Walking into his class' homeroom Makoto's face instantly turned red as he saw Haru waiting by his desk. He continued to sit down as if he wasn't there. He proceeded to get his lunch out of his bag and eat it even with Haru in the way. He had managed to avoid him all morning, why did he bother now? He thought it was forgotten about.

"Don't ignore me. We both know why I'm here." Haru said sternly as he stayed leaning against Makoto's desk facing away from him, waiting for him to respond. "If you're not going to talk at least listen to what I have to say." He spoke, turning to face the older boy. When Makoto lifted his head to listen, a tiny smirk tugged on the corners of Haru's mouth. "About yesterday-" The head of the boy in front of him shot back down in embarrassment. "Makoto!" He slammed his hands on the desk in front of him. When he didn't get a response from the boy sitting in front of him he sighed and gave up. "Fine. I won't explain. To be honest, I couldn't care less anymore."

As the shorter boy went to walk off, Makoto shot up out of his seat and grabbed onto Haru's arm, pulling him close again. He couldn't care less that the whole class was staring, he needed to stop Haru leaving his life again. "Please don't go." He said with tears in his eyes.

"Why are you crying?" Haru pulled his arm out of the other boy's grasp. "Idiot." He murmured looking away, slightly blushing. He still cared alot about Makoto but he felt as if he couldn't let Rin know.

"I'm not the idiot, you are." Makoto childishly argued back. Pouting as he looked to the floor. Silence fell between the two for a moment before a quiet murmur came from the older boy's mouth. "Is it true?"

"Is what true?"

"Do you really love Rin?" Makoto asked quietly as he kept his eyes locked on the floor.

Haru froze for a moment, unable to let his answer be heard. "So it was you." He said before walking away and out of the classroom. Why couldn't he answer? It's not like it wasn't true and Haru was playing with Rin's feelings, he truly did love him but... It just felt wrong to admit that in front of Makoto.

Makoto lay on his bed, thinking about the other day. "Why did he avoid the question?" He mumbled to himself sitting up. He was about to roll over and go to sleep when he heard his phone buzz on the bedside table. Looking at the phone he was surprised to see who it was texting him.

[Rin 17:29]

Yo, come meet me at the park. I need to talk to you.

Makoto stared at the screen of his phone, how was he supposed to reply to this? He was just about to respond when he got another text.

[Rin 17:30]

I'll be here until 8pm. Don't make me wait long, Tachibana.

The tall brunette sighed and stood up, got himself ready to leave the house and told his parents he was going to be out the house for a while. As he started walking down the road he text Rin back.

[Makoto 17:36]

I'm on my way.

Rin smirked at his phone screen as he read the text he has just received. Sitting on a bench in the park he had nothing else to do but wait for the older boy to arrive. Being as impatient as usual, he glanced at his phone again. Twenty to. He started tapping his foot on the gravel beneath him, making a beat that went well with the song he had stuck in his head.

"Rin?" A familiar voice came from the right of him.

Standing up and turning around, there was Haru. "What are you doing here?" Rin asked nervously.

"I could ask the same to you, I thought you were going to stay in the dorms at Samezuka from now on.." Since the park was quite local to Iwatobi and not Samezuka, Haru's confusion was clear and understandable.

"I am, I just remembered how we always used to play here when we were younger and-"

"Haru?" Another familiar voice interrupted Rin.

"Makoto?" Haru turned to face the taller boy standing at the gates of the park. "What's going on here?" He turned back to Rin. "You were waiting for him to show up, weren't you?"

"I just wanted to ask him about why he was sneaking around your house on Monday." Rin confessed.

"He asked me to come here to talk, so I did." Makoto agreed with Rin. "It's nothing more than that."

Haru looked at the two cautiously. "Hmm. I'll believe you both for now, but something seems off to me."

Rin chuckled. "Don't be so silly." He said jokingly, pulling Haru close to him and kissing his cheek, trying his best to make Makoto jealous. "Hey, since we're all here, why don't we go out for a few drinks?" He suggested to the two boys.

"I don't see why not." Haru and Makoto said in sync with each-other.
