Sure she wanted to go, but not without the love of her life. Even though Ezra and her friends all tried to convince her that she would regret missing her last high school dance, she was adamant about her decision. Aria's thoughts were broken as the bell rang, ending her time in English class. As she was collecting her things, she heard her mother ask her to stay behind. As the last students exited the class room, Aria made her way up to her mother's desk.

"Is everything alright?" Ella asked.

"Yeah, what do you mean?"

"I mean you just didn't seem to be paying much attention today."

"Yeah, I have a lot on my mind. Trying to decide where I want to go for school next year."

"Is that all?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Well, Ezra may have mentioned that you were thinking of skipping the prom, and with everyone else talking about it so much, maybe you feel left out."

"Mom, it's not that big of a deal."

"Aria, do you want to go?"

"Of course I want to, but not without Ezra."

"Maybe I could talk to Vice Principle Hackett, and see if maybe you could bring him."

"Why would he agree to that? He already knows I lied more than once about our relationship."

"Your father and I will figure something out. I won't let him or anyone else deny you such a rite of passage."

Aria wasn't holding her breath. She didn't think that anyone would convince Hackett to let a former teacher escort a student to prom. No matter how much she wanted to go, she had accepted the fact that it wouldn't happen.

Ezra

Ezra had just entered his apartment, glad that the work day had finally come to an end. While he was changing into more casual clothes, he heard someone enter his apartment. He looked up, and saw Aria walking through the door.

"Hey, babe," Ezra said, happy to see his girlfriend for the first time today.

"Hey. So, I heard you had a conversation with my mother about prom."

"I'm sorry, I just don't want to hold you back. If you want to go, I want that for you. Just because I can't go with you doesn't mean that you have to miss out on something that most students look forward to ever since freshman year."

Aria could understand where Ezra was coming from. She was one of those girls who dreamed of her senior prom ever since the first day of her freshman year. Wearing a beautiful dress, being escorted by a gorgeous guy and partying with her friends for the last time before the all went their separate ways for college. She had the gorgeous guy, but there was no way he would be permitted to go, so she wouldn't either.

"Ezra, I've already told you I don't have to go."

"Aria,"

"Ezra, just drop it! Please?"

"No, Aria. I want you to enjoy all the senior activities, including prom, even if I can't escort you. It's one dance, one last hurrah with the girls. It's just a few hours of your life, and before you know it you'll be back in my arms."

Aria knew he was right. After graduation, things between her and the girls would be different. Yeah, they would always be the best of friends, but this summer was going to be spent mostly with her family and Ezra, and in the blink of an eye, they would be headed off to college.

"Okay, I'll go."

"Thanks, now come here."

Aria made her way over to where Ezra was standing with open arms, before crashing her lips to his. Their kiss became very heated, before they made their way over to the bed, forgetting about everything else except each other.

Aria

After her activities the with Ezra, Aria decided to tell her friends of her intentions to attend prom, which caused the girls to insist they all go shopping the next day for their dresses, since the dance was the following weekend. The following afternoon, she and her friends made their way to a boutique in Philadelphia which was a popular place to find formal dresses for all occasions, from school dances to wedding parties . They had been there for nearly an hour and a half, and while her friends had all found their dream dresses, Aria was still having a hard time deciding. Just when she was about to give up on finding anything she liked in the shop, a certain dress caught her eye. It was strap-less, covered in swirling red and black sequins, had a strap-less sweetheart bodice with a black sash at the waist, a short pencil skirt and a sheer chiffon asymmetrical overlay that was open in the front and floor-length in the back. Aria fell in love with it immediately, so she asked the sales associate if they had it in her size. The woman, who seemed to be in her mid twenties, made her way to the back to check. About five minutes later, the associate returned with the dress in hand, leading Aria over to the fitting room. Aria was beyond pleased that the dress was a perfect fit. She exited the room so her friends could see how it looked.

"Oh my God, Aria!" Hanna said after seeing her friend in the dress.

"It's perfect." Spencer added.

"You look so beautiful." Emily responded.

"Thanks you guys, I love it so much."

Spencer then took Aria's phone, and took a picture, before texting it to Ezra. Moments later, her phone beeped with a response from Ezra.

Damn babe, you look gorgeous. xo.

"Well, it looks like Ezra has also given it his stamp of approval." Spencer said with a smirk after reading the text.

Aria blushed at Spencer's comment, before returning to the fitting room to change back into her clothes. After changing, Aria and her friends all made their way to pay for their dresses, before making their way out of the boutique, and heading back to Rosewood, excited for the dance that was soon coming up.
