Chapter 5

So it begins

Aisha had been starring at the computer screen for what seemed like forever, she was almost finished with the program but she needed the finger prints to make the final touches. She let out a frustrated groan and leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. Frustration was evident across her face and she let out a small growl towards the computer, she had enough. Aisha got up from the computers and slid a coat over her shoulders and started to walk out of the tunnels.

"You can't be wandering" a voice said as Aisha stopped and saw a man she did not recognized.

"I think you will come to find out I can do as I please" Aisha replied and stared at the man and crossed her arms "I would not deem it wise to irritated me"

"Doesn't matter we can't have you wandering off" he said again and Aisha's face turned into a frown "We are under the impression that you are not allowed to leave this area"

"What is your name" Aisha said

"My what?" he said confused.

"Are you so stupid you do not have a name" Aisha replied as she took a step towards the man "apparently you were hired for muscles and not brains"

"Bitch" the man said and punched Aisha across the face so her face turned violently to the left. "You don't have a right to talk to me that way, I could kill you"

Aisha left her head starring left as she felt something trickling down her nose. She raised her hand to her nose and felt blood coming out and dripping down to her mouth where she felt a split lip and soreness started to seep into her jaw.

"Yea that is just a taste of what you will get if you talk to me that way again" the man said as Aisha heard footsteps just as she spit out some blood that pooled her in her mouth.

"Your bleeding" a new voice said as Aisha turned and immediately recognized him, as Bane's right hand man. Basard turned to the man who hit Aisha.

"Basard?" Aisha said as she put her hand over her nose to stop the bleeding "What a pleasant surprise"

"He hit you" Basard said as he saw blood seeping through Aisha's fingers as she tried to control her bloody nose.

"All I was doing was going for a walk and he said I couldn't go. So I asked for him name he forgot and I said he got hired for muscles and not brains" Aisha said as she took a cloth that Basard handed to her.

"He will pay" Basard said "Bane allows you to do as you will. He will deal with it"

Just at that moment Bane made his entrance and the guy who hit Aisha suddenly grew pale.

"Who has harmed you" Bane said as he stared at Aisha and saw her face bloodied as well as her hands.

"Him" Basard said as he pointed to the guy and Bane turned to the man.

"Chose your words carefully, and then I will kill you" Bane said as he stepped towards the man.

"I didn't know" he begged.

"There is no tolerance for the unlearned" Bane said and then snapped his neck and then looked at Aisha "I will send someone to take care of that"

"Don't bother" Aisha said as she took the cloth away and headed towards the bathroom and heard footsteps behind her as she opened the medicine cabinet and closed it and looked in the mirror and saw Bane standing behind her "Something I can help you with" she turned to face him as she took the cloth from her face.

Blood had covered most of her face, from her nose to down her neck. Bane had evaluated Aisha before he reached forward and stroked her cheek and blood started to cover his hand.

"Red is certainly your color" Bane said

"At least someone likes the color" Aisha said then stared into Bane's eyes "Why did you kill him"

"He damaged what belongs to me" Bane simply replied "He was not given permission to touch"

"Belongs to you" Aisha replied "What makes you think that I belong to you"

"It's quite simple" Bane replied and Aisha starred at him not in the mood for arguing as she turned back to the mirror and began to wipe some more blood off.

It had been a few months total that she knew Bane was in the city and a few less since she had started to work with him, lending him her men. Aisha ignored the image of Bane behind her as she looked at herself in the mirror, bloody and bruised. It was a sight that she had grown accustomed to, in her years of life spent in Gotham. Aisha dropped the cloth and raised her hands to her bloodied face and gently ran her fingers over her split lip and nose and she let out a sigh before turning the water on and using it to remove the rest of the blood from her face.

Bane stood behind her the whole time watching her, as she touched her face and then rinsed the rest of the blood off. He did not know the strange stirring he had since he had met Aisha those nights long ago. He watched her and when she lifted her head again Bane placed a hand on the back of her neck as he stood behind her facing the mirror and sink. He felt her tense at his touch and even though her body relaxed eventually it was still tense and on alert. Bane then moved his hand towards her shoulder and Aisha looked at him in the mirror and followed his hand movement carefully. Bane ran his hand over her and then started to run it down her arm and down to her side. Aisha's eye never stopped following Bane's in the mirror.

"You are mine and no one touches what is mine but me" Bane said as he removed his hand from Aisha and then he left the bathroom leaving Aisha alone.

She was unsure of how she felt about the whole situation, but it could always be worse and for the moment Aisha had no reason to argue. With Bane she was safe and that was something that she hadn't felt in a while. She finished wiping up the blood and looked at the split lips she had, she gently touched it and walked out of the bathroom and vanished from the compound.

Aisha was soon walking on the streets of Gotham, alone. She wasn't sure why she exactly decided to walk in the streets late at night but she knew she needed time to think. Aisha went and sat on a bench in the park. She sat for some time before she headed back and found the fingerprints she wanted were waiting for her and now she could get started.

The next morning Aisha felt a hand on her body and she opened her eyes to see her laying in Bane's bed and his hand on her waist and her body out of instinct tensed. Aisha stared directly into the eyes of the beast that was in front of her.

"I will teach you to not fear my touch" Bane said.

"I doubt that" Aisha said again as her muscles tensed out of reflex as she let Bane run his hand over her body, she couldn't explain why she let him. "The body remembers what the mind choses to forgets" Bane continued to move his hands over Aisha's body "You're still touching me"

Bane said nothing as he then moved his hand towards Aisha's face. Her lip was still swollen and the side of her left jaw had started to turn black and blue. When Bane touched her jaw Aisha winched in pain but made no sound and soon she could no longer feel Bane's touch on her skin.

"Get ready" Bane said and then got off the bed so Aisha could get dressed but he didn't leave the area.

Aisha looked at Bane standing there and she just got up from the bed and went to her bag of clothes and pulled out a shirt with some jeans and she turned her back to Bane as she lifted her nightshirt over her head leaving her bare back exposed to Bane while she stood in her underwear. Once she heard footsteps she knew Bane had seen the roadmap of scars running over her back. She felt a hand trace a few scars as she went to put a bra on and still felt the hand running over them after she put the bra on.

"It was never my face" Aisha said as she bent down and started to pull on some jeans and went to put on her shirt and felt Bane's hands leave her body once more. She finished pulling down her shirt as she turned and saw Bane starring at her "I'm ready"

Bane nodded and soon they were off in the tunnels. Soon they arrived next to some motorcycles and a few guys had bags and Aisha saw one put the program she had been working on in her bag. She had placed it on a mini laptop the night before so it was easy access when they would need it. Bane handed her a helmet as he got on the bike and put his on. Aisha got on behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist and her legs were snug against his hips as he started the bike.

"Today everything changes" Aisha said as Bane turned his head sideways and placed a hand on Aisha's leg and stroked it for a moment before opening his visor and looking at Aisha and then putting it down and started to head out of the tunnel towards the stock exchange. Aisha kept her hands tightly against Bane as her body fitted perfectly against his. "Let it begin"
