Disclaimer: I don't own Fraiser

It was 10 days before Fraiser's birthday. Niles, Martin and Dahpne had a bet going. They were betting on who would be able to give Frasier the best birthday gift.

"Let's make it interesting," Martin said, "Winner gets to chose where the family goes to dinner on Crane night."

"Hey what about me," Dahpne said, "What if I win? I mean I'm not a Crane"

"Would you like to be," Niles asked.

"NILES!," Martin scolded lightly

"Well o's to say you won't be taking my name," Dahpne retorted.

"Niles Moon," Niles thought, "Well it has a nice ring to it"

"Well let's add to it a bit more," Dahpne suggested, "ow about the winner gets to chose the activity as well. I got a yen for the trampoline meself."

"I haven't been trampolining in years," Niles said, "Why don't we go whether you win or not."

"Next Saturday?"

"It's a date," Niles said.

"Great," Dahpne replied, "But my gift to Frasier is going to be the best."

"Of course it is," Niles said, "You're brilliant. Your gift will not compare to either of ours. What are you going to get him.

"Something he's wanted for some time now," Dahpne said, "But it will make you all happy too."

"How thoughtful," Niles gushed.

"Well if you'll excuse me I have to be... anywhere but here," Martin said hobbling out on his cane.

Niles took the chance to kiss Dahpne. His dad always made a comment whenever he would kiss Dahpne. He meant well but he could be rather obnoxious. Of course he probably had the same opinion about Niles and Fraiser. Martin probably wanted his sons to be like him.

((Ten days later))

"Frasier," Martin said, "Open my gift first."

"Okay dad," Frasier said.

Frasier opened his gift from his father. It was a record of the music man.

"It's the original," Martin said, "Niles and I went half and half on it."

"Dad that's extraordinary," Fraiser said.

"Well I have a gift for you meself," Dahpne said.

She went to the door and opened the door.

"Alright you can come in now," Dahpne said.

Freddie walked in.

"Dahpne! Are you... this is the best gift I could have possibly gotten!"

Fraiser had tears in his eyes. Niles had tears in his eyes too. So did Martin.

"I had a physic vision that he survived so I called me friend Troy who specializes in reuniting people."

"Dahpne," Frasier said, "I love you."

"I love you too Dr. Crane," Dahpne said, "You're my brother and better"
