Tsuna watched anxiously, screaming occasionally as he was the one who felt the pain. He felt when his hand was pierced and screamed out to his other part.

"Tsunayoshi! Stop it, my body might break if you keep doing what you're doing!" Tsuna had screamed.

Tsunayoshi stopped and Tsuna felt himself regaining control but it was gone a second later as Tsunayoshi bit back harshly, "No, he needs to be taught a lesson and only I can teach it to him."

"It's Byakuran! What can you really do with him? My father's coming and let him take care of it!" Tsuna screeched in frustration. His other half wasn't listening and he needed to do something before Tsunayoshi decided to tear his body apart to accomplish it.

"Yes, and Giotto will do nothing, as usual." Tsunayoshi snapped back.

Tsuna sighed as he backed off. There was nothing he could do now. His consciousness was ebbing away by now. He guessed it was because Tsunayoshi was angry. But something warm touched his shoulder, surprising him as he thought it was only him.

"I think it'd be better if I took over." Somebody muttered.

It was a warm voice that seemed to accept Tsuna and make Tsuna want to cry. He nodded and felt a reassuring squeeze on his shoulder. The warmth made Tsuna smile as it reminded him of his dad.

"Who are you?" Tsuna asked in a mystified voice.

"I'm the other you. There are three sides to your personality. One bad side that was brought out by the Estrangeo, you call him Tsunayoshi. You, Tsuna, are the main personality. And you can call me Tsu-kun, like how your mother used to. I'm the good side to the Hyper-Dying Will Mode that the Estrangeo didn't predict to happen. I can easily merge with you as your fighting prowess." The voice answered him.

Tsuna nodded as it all made sense, he often felt that there was more than one personality inside of him but he never thought anything of it. When he would start to get that feeling was when he would get the headaches and he would be taken to Italy.

The warmth moved away from him and seemed to charge at Tsunayoshi. Tsuna fell to his knees, clutching his head, as they collided. An ear-splitting screech tore out of him before he felt himself regain control again.

Blinking, Tsuna felt calm as he saw Byakuran's shocked and amused face staring back at him. He blinked again, than registered the pain in his hand.

Tsuna slowly reached towards the knife inside of his hand and wrenched it out. He ground out a moan of pain before he threw the knife to the side and away from the two. Byakuran just smiled down as his interest spiked in the young teenager.

"Well, would you look at this. I never thought that you would be able to accomplish Hyper-Dying Will Mode without the bullet or pills." Byakuran whistled as he rolled away from Tsuna.

Tsuna had struck out while Byakuran was talking and now he was free to move. He sat up, gingerly poking his hand, and glared at Byakuran. "What are you talking about? I'm not in Hyper-Dying Will Mode."

"Yes, you are. Your flame is coming to the surface." Byakuran said with a wicked smile on his face.

And just like Byakuran said, Tsuna's Sky flames stated spluttering to life on his forehead. He blinked and his eyes turned back to the orange a little darker than his father's. Tsuna screeched in surprise as he felt the heat on his forehead. It didn't burn, it was a warm feeling.

Tsuna trusted the flame and blinked again to clear his vision. He stood up, wobbling a little, before he blocked the punch Byakuran threw at him. He blocked another punch from Byakuran, sealing his movements. Byakuran surged forward and head butted Tsuna.

Tsuna reeled back but Byakuran kept a firm grip on Tsuna's wrists while he kneed Tsuna hard in the side. Tsuna coughed and tried to struggle out of the grip. It was futile though as the grip tightened and he was kicked in the side again.

Hanging limply from Byakuran's hands, Tsuna jutted a leg upwards. He knocked Byakuran back and Byakuran was forced to let go as he didn't want to lose his head. Tsuna hopped back and collapsed to his knees while Byakuran poked at his jaw.

"What a surprise. The little one can fight." Byakuran commented.

Tsuna made an annoyed face at him before he wobbled upright again. He finally was able to glance at the door and his eyes widened as he saw three familiar faces. His father had a small smirk on his face, Asari and G looking at him in surprise behind his father.

"Oh. Not good." Tsuna muttered.

Byakuran just hummed in thought. "This could turn interesting."

Byakuran launched himself back at Tsuna, holding his hand out so he could catch Tsuna around throat. Tsuna turned so Byakuran sailed past him, but Tsuna caught Byakuran's wrist and pulled him back before he got too far. Tsuna bent his knee so Byakuran would land into that instead of crashing into him.

Tsuna jumped back as Byakuran coughed and rubbed his stomach. The two faced each other for a moment before Tsuna felt something was wrong. Byakuran was smiling too wide and was too relaxed.

"You know, I feel like a beating is the best way to discipline. But I think this will be adequate." Byakuran levelled a gun to Tsuna's forehead as he spoke.

Tsuna's eyes widened as he realized what was going to happen. He tried to move but found that his vision went fuzzy and his limbs felt like lead. His ears started ringing and he barely registered that he was shot before he fell.

Tsuna blinked awake, the bleariness and lights hurting his eyes as he became more conscious. He was in a bed that felt like a hospital bed, a heart monitor was beside him and he heard it beeping along with his heartbeat.

He let his head fall to the side and saw that Hibari was sleeping on the edge of the bed. Tsuna confused as he barely knew Hibari. They were acquaintances with the occasional beating because he was late but nothing more than that.

Tsuna shifted into a more comfortable position and felt himself sink into the mattress. He pulled the blankets a little and curled up underneath them on his side. He was still confused as to why he was here, he was sure that he was shot. Why didn't he hurt anywhere though?

He moved again and felt a stab of pain run through his chest and down his spine. When Tsuna lifted up his shirt to see how bad it was, there was gauze wrapping around his chest. The thick of it being condensed to his right side.

"Good to know you're awake." A voice to his right said.

Hibari was sitting up, running a hand through his hair to flatten it, and his eyes pierced into Tsuna's. Tsuna fidgeted nervously and looked away as he got uncomfortable.

"Where am I?" Tsuna asked.

Hibari rolled his eyes, but it wasn't annoyed and more like fond. Tsuna found himself fighting a blush and he buried his head even further under the covers to hide.

"You're in the Japanese base. You built it here so you weren't as far away from home as you usually are in Italy." Hibari answered, sounding bored.

"B-But I was just at Kokuyo land. Why am I here? And where is here even?!"

"Tsunayoshi, you've been asleep for two days now. When I found you, you were bleeding out. I was able to get you back and into surgery before you bled out but you've been asleep the entire time."

Tsuna looked desperately at Hibari as he tried to piece together what happened before he was shot. He remembered fighting Byakuran, Tsunayoshi and Tsu-kun were fighting with each other so he wasn't able to think straight when they clashed.

Then he remembered that Byakuran was too laid back while he was fighting, like he was waiting for something. Tsuna narrowed his eyes as he thought but couldn't come up with anything that might explain his predicament.

"Hibari-san?" Tsuna asked in a hesitant voice. Hibari turned his wandering eyes back to Tsuna's face, indicating that he was listening. "What year am I in?"

"You're ten years in the future."

The barrier that separated Giotto from helping Tsuna vanished when Byakuran fired. Giotto already had his gloves on and was in Hyper-Dying Will Mode as he ran over to Byakuran.

"Why did you shoot him?" Giotto asked.

Byakuran's eyes showed amusement as he looked into Giotto's furious ones. "He's not dead. I made sure of it. He's just been sent to the future for a while."

"How long is a while?" Giotto spat out.

Byakuran just smiled, his smile widening as a hiss came from where Tsuna was lying. Asari and G had ran over to Tsuna to check him over, but had backed away as a lot of steam was coming off of Tsuna's body. G and Asari coughed and jogged over to where Giotto was, staring with narrowed eyes.

A series of coughs and a person batting the steam away met the eerie silence that fell over the four. Tsuna coughed again before he finally opened his eyes, tinted orange from Sky flames, and screeched as he realized who was staring at him.

"Oh. No no no no, not yet. It's another year." Tsuna started to mutter as he got up from the floor. He used the floor to help him stand up and winced when bent.

"Shit, Giotto." G muttered to his friend. "I never realized how a like you two were."

Tsuna had grown his hair so his bangs so it was level with his nose, the back just barely touching his shoulders. His suit was wrinkled like he had fallen asleep in it and he had bags under his eyes.

Tsuna lifted his eyes and met his fathers. "Dad, I think you know what you have to do when we leave here."

Giotto nodded as he did know. But they had to talk later as Byakuran was leering at Tsuna and it made Giotto uncomfortable.

"Byakuran." Tsuna called out. Byakuran turned to him, giving Tsuna his attention. "Try not to be an ass later on in life. Yuni's upset with what you did."

What Tsuna said seemed to snap the little self control Byakuran was showing as a scowl marred his face. "Don't talk about her like you know what she wants."

"Oh, but I do. You forgot how we used to be friends. You forget the Arcobaleno, Vongola, and Millefiore are connected because of the Trinisette, too." Tsuna taunted.

Byakuran was the first one to attack this time as he struck Tsuna's chest. He was hurt there and Tsuna tried to evade it as best he could. He was still hit, not as hard, and he coughed as he stumbled back.

"That's playing dirty, you know." Tsuna commented, catching Byakuran's wrist and driving his knee into Byakuran's cheek.

"You know how fun it is to play dirty though." Byakuran retorted, rubbing his jaw.

Tsuna rolled his eyes, jumping back into the fray and delivering punch after punch to Byakuran's body. The kicks and punches were fast and calculated, never a waste of energy. Byakuran barely defended but was still worst off, stumbling away with a broken rib and fractured wrist.

"Well, I guess you're having quite the time here." Byakuran said as he spat out blood, some landing on Tsuna's face. "I'm afraid I have to end our little charade. Wouldn't want you to keel over, would we?"

"No, we wouldn't. But I think you should worry about yourself since you lung is going to be punctured soon if you don't get medical attention."

Byakuran didn't answer as light blinded the others. When they were able to blink away the light and see again, Tsuna was collapsed on the floor and Byakuran was gone.

Tsuna's breathing was ragged and a small pool of blood collected underneath him as he laid there. Giotto bounded over and checked his pulse. It was faint and erratic.

"G, go tell Knuckles what happened. Asari, I'm going to need to move him with your help. He'll bleed out if we don't do anything.

I got this done. It's longer because I couldn't find a good place to end the chapter.

I am also wondering, if I were to put romance in here, what pairing would you like? I was batting around the idea to make a poll but there's so many pairings to choose from. So yeah, just tell me in a review or something, if you actually care, and I'll pick the most popular one, maybe. It might seem like 1827 right now but it's platonic until further notice.

I almost forgot, I changed Giotto to the first boss. It's easier that way and I was mildly confused as to how everything would play out since the ninth is like 70(?). Vongola is a mafia syndicate but it's like the vigilante justice from cannon. The only difference is that it's modern and Giotto made Vongola when he was 16. He's like late 30's, early 40 here.
