The man smirked as he dodged around somebody. He was currently making his way through the airport closest to Namimori to a car that was waiting for him. As he stated his name, he knew that G recognized him. "Reborn."
It took two days for Tsuna to come back from the past. When he did, he was met with Hibari beside him, leaning against the window on the right. He smirked when he saw that Tsuna was awake and back from the past.
"How was it?" Hibari asked, pushing off of the wall to walk towards the bed.
"Better than I thought. Byakuran hasn't been near my younger self very much yet. I hope that it'll stay like that until Daemon and Alaude come to Japan after Reborn. It's not as good because my younger self still has two personalities." Tsuna said, rubbing his face out of exhaustion.
Hibari nodded before walking to the door. "I'll go tell the baby that you're awake and back. He might want to meet you."
"You do know he's far from that, right?" Tsuna called after Hibari.
"It's not going to change anything."
Tsuna coughed, batting the smoke away with his hand. He had his eyes closed so none of the smoke would go into his eyes, he coughed on reflex, and it didn't exactly work at keeping the smoke at bay.
"I really don't want to do that again." Tsuna groaned under his breath.
He looked around and sighed in relief when he saw that he was in his old room again. Going to the future was the weirdest thing he had ever done, he wasn't sure if he wanted to do that again.
He looked around and sighed in relief when he saw that he was in his old room again. Going to the future was the weirdest thing he had ever done, he wasn't sure if he wanted to do that again.
He shifted a little, realizing that he didn't hurt anywhere like the day before. He was able to heave himself up, grunting with the effort, before swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. He pulled his legs free from the dull orange blanket, standing up when he was sure he wasn't going to fall down, and gathered his stuff to have a bath.
He finished after almost ten minutes of just sitting in the bath. He dried himself off, pulling on a sweater and pyjama pants. When he walked out of the bathroom, he was having a hard time deciding whether he should go downstairs and talk to his dad, or just fall back asleep in his room. Tsuna almost threw his hands in the air when he decided it would be better to go see his dad.
Going down the stairs carefully, so he doesn't trip, Tsuna walked to the kitchen where he knew his dad was. But he didn't expect to hear voices that wasn't his dad's in there as well. They were talking in what sounded like Italian, Tsuna soon realized that they were talking about him, and G., Knuckles, Aluade, and Asari were there talking to his dad.
They were talking in Italian, probably because they weren't around him and didn't want him to know what they were saying. But Tsuna actually knew Italian, he was a little miffed when he heard that he was thought as dangerous when he could barely walk straight half the time.
When he heard the chairs scraping against the floor, Tsuna managed to scramble back behind the corner so he wouldn't be seen before anybody reached the kitchen door. He made sure he didn't peak around the corner because Alaude was like a hawk when somebody was watching him.
Tsuna peeked around to see if everybody was gone and he had to stifle his screech of surprise.
Giotto had just kissed Alaude of all people. He wasn't upset or anything because his mom had been dead for almost a year, maybe two and Giotto needed to get back into the swing of things so he wasn't lonely. Tsuna was sure that his dad cried at night sometimes because of his mom's death.
Peeking around the corner again, he saw Giotto with his arms crossed, and staring directly where Tsuna was trying to hide. He had a small smile on his face, but still looked a little upset at Tsuna.
"Uh, hey dad", Tsuna said nervously, scratching his arm in nervousness when he saw the sharp look in his dad's eyes. "How long have you and Alaude-san…?"
Giotto sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I was going to tell you soon but it's been a little bit crazy this last week. It's been a few months. We're taking things slow because of your mother only dying about a year ago. But, it's been great."
Tsuna smiled happily. "Good, I was wondering when you were going to stop moping. As long as you're happy, then it's fine that you were trying to find the right time to tell me."
Stepping out from behind the wall, Tsuna walked forward, and turned into the kitchen because he was hungry. Giotto followed not long after, leaning against the counter by the stove, and watched Tsuna get stuff out to make a sandwich.
"What about school? You've missed about a week of it." Giotto suddenly asked, making Tsuna almost fall over because he forgot his dad was there.
"What's the date?" Tsuna asked as he picked up the butter knife he dropped.
"October 11th", Giotto answered after a few seconds of thought.
"I missed a day then. I had 5 days because of autumn break. Hibari-san won't come around until I've missed almost a month." Tsuna answered around the knife handle he had as he haphazardly placed everything onto the counter.
"Hibari? Oh no, he can't come near me for a while now." Giotto said, rubbing his eyes in frustration.
"Why, you didn't promise to fight him, did you?" Tsuna joked, slathering mayo onto his bread. When he didn't get an answer, he turned around to look imploringly at Giotto, he groaned loudly. "You did, didn't you?"
"Yeah, there was some sort of festival going on, and Knuckles and I were running through town because we had just gotten back into town. He stopped us because I wasn't helping. Since I was worried about you, I told him I would fight him but to let us leave so we could help you. He seemed interested in you when I said your name." Giotto explained, sighing heavily as he dragged his hands down his face, the skin following, and making Tsuna creeped out.
"You really don't know what you got yourself into, dad." Tsuna said, patting his father on the back as he passed. "Hibari-san won't give up until he's fought with 100%, he wins, and you're lying on the ground in a bloody pulp. It's not fun."
Giotto groaned again. "How would you know? I never taught you self-defence. That's later."
"Um, well when I'm late, Hibari-san likes to-uh, beat all the late people." Tsuna got progressively quieter as he talked, taking a bite of his sandwich to hide the last part. But Giotto still heard.
Giotto shoved off of the counter he was leaning on, walking quickly over to his son, and stopping Tsuna from leaving. "Tsunayoshi, that is incredibly dangerous. You know about Tsunayoshi so if we don't seal him soon, he'll come out, and start hurting everybody that he deems a threat."
Tsuna looked down as he nodded. "I know, but that's why I'm not going to be late anymore. I don't really feel like being Useless-Tsuna forever."
"Who calls you that?" Giotto demanded, not liking how Tsuna said it so casually.
"People", Tsuna shrugged in nonchalance as he shrugged his father's hand off of his shoulder. "It's no big deal, they're right since all I can really do is bring people down."
"No, you're more than that nickname. That nickname isn't even accurate because people see your mark and automatically assume that you're only as good as your book smarts. But they're wrong, and don't you dare forget that."
Tsuna gave a crooked smile, looking up with blazing orange eyes that made Giotto almost step back. "Yeah, you're probably right, dad."
Giotto smiled happily. "Good. Now, if you want to bring your grades up, I have a tutor that is willing to help you. Don't look at me like that, he's an old friend of mine so of course I'm going to tell him about you. He offered on his own."
Tsuna sighed, knowing that he should probably take the offer to get the tutor. "Yeah, call him, and tell him I want him to tutor me. It's better than having people laugh at me because I got a bad mark."
"Great, he's on his way to Japan as we speak. He'll be here tomorrow morning."
Reborn was not impressed with his new student. He had one other that was as bad as this one; that was not something he was committed to do again. But, apparently, Giotto wanted him to train his son to become the next boss of Vongola. How fun.
Currently, Tsuna was trying to make cookies in family studies*. They didn't look bad, they looked even better than descent. But what ruined them was when somebody reached over behind Tsuna when he had his back turned, trying to reach a cookie sheet conveniently on the top shelf, and dumped a tablespoon of salt into the mix.
The student was gone when Tsuna turned around, working in her station next to him as if nothing happened. Tsuna noticed, hurriedly trying to take all the salt out before it ruined the batch that he painstakingly tried to make. Reborn tutted disapprovingly, a true mafia boss wouldn't have let that happen since he would notice the person behind them.
Reborn jumped down from the low branch he was on, to the ground. He gave one last glance to Reborn, rolling his eyes when he saw that a student was turning Tsuna's oven up too much. Reborn didn't like the fact that almost everybody had it out for Tsuna in the school, from what he's seen.
Walking over to the corner of the school, he looked up to Hibari. He flicked his fedora up to get a better view, smirking at the, weak to him, glare directed at him. Hibari looked upset that he was on the campus.
"Children are not aloud on school grounds. The elementary school is another three blocks from here." Hibari said, crossing his arms, and his mouth twitching up. If Reborn was right, it sounded like he was being mocked.
"I don't go to school. I'm a hitman in the mafia." Reborn answered, almost robotically from how many times he's responded with this. He could pull it off because nobody believed him, he was just a toddler anyways.
Hibari glared, bringing out his tonfas, and standing in a defensive position. "You're an Arcobaleno, aren't you?"
Reborn's smirk deepened. "And you're Fon's nephew. I definitely see the resemblance between you two. But my name is Reborn, the Arcobaleno's Sun guardian." He dodged a tonfa easily, landing back into the branch he previously occupied. "There's no need to be like that. I'm only here to spy on my new student, Sawada Tsunayoshi."
Hibari stopped his slow advance at Tsuna's name. "Him again, huh? If you can get that Herbivore up to an Omnivore, I'll fight him."
"You do know what happens if you lose, right?"
Hibari nodded. "Yakuza isn't different in this aspect. Lose a brawl, you become the others servant. I'm fully prepared."
"Good, I'll have Dame-Tsuna ready to fight you in three months. Can you wait that long?"
"Yes, as long as you aren't pulling my leg."
Byakuran sighed heavily. Tsuna had gotten away once again because his underlings were too incompetent to chain him up to the wall. Why did he even have them again? Oh, right, because it was impossible for him to do that with Giotto protecting the brat.
Sighing again, Byakuran got up, and picked up the phone next to him. The click of it coming off of the hook seemed to echo around the dimly lit office.
Dialling a number he knew well, Byakuran waited for the click to know that he was talking to the person he needed to talk too. When he heard it, a wolfish grin spread across his face.
"I need you to keep tabs on Sawada Tsunayoshi…Yes, I need to know when his next opening is again…I know, and that's what makes it fun. The Arcobaleno is weak in one aspect though…No, I'm not going to tell you. You just have to wait…Yes, you can have a go at him when he's secured…He's my prey though so don't forget that…Alright, don't forget that you're working for me if you don't want to go back into Vindice. Yes, goodbye."
Byakuran hung up, crossing his arms as he walked away. He hummed a little to a tune that only he knew, looking like a twelve year old in love. Oh he was so excited when Tsuna was going to be in his grasps once again.
*Family Studies is what my school calls Home Economics. I'm not changing it though, so this is the only time I'm telling you.
Ha...Ha, yeah um it's been too long. How've you all been?
Yeah I know, I took too long to update. I was just stuck on what to do next! So, a lot of stuff in my writing has changed. I put a lot more detail, the chapters are going to be longer, and I'm using Microsoft Word so a lot of the mistakes I make here and there are either from me typing too fast or not there at all.
So yeah, you can still put your two cents in if you want a pairing so get the voting on. It's three votes for 1827. G27 is so not happening though, just...No, not happening.
