Killian found himself smiling as he saw Emma walking away; he could not stop himself from staring at her leaving quickly. Besides she was quite…fit. He thought as he let out a laugh.
After Emma disappeared into the deeper woods, Killian quickly turned around with a certain hurry. After all he had quite a lot of work to do. It was going to be a long night.
Some rather be in the city, or in a quiet place in the woods, even to conquer the skies, but other wish to discover the wild seas. Captain Killian Jones was a man of the sea, but not because of its peace and beauty. He saw the sea as a way to reach out to new worlds and people. He enjoyed the challenge of a storm and the stilly journeys. Once in need to meditate he'd just look at the sea and think of the wonders he could find through it.
Still, Killian wasn't a man of dreams. He liked to think of himself as man of conquer, he wouldn't just dream, he went after he wanted. After all there's no magic in this world and everything has a price. You need to fight for you want in other to truly deserve it.
Obviously any man who doesn't just dream is a realistic one. Killian knew that the only ones who conquered the world, were the ones who knew who to navigate better. But most importantly navigate we all need a boat. He's was the Jolly Roger, but the boat to success is power with the help blow of a wind that we call money.
So that's why Killian liked to deal behind the eyes of the law, where all the best opportunities a real money lie. The sea and boats have been in he's life since he can remember and his passion lead him here, Storybrooke harbor.
The Storybrooke Harbor is a very beautiful place near to the center of the city, but it's not ideal for late night business. That is why Killian and his man preferred to work in the old and "abandoned" harbor, hidden by the woods. There isn't much of it left, besides the small beach. But they manage to work successfully and without alerting anyone. Unfortunately this night someone else also thought of visiting the remote and peaceful place.
After bringing the boat from its hiding place a loud scream was heard by the crew. Everyone petrified in fear, Mr Smee was white as a sheet. But the Captain wasn't a man to be scared easily, "Everyone stay silent and hide anything that might be alarming, I'll go verify what happened." Captain Killian ordered
"Sir, sir! Who was that in the forest after all? Is there any problem?" A man in a red hood asked Captain Jones as he went Killian's direction. Killian kept walking followed by the man.
"No Smee, nothing to worry about. It was quite an interesting…conversation." He answered Mr. Smee, slightly laughing at his fresh memories.
"So who was the lass, ham Sir?" Smee let out a strong and amused laugh as he inquired his boss.
"Yes, Smee, she was quite attractive." Killian answered smiling and seeing right through the question's real intention. "But let's get back to work! We have an important cargo to get today. Hurry up men!" He said clapping in hurry, trying to shake Emma away from his mind.
Everyone else hurried into their work as they heard the Captain's order. Killian was both concerned and excited for tonight. A big shipping was coming from Canada and with luckily after tonight things would get more intense. So he joined his man in this long night.
After a long while a man warned his captain that everything was ready to go. As he heard those words Killian went into a small ship to verify all the finishing details. And so as everything seemed to be ready Killian and his man sailed into the deep dark ocean.
It was just the begging of a whole lot more. And hopefully none would get in their way, Killian's way.
If you wake at midnight, and hear a horse's feet,
Don't go drawing back the blind, or looking in the street,
Them that ask no questions isn't told a lie.
Watch the wall my darling while the Gentlemen go by.
'If You do as you've been told, 'likely there's a chance,
You'll be give a dainty doll, all the way from France,
With a cap of Valenciennes, and a velvet hood -
A present from the Gentlemen, along 'o being good !
Five and twenty ponies,
Trotting through the dark -
Brandy for the Parson, 'Baccy for the Clerk.
Them that asks no questions isn't told a lie -
Watch the wall my darling while the Gentlemen go by !
