AN: Finally updated! Note/Warning to readers this is a Jaime/Arya pairing which is maybe the biggest crack pairing in Game of Thrones fan fiction. But hey, maybe GRRM will shock everybody and ship Arya with Jaime. #NeverLoseHope

Italics are flashback or Arya thoughts.

Disclaimer: I do not own Game of Thrones.

'Arya.'

"Do you think Joffrey will like it?" Sansa asked referring to her dress as she studied her appearance in the mirror.

Arya who was sitting on Sansa's bed had to stop herself from gagging at her sister for the umpteenth time today.

"How am I supposed to know what the Prince likes and doesn't like?" The smaller girl responded distastefully to her older sister. She had really no idea what Sansa saw in the Prince. The older girl had been talking about him non-stop since he arrived to Winterfell.

"And I don't want to talk about stupid dresses." Or stupid Prince's for that matter.

Sansa final turned away from the mirror facing her sister. "I thought that you would since you decided to dress up yourself for tonight."

This was true, Arya was wearing one of her better dresses. A white one with a dark collar and frills on the shoulders.

"It's not like I had a choice, Septa Mordane forced me to wear this dress!" Arya hoped that Sansa couldn't see the blush that began to creep up on her face.

Sansa did not look convinced. "Hmm, I thought you might have been dressing up for someone. A certain member of the Kingsguard, perhaps?"

"Ha-ha-ha." Arya laughed nervously as her face grew redder. "You mean Jaime Lannister? W-why would I ever dress up for him?"

Sansa probably didn't believe a word Arya just said but kept quiet letting the subject drop. Arya tried to control her blush thankful that the room was now silent. The younger girl was definitely caught surprised that her elder sister was able to read her so easily.

When Arya woke up this morning she knew that the day would be hectic with the King's arrival and all. The day's past events still fresh on her mind.

Arya held her excitement inside her; she was able to sneak a peek of the King's men earlier when they arrived at the gates. Now she was going to get a better look of the visitors, with her family this time. She did not like the idea of having to stand and wait and would rather approach the visitors to talk with them.

It wasn't a long wait for the King himself to arrive riding on his horse, a large carriage behind him and Prince Joffrey riding on a horse too.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw her Sister staring at the Prince with a stupid grin on her face. That was the first time she wanted to gag at her sister but restrained herself. She heard from Robb and Jon that rumor has it that Joffrey is cocky, rude and spoiled. Looking at Sansa it was clear that she did not hear the same rumors.

Arya rolled her eyes at her sister. 'Blondes are overrated anyways.'

After her father left with King Robert to visit the Crypts beneath Winterfell everybody else was expected to keep still outside until they came back.

She found it an appropriate time to look around for the 'Imp'. She expected him to come out of the carriage with the Queen and her two younger children but there was no sign of Tyrion Lannister anywhere.

Still searching for him her eye caught one of the white cloaks of the Kingsguard removing his helm. Once seeing his face and the golden hair on his head she instantly recognized him as Jaime Lannister.

Staring at the Knight made her heartbeat quicken and face warm up. The Knight was undeniably handsome like the ones in the songs Sansa likes. She did not know how long she was staring at him but Jaime turned his head towards her direction and his green eyes caught her grey ones for a second. Arya immediately turned her head away embarrassed to be caught staring.

She could still feel his eyes on her which made her face down to her neck feel hot. But she dare not to check if he was still actually staring at her.

When her Father came back with the King everyone was finally able to leave. She was disappointed that the 'Imp' wasn't going to make an appearance but now a different Lannister began to fill her thoughts.

In just a few hours they would all be going to the Great Hall to feast with their guests. Arya was slightly nervous with the thought of seeing Jaime in her mind. Just looking at him made here feel well… weird. She didn't understand why her heartbeat would quicken or why her body would feel warmer when she looked at him. She was beyond confused and didn't know how to handle it!

She looked to her Sister who was again focusing on her reflection in the mirror, brushing her own her not trusting a handmaiden to do a good enough job. Maybe Sansa can help me.

No, no, no way! This was Sansa she's talking about who would tease her endlessly if she admitted that she had a crush on Jaime Lannister.

A crush? Ok, maybe just maybe she did have the tiniest littlest crush on Jaime Lannister. No that can't be! Arya knows in her heart that she isn't a stupid blushing maiden waiting for her fair knight to come and take her hand. That's just not her.

And yet. She did feel something for Jaime even if she didn't fully understand what those feelings were yet.

"Sansa." Arya called for her Sister's attention.

"Hmm?" The older girl hummed not turning her attention away from the mirror.

"Do you think Jaime will like it?" Arya asked referring to her dress.

AN: Yeah, not much dialogue. Would love to hear some feedback!
