Deepest Desires…Chapter 7: Broken Mirrors…
The beach turned out not to be as bad as Wade thought it would be. Most of the locker room was there by the time Cody had driven them to their sandy location. All of the superstars were walking around topless…well, all but Wade and Sheamus – both of whom were sitting on the sand under a beach-brolly and the later was covered in thick, white sun block as he sat crossed legged glaring down at the water.
Cody had tried to get Wade to come with him and some of the others down to the sea but the Brit had denied and instead decided to stay with the lone ginger male as he watched from afar, in a so-not-weird-way, as Cody and Stardust wrestled each other into the cold water. Of course Wade's eyes weren't on anyone but Cody or at least that was until a coach full of divas pulled up.
He watched one by one as they moved from the coach, noticing the shy smirk grow on Sheamus' face as he shook his head- a slight frown knitted its way onto Wade's face as he saw Brandi step out in all her glory. Sheamus scoffed a little before turning his attention to the other girls as Brandi looked towards them, trotting off almost as soon as she saw Wade. Looking back towards the sea, Wade saw Cody watching Brandi as she moved away before getting splashed in the face by Heath.
"Wade!" Both Sheamus and Wade snapped their heads up to see Renee running towards them. The blonde smiled sharply as she sat between the two males. "Alright boys?" She asked with bright eyes, clearly happier than normal.
"Why are you so happy?" Sheamus asked with a raised eyebrow, watching as she just shrugged.
"Oh nothing, nothing." Renee couldn't help but laugh lightly, only making both males give a look of confusion to each other. "Well…Did you to hear about Brandi and Cody?"
Wade decided to stay quiet as Renee told them what happened.
"So she broke it off with little Rhodes?" Sheamus questioned as he lent back on his hands. "Why would she do that?"
"Because they weren't happy, would you stay with someone who you weren't happy with Sheamus?"
"Well no…"
"Exactly. Am I right, Wade?" Renee knocked her shoulder into Wade's side, knocking the Brit out of whatever thoughts he had been so deeply into he hadn't been paying attention.
"What? Yes…" Wade muttered as he stood up quickly. "I think I might go have a dip…or something…" Wade said just as quick as he turned on his heels and marched down the sand.
A loud sigh escaped Sheamus' lips. "Jeez, you'd think they'd be bangin' each other by now, wouldn't ye?"
"If I had my way," Renee pulled out a pair of binoculars from her bag and pointed them down towards where the former leader of Nexus was heading in his long, black swim shorts and blue shirt. "I would have had them knocking around off when Wade first joined the WWE…"
"~Ugh…" Sheamus grumbled as he lay down against the small mat they were on. "Women…"
Cody looked up as soon as he heard splashing coming from the shoreline, as he did he couldn't help but smirk as he saw Wade moving through the water, he went to lift his hand up and beckon the Brit over, but before he could Heath jumped on Wade's back and moved them in a completely different direction.
"Have you told him yet?" Gold-dust nudged Cody's shoulder and the younger Rhodes sighed.
"Yes."
"And I take it he's not gay or something? Because all you seem to be doing lately is be gloomy…" Gold Dust replied as he tossed Cody a beach ball.
"It's none of your business whether Wade's gay or not, and it doesn't matter –" Before Cody could finish, he heard Heath's voice pop up from nearby and growled.
"Hey Cody! Look what I found –"
Not letting the ginger haired male finish as he remembered the splash to the face, without thinking Cody turned in the water and tossed the beach ball to where he thought the idiot known as Heath Slater would be standing. Only to regret it as he watched, in an almost slow-motion way, as the beach ball rebounded off of Wade's head and into Zack Ryder's arms who was standing a few feet away from Gold Dust as he passed it to Dolph Ziggler.
Gold Dust lend in close and whispered into Cody's ear. "That's not how you try to get laid –"
"Just go!" Cody yelled at his brother who frowned but walked away from the other men. Cody turned back towards Wade whose face was unreadable as he saw Heath peek out from behind said Brit.
"Heath!" Wade suddenly growled out as he clenched his fists, making the southerner jump back some. "That was your bloody fault, you pissin' fool!" As if on cue, Heath began running and Wade began chasing as if it were a form of cat and mouse as they headed deeper into the water.
Cody, feeling slightly confused yet rather happy that he wasn't being hunted down like Slater (not that he would have minded you understand) decided to do his own thing and chase after Wade - until they finally came to a really deep part and even Wade was struggling to keep his head up without swimming as the Brit stopped and glared at Heath who swam away while laughing.
However, Cody, who was already swimming to get after Wade, didn't realise he had stopped and went straight into his back, sending them down into the depths of the sea.
Glancing around, Cody saw Wade staring back at him. Smiling, the younger swam closer and was about to pull Wade to him via his hips – yet before the Rhodes could blink – Wade kissed him. Surprise and a slight unknown emotion ran through Cody's eyes as he kissed back, the air they had in their lungs being shared until they finally pulled away after realising they couldn't breath underwater.
Kicking their way up, they panted heavily as they broke up through the top layer of water, swimming to keep themselves up right as they kissed again quickly before looking at each other.
Cody wanted to say something, but before he could Wade spoke up.
"Maybe we should get out of here…?" It was a question in a way, and with the look on Wade's face, Cody couldn't (even if he wanted to) say no. It didn't take them long to swim back to shore, ignoring Heath as he sang "Cody and Wade, sitting in a tree…"
"Oh No…" Renee mumbled as she continued to look through her binoculars.
"What?" Sheamus looked up at her only to watch as the blonde frowned more and more.
"Wade and Cody are leaving…"
"So? I thought you wanted them together?" Sheamus now knew it was official; he would never understand the female mind.
"I do…But…" Renee brought the binoculars from her face and frowned.
"But what?" Now too curious for his own good, Sheamus sat up and watched as Cody and Wade wrapped towels around themselves before getting into a car.
"I don't think others want them too…"
The Irish man wasn't stupid and followed her gaze, seeing Brandi talk with Jack Swagger not far away from them as they watched Cody's car pull away.
"Ah shit…"
Feeling warm air brush against his still slightly wet skin, Wade shivered a little as he looked up to see Cody hovering over him, the younger male leaning in now and then to steal a sweet but short kiss from the naked Brit beneath him. Wade wasn't sure when they had lost their clothes in the rush to the bedroom, they had been kissing and feeling one another as they struggled to get up the stairs without keeping their hands to themselves.
Some how in all the mess they had managed to find their way into Cody's bedroom and had fallen onto the bed with each other.
Wade couldn't help but grasp onto the bed sheet as Cody kissed along his neck while taking hold of his member, slowly stroking it until it became fully erect.
"Wade," Cody whispered into the Brit's ear as their members brushed against each other almost to the point that Cody began to dry hump Wade as the former leader of Nexus couldn't contain a delicious moan that made Cody want to make him sound that way more. "Do you trust me?"
It was a simple question. But Wade had to stop and look straight into Cody's lust filled eyes before he answered. Would he regret this? Would Cody betray him like so many others in his past? Would Cody leave him? Had the younger male just been playing him this entire time? Most importantly, would Wade be able to deal with a simple one night stand...He couldn't be sure about any of the answers, and he also couldn't help what left his mouth.
"Yes." Whether he regretted it or not, at this moment in time he trusted Cody more than anyone else.
Rhodes smiled as he pulled back and grabbed something from the side; squeezing thick liquid from a bottle into the palm of his hand, rubbing it against his pulsing member before he made sure two fingers were still covered in the gel-like substance.
Running his hands over Wade's legs, Cody slipped them around his waist as he moved his hand down, watching as Wade began to pant and close his eyes tightly as he slowly pushed two fingers inside the former bare knuckled fighter who whimpered lowly.
"It's okay..." Cody mumbled against Wade's lips as they open their mouths to each other as Cody stretched the Brit out, hearing a muffled groan of pain come from the other before they separated. "I've got you..."
"Please, Cody..." Wade pleaded as he felt something change from pain to pleasure. It still hurt, but not as much as he thought it would as the fingers were removed, only to be replaced by Cody's throbbing member. Wade bit his lip hard as he tried not to yelp at the sudden motion.
"I won't hurt you Wade, just relax..." Cody reassured as he waited for Wade to nod and tell him it was ok to continue; and finally they gave into their most Deepest Desires...
"Will it be like that every time?" Wade asked in a sleep filled tone, on the brink of falling into a deep slumber as he lay half on Cody's chest and half off. His body was relaxed and he knew even if he wanted to he wouldn't be able to move, let alone stand by himself.
"Did it hurt too much?" Cody lifted his head up and looked at Wade who shook his head, slightly surprised at the amount of concern in the youngers tone.
"No..." Truth be told Wade enjoyed it a little too much. "I didn't mean it like that..."
Cody frowned for a minute until his face unknitted its self and he smirked. "Well if you want to top I can let that happen...but only on some occasions - you make one hell of a sexy sub..."
Wade laughed a bit before rolling his eyes and placing his head closer to where Cody's heart was beating. He didn't mean it like that, he ment would it be with Cody everytime. Though Wade's body was relaxed and had lost all of its tension, his mind was wide awake with different thought running through it - would he stay - or would he leave? ...
(Meanwhile)
"You're sure you want me to do that tomorrow?" Jack Swagger asked as he walked out of a hotel room which held a dark haired woman inside.
"Yes. He took Cody away from me - I want him to pay..." Brandi "Rhodes" smiled at the blonde male who shrugged his shoulders before looking at the pile of money in an envelope which he held tightly onto. "You can do it, right?"
"Yeah, don't worry. When I'm done with Barrett he'll wish he never met Cody..."
"Good. It's time Cody realised I'm not someone who get's swept under the rug..."
