"Mommy." I say as ran as the little girl got to the blonde woman.
"Hey, were where you and your father?"
"We. I. Outside."
"He took you to the woods didn't he?" How did she? "Genevieve I'm your mother I always know when you're lying."
"It's like you read my mind. Dads says I am bit enough to learn how to fight."
"He did?"
"Yes mommy, I'm 5, please let me learn."
"Emma, it's just basics martial arts. Nothing other kids of her age don't learn. You know it cam some handily in the future."
"How is she?" Jeremy asks the doctor as he stakes with Bonnie and Damon at the door.
"We needed to put her in a coma after the surgery."
"A coma?" Jeremy says getting pale as she sat next to Elena who had her hands on her face.
"But the surgery was a success. However I would like, if it possible to have contact with her emergency contact."
"Her emergency contact?" Elena asks confused.
"Yes. Charles Xavier."
"Who is he?"
"Charles." I laugh as he passes by me and pushed me so I could be sitting in his chair in the middle of the school hall and he start to drive us to the garden where the shown from the days before had melted and now it was green again. "Why I think Sunspot had something to do with this?"
"I don't know what you mean by that." He tells me as I smile kissing his check. "What was that for?"
"Being you."
"You liked it?"
"Charles it's wonderful." I say as I look at the nice and cozy apartment.
"I thought you would like something bigger maybe." He says as I lay so I could put my finger on his mouth not letting him talk.
"It's perfect."
"Erik told me you knew Emma." I tell Charles after he came back for work, since I was in college he also took a provisory work at Yale. "Where you going to tell me?" I ask him angry.
"Gennie."
"Don't. I can't believe all this time I talked to you about my mother and you would try to defend her. You know her. For decades."
"Wait you said Erik, he was here?"
"Yes, he came to talk with you but you weren't here."
"Again."
"What does suppose to mean. I can't talk with Erik, your oldest friend?"
"I told you my relationship with Erik is complicated."
"One of the many things you won't talk to be about right?" I say waiting for him to at least give me something but he just looked down and I got up from the couch. "I guess if I want the truth I would have to read your mind, now? I will be at the residency tonight."
"Elena doesn't like being stuck in the house when Sofia is in a coma."
"Well maybe next time she won't make stupid decisions."
"Wish one Damon?"
"Both." He says turning to his brother and them back at the woman lying in the bed. "What the hell was she thinking? Fighting Katherine on her own."
"Well she put quit a fight."
"Yeah sure."
"Damon, she almost success in killing her." Stefan says as Damon turns to him shocked. "She was trying to safe Jeremy besides she's strong."
"Not strong enough for that?"
"Did you listen to yourself? She almost killed Katherine."
"A luck shot." He says and the youngest Salvatore shakes in hand at this brother stupidity.
"Genevieve what nice meeting you here."
"Erik." I say smiling at the man who was in the garden. "Nice meeting you too."
"Came from classes?"
"Actually I came from… forget it's not something you want to listen."
"You can sit, I have been told to be a good listener." He tells me with a smirk and I fight with my mind for some time but I ended up sitting. "I take this is because of the information I gave you about my mother."
"I just feel like the only person I can trust was my father, who else can I trust, if everyone keeps things from me?"
"You're father had passed?" He asks me as I not taking me showing him the picture I had in my necklace as I saw him freezing.
"You knew him?"
"You're father was one of the biggest members of the brotherhood, one of the founding members together with me."
"What brotherhood?"I ask him as I see him looking at me surprised.
"Why are you packing?" Charles asks me with a scared tone. "We only leave next week."
"You're going back to the school, I'm leaving Charles."
"Leaving to where? With who? With who?" he asks terrified and I almost said sorry for him.
"The night my father died, he died to protect me and my mother, because even if he wasn't a mutant, he still defended The Brotherhood. He died to protect us Charles. To protect ME." I say screaming the last part with hot tears in my eyes.
"Gennie, you need to calm down then you will make the rational decision."
"Charles I have been leaving in the residency for three weeks."
"Every couple has their ups and downs."
"I can't do this anymore." I say frustrated because he just didn't understand it.
"You're not making any sense. What happened? Who are you leaving with?"
"ERIK." I scream at him as I see him stopping his wheelchair before he could get to me as I saw the broken expression on his face as I saw the tears on my own eyes. But I needed to leave. I needed to avenge my father death, I needed to fight for other's like us who were being killed and tortured. I couldn't just stay hidden with Charles in the school for the rest of my life
"Erik. Erik is not the man you think he is."
"He's the one I trust." I tell him screaming and frustrated and then I saw the tears in his beautiful blue eyes and at that moment I hated myself for what I was doing and what I was about to do now. "I slept with Erik, I have been with his all this time." I tell him and at that moment I knew I would lose my heart that no matter what I would never forgive myself but there was no turning back so I got my bags and left.
"Damon it was been days since she's here."
"Elena I am very aware of that." He says pissed off knowing very well of that. Don't you have a father to hide from?"
"Don't you have something else to do, like thanking Elijah for saving your life?"
"Elijah is alive?" The tinny voice says as they both turned to her.
"You're awake."
"Elena, what the hell am I doing in a hospital and how is Elijah alive?"
"You have been in a coma for days."
"I, what?"
